Anime High School: First Day Jitters

[Red Mage Black]

A normal day or so to say the first day of school at Azumano High. The teachers ready their papers and prepare for a very long day of meeting old and new faces.

Satoshi Hiwatari sat at his desk waiting for the first students to arrive, he had been teaching at the school for a good 3 years now and hadn't missed a day or taken a vacation. The doors to the school opened and the students poured in like water. The halls were crowded with faces new and old.

(ooc: a little change in plan, since the only teachers are me and Nikose right now, you'll report to my persons class first. sign ups will stay open to those who still wanna take part, I just need one more teacher.

(OoC: The students will usually call him Josh, the teachers will likely call him either Joshua or Mitou.)

Joshua walked inside the classroom, taking his typical place on the front row, right at the wall. He slipped his bag onto his chair and sat down, holding his head with his arm. 'Hm...' he thought, drowsy.

Satoshi watched one of the first kids in his class to walk in. "Well, hello Mister Mitou. I hope you're ready for one of the most important school days of the year, where you get to see faces new and old." He gave Josh a smile and asked,"Are you ready to learn?"

Brian entered Mr. Hiwatari's class and scanned the room from behind his sunglasses. 'A.. B. A. B. C!!!!' zipped through his mind. 'and oh man how I love these uniforms. I forgot how great school was.' He took another glance over the room before finally choosing a seat in the far back corner, leaving his shades on and plopping down in the seat.

[Kima Azure]

Joshua stared a bit at Satoshi before shifting his gaze to the blackboard. "Eh..."

[Fuzzydoom]

Kenshi stepped nto Mr. Naeomanl's homeroom and glanced around. He recieved a nod from one of the students near the back and smiled. Seems he had at least one good friend in homeroom. He then remembered his manners adn turned and introduced himself to Mr. Naeomanl, then went and took his seat next to his buddy.

[Ryu Kurai]

Keiru cautiously entered into Hiwatari-sensei's classroom, carrying a rather large bookbag and a smaller plastic bag that had Digi-Charat on it and was marked "Gamers" that seemed to have several small books in it. He moved towards the back of the classroom, blatantly ignoring the people he didn't know, and giving a nod to those he did.

OOC: you can decide if you know him or not, it doesn't matter to me.

Fuu walks into Hiwatari's class and walks to a seat near the corner of the class. She slings her back pack off her back and lays it next to her chair. She nods back to Keiru as he passes by.

[Nikose Tyris]

Itachi Naeomanl stuck his head in the door. "Hey, Satoshi, The Copy machine is empty. I need another bundle of paper." he walked in, his arms swinging back and forth in rhythm with his body. "also, We have another batch of vandalism outside. someone spraypainted some weird symbols again. We need the chemicals from in back too."

[Red Mage Black]

"Itachi", he said looking up from his desk, "their should be a new pack in the drawer next to it unless they forgot to restock it again. As for the spraypaint, get the new custodian to clean it off",he laughed,"he needs the experience. Also, the chemicals should be in the custodians closet."

Satoshi looked at the students which had walked into his room. "Hello everyone, we will get to this days introductions once everyone is here. As for now, my name to you will be Mr. Hiwatari or Mr. H if you like that better."

[Nikose Tyris]

Itatchi nodded and ducked out of the room, and went back to his classroom to page the janitor.

[Red Mage Black]

He overlooked the class again. "Hello all, welcome to the first day of school!" A room full of sighs and moans could be heard. "Don't be like that you guys! You get to see some people you probably never saw during the summer." He pulled out a small piece of chalk from his desk and wrote his name on the board. "Remember this and you'll be good for the year! Ask me whatever questions you have and don't be afraid to ask Mr. Itachi either." He pulled out a small list with the student names on them. "Time to introduce ourselves! Who will go first?"

[Ryu Kurai]

Keiru sighed heavily. No way in hell was he going first. He started to compose what he would say in his head, certainly not "I like Manga", or anything dorky like that. Maybe "I like American Culture"? Yeah... that was cool. And he had a job, that was cool too. He could act like he had to know Manga because he worked there... That worked. He sat still, slouching back a bit, and waited for the first person to speak up.

[sasuto]

Rankan walked into mister Hiwatari's classroom, "umm excuse me, do you know where Itachi sensei's classroom is, I'm new to this school and was hoping to get some direction. If you could tell me quickly that would be good, Thx in advance"

[Red Mage Black]

"Hold on class", he said as a wave of relieved sighs went thorugh the room. "He just left a few minutes ago, but his class should be down the hall about 6 classrooms and to the right." "Okay class", he said as the room grew silent once more, "We need a first person to come up and introduce themselves."

[sasuto]

"Kay thanks", Rankan, slowly walked out of the room and went to the direction that he was told. "soo this is the chemistry lab. I hope I get to spend alot of time here." Sasuto quickly took a front row seat and looked very attentive, excited about being able to learn.

[Overcast]

He walked slowly to the class of Hiwatari Sensei. Another point of intrest was his lateness though then again he didn't need to arrive on time he had the right to come here. Though the attention that may be dragged to him was a bit off for him. He entered without much sound and took his seat next to Keiru and in turn put a volume of a Digi-Charat Doujinshi on his desk and began to stare at the celing as colors began to form. "No way I'm going first." he thought.

[Nikose Tyris]

Itatchi bowed to his class. "Konichiwa, class. good morning and welcome to your first day of school. as I am aware of most of your progress via your files, I have arranged a list of tasks for each individual, so as to focus your studies where they are most needed. if you have free time, come to me and I we shall do experiments to aid in vaccinations."

[Ryu Kurai]

(OOC: Oh, that's playing dirty, Overcast.)

Keiru instantly recognized Digi Charat on the cover. He eyed it, scanning the cover to make sure it wasn't instantly identifiable as hentai. He had been a fan of Digi Charat before he had applied for gamers, he specifically remembered cosplaying as the Black Gema Gema Gang's Coo on several occasions. Try as he might, however, his thoughts were shattered and he kept on wondering what the Doujinshi was about. He would have to talk with this classmate more in-between classes.

"What would you have me do Sensei. I'm eager to learn more and want to learn chemestry(SP)" Rankan was hoping he could study or help with the vaccinations. he was thinking the whole while yes I get to be in the Chem lab YES YES YES

[Nikose Tyris]

"you, Rankan... hm.., When I reviewed your file, It came across that while you were a supragenius, you were not to be trusted with anything more dangerous than water. so I shall have you working with me up front, and I shall evaluate you on your performance here." Itatchi cleared a section of his cluttered Lab desk for Rankan.

Brian stood up never being one who wasafraid of meeting new people, and always a fan of being the center attention. 'Don't say I like boobies, don't mention boobies, or anything else. You can do this Brian'

"Hello I am Brian and I like..." Brian began to scan the room looking for anything non-perverted. "Digi-charat?" Brian continued in a semi-confused voice. "Sounds like hentai, I mean breasts, I mean gahhhh" Brian finished exasperated grabbing his head for forgetting how to seperate his inner and outer monologue. Standing straight and rigid he bowed before sliding back into his chair and trying to play it off.

[Overcast]

"That was pure excellence." he thought as Brian sat down. He looked over not paying much attention but simply smiling as he looked at the obvious T-rape victim. "I actually think I'm gonna enjoy this."

Kenshi stood up, a look of semi-panic on his face. "Sensei, may I please be excused for a moment? I forgot my stuff in my locker." He waitefd anxiously for a response.

Fuu put her head down on her desk
'No way I'm introducing myself' she thought to herself 'I hate standing in front of the class.'

OOC: Its not going to become the focus of the RP, but it is one of my character's personality quirks to think like that. I'll try to keep it down, but it is something my character does.

Brian looked over at Sawao and struck a pose so cheesy he could barely keep back his own laughter. I big toothy grin with a largely over animated thumbs up. (Un)foturnately he kept himself from doing the ding sound effect as that would have sent him into a bought of laughter.

[Overcast]

The look was ver effective and had him holding back a smile to keep his serious look in check. This unfortunatly made him stand up. He didn't feel like bieng stupid lookng (especially since there was a girl in this class0 and approached the front.

At that point he lost his cool and blurted this out, "HellomynameisSawaoandIenjoymangaandreadingaswellas writingIamhappytobeinthisclassandhopetomakealotoff riends!" he bows heavily and walks shakily back to his desk. He had a little red that offset his skin majorly but like before with his smile forced it back to a silent blush.

Fuu looks around the room and sighs. 'Better get it over with' she thinks to herself.
She stands up and goes to the front of the classroom "Hello, I am Fuu. I like to read comics and sci-fi." she says in a droney I-don't-want-to-be-here voice. She walks back to her seat and sits down.

[Ryu Kurai]

Keiru stands up quickly, before anyone else has a chance to. He goes up to the front, and hastily tries to compose his thoughts. "My name is Keiru, and I work at Gamers. I like Manga and writing, along with American culture." He said, finishing abruptly and walking back to his seat. He had nearly said he worked at Digi Charat and liked Doujinshi and drawing comics, along with Japanese culture. He slumped forwards in his desk and sighed. Another year of school... How much more of this would he be subjected to?

[sasuto]

"What, just because I get a little overexcited doesn't mean that I'm dangerous does it?. HUH, HUH . Also what do you want me to do up there next to you??"

Rankan was slightly embarrassed to be addressed as he was infront of the class but he wanted to know why Itachi sensei had a low expectation of him.

[Nikose Tyris]

"Rankan, please bring your things to the front. I need your help with a formula, actually. The rest of you, please don't blow yourselves up working on your tasks. and get them right; I am using them after school for a job that is dependant on your success."

[Red Mage Black]

As everyone finished a small girl rose from her seat. Her blue eyes stared directly at him as to tell him that his fly was down. "Excuse me Mister Hiwatari", she said catching his attention, "may I go use the lavatories?" "Yes you may", he said smiling, "just do me one favor. When you're done please go and ask the headmaster for the files." "Okay", the girl said as she rushed out of the room. "Okay lets get to the activities!" A moan like zombies went through the room.

[Overcast]

"Ok this can't be so bad I mean I'm pretty damn smart." he thought to himself at his teacher's voice stating the official begining of class. "But then again I did have a hard time last year with the whole Manga thing getting in the way of school work," he then began to ruffle his hair furiously, "and the two years before that with the depression," suddenly his head got aquainted with his desk as he thought, "Maybe it is that bad."

[sasuto]

"Alright, what will we be doing, I'm sooo excited, when do we start? what will we do? how long have you taught? What's your last name? do you like anime? Can we please start?"

Rankan was known for being over eccentric. Whenever he meets new people he just can't stop the questions... for that he usually gets in trouble

(Sorry I couldn't post. My PC died 72 times in a row, and I had to spend the last three days PC-less. At last I got to use the school's PC.)

Joshua merely stared ahead, apparently not paying attention to anything everyone else was saying. His glasses covered his eyes, not really letting the others see what he was really staring at, and there was a small noise that reminded the other students of light snoring coming from somewhere in the class.

Picking up his guide book, Satoshi read through it like a madman. "Todays lesson is", he said while pointing his finger on a random page, "English! Get ready kids and kittens, we'll learn why you can't use a preposition in some sentences! Maybe even learn how to spell correctly."

[Nikose Tyris]

"Today, you, Sasuke, will be helping me with these formulae for splitting Hydrogen. I know it's possible, and i need to make a record on paper. do the equations." Itatchi went back to his electrolosis machine while he worked on it.

[Overcast]

"Hooray ingrish and from the looks of it unnaturally simple ingrish I am assured to pass!" he thought to himself smiling.

[Ryu Kurai]

Keiru perked his head up at the word "English". English meant America! Plus, English was the foreign language to know. He sat forward, a serious and determined expression on his face.

Brian was nearly gleeful as he heard todays lesson would be english. Then his head landed with a thump against his desk at the metion of prepositions, remembering 'proper' English was one of his weakest areas.. "Come on English in Japan has to be easier than English in America." He said hopefully tilting his head foward.

[PizzaGuy]

Kyoko ran down the street as if he was on fire.All he could think of was the stupid joke his brother had played the night before by ordering 10 of every pizza they had at Mozzerella Merls and sending to his next door neighbour making sure Kyoko got no sleep.There it was on the horizen his new school
"finally" he gasped.He ran down the hall to his new teachers classroom he opened the door and managed to gasp out the words "sorry I'm late
Mr. Hiwatari" before taking a seat somewhere in the middle of the room.

[Fuzzydoom]

"Ummm, sir?" Kenshi had been standing for a few minutes and was growing slightly uncomfortable. At least no one had started laughing yet.

"Hmm...english." Fuu said to herself "this could prove interesting."

[Red Mage Black]

He looked at some of the exciting looks and some of the distressed faces of the classroom. "Well, at least some people have good taste in language", he said as he turned around and wrote English in big letters on the board. "Now, since its the first day", he said ignoring the fact a student was late,"I won't give homework today."

Satoshi started writing a sentence on the board. When he was finished, "Anyone wanna tell me what it says?" He adjusted his glasses and waited for a response.

(ooc: the first person that answers this gets to pick what it says. It just has to be appropriate.)

[Overcast]

"Impotence." he was almost 100% sure that was what it said. And after about three years translating this comic megatokyo he was quite sure he was right. "Uhh I'm right...right?"

[Red Mage Black]

Satoshi sighed at the answer. "No it is not, would anyone else like to try?" He wrote something else on the board which looked another long sentence. "Every time a wrong answer is made I'll add a sentence to the board. Can anyone tell me what they both say?"

so he want's me to do equations huh, this should be simple Rankan quickly reviewed what was already written and looked to see what his sensei was doing. That looks like it's really fun, WHY can't I do that? Rankan just looked in agony and want to do more advanced stuff. Meanwhile he finished his studies and started pacing...

[Nikose Tyris]

he glanced at Rankan. "Done already? good. come here and apply the theory to the hydrogen I have seperated, using any equipment in the room." He then glanced around the room. "any problems class? If you need any help, just remember you are inconviencing me."

[sasuto]

must not laugh, must not laugh Rankan was trying his hardest to restrain himself from laughing and was slowly succeding. "all right I will do as you told me." Rankan did a quick run through of his equations and slowly but surley started to apply them. all right now, all I have to do is to just put this here and than apply that there "DONE" Rankan exclaimed, as he glanced at the clock.

[Nikose Tyris]

"Half as long as I thought you would take. Your my new lab assistant. there goes your free time. you realise I have made 3 jokes total now and you enver laughed?" he growled.

[Fuzzydoom]

Having finally grown tired of waiting for Mr. naeomanl to notice him, Kenshi leaves the classroom. As he returns with his books he is slightly surprised by the sight that greets him.

[Nikose Tyris]

Mr. naeomanl was glaring at him as he walked in the door. "You're quite late, young man. take a seat and begin your problems." he turned back to his work with Rankan.

[Fuzzydoom]

"With all due respect sensei I was standing their attempting to get your attention for 20 minutes before I got sick of being ignored and left, I'm not late." Kenshi was feeling just a tad peeved at his new teacher by this time, and his tone reflected it.

[Ryu Kurai]

Reiku sighed. He honestly was started to loathe this teacher, and he had only known him a short time. He raised his hand.

[sasuto]

"I'm sorry you just seemed like the mean type of teacher and I've suppressing laughter practically this whole time, it made it very hard to concentrated on the problems..." Rankan just couldn't hold in his laughter anymore and let it all out in the same breath. This left him breathless and he kinda blanked out for a second. " Woah, what happened." then remembering what he was doing he quickly asked his sensei. "So what do you want me to do know?"

[Nikose Tyris]

Itatchi looked at both them all and sighed. "You, Kenshi; I was ignoring you since you were too foolish to take your seat. read the sign." He pointed to a sign that read 'take your seat, students. Then ask any questions."

"you, Reiku, what do you want? I am in a bit of a rush with the first day and all."

"You, Rankan. Keep working. Work forward in your plans. just continue with the formulae and experiments till you succeed successfully. as you can see, your experiment has become volotile." He pointed at the now quaking cylinder.

[Red Mage Black]

Satoshi looked at the horrifying glare that was the clueless classroom. "Nevermind", he said erasing everything off the board. "Now we'll start on mathematics! Yes, I am an English/Math teacher. Get ready to put your minds to the test for the real world, where you'll work harder then ever thought you would need to." He pulled a book from the desk and started wrtiting equations on the board. "Okay class", he said turning to the students,"who can guess the right answer to this?"

"Uhh I think the answer is 1337." he said a bit off...he was never that good with math. Oh god please don't be wrong this time...

((had to do it. its the only number except 42 I could joke about.))

[sasuto]

Ohhh, shoot... now what to do.... Sasuto had to act quickly, he quickly took out a few drops of the substance and dropped it in a safe cup. Then he started his experiment all over again and this time redid his calculations. I hope this works....

[Nikose Tyris]

Itatchi adjusted his hair, putting the strands that had been blown out of place by the EXPLOSION that had been caused by Rankan. "yes, I'd say you not only split that Hydrogen, you also split all the ends on my hair..." He paused, then grinned. "great job. full marks. continue messing around, by use a blast box next time; their the glass thing's in the corner."

[sasuto]

"ohh, umm I didn't see it" Rankan, added shamefully, "but yes I understand now.... Where's everyone else?" Rankan waited for the answer as he went to try to split some more hydrogen molecules this time in the blast box.

[Nikose Tyris]

"probably late... this class also has a low headcount, which may affect it." Itatchi sighed. "drop the formal title for now, my last name is damn-near unpronouncable. Call me Itatchi."

[sasuto]

"umm ok itachi, SO what do I get to do next?? I can't wait for anything!!!!"

[Nikose Tyris]

"Just keep working in the box. follow that list of formula, and help the others in the class." Itatchi gestured to the nearly empty room. "okay, the other 2 in the class..."

[Fuzzydoom]

"Not for long I hope." Kenshi was having a bad day. He finally found his homeroom and realized he ahd forgotten his books. Then, when the teacher had refused to notice him for six minutes, he had gone to get his books. When he came bakc the teacher had yelled at him. It had taken a lot of restraint to keep him from just punching the guy in the face. He still wanted to but he had himself under control now. Come on bell, ring dammit.

[Ryu Kurai]

Reiku lowered his hand. "Forget this stupid class..." He said, putting his hands over his face and propping his head up in an attempt to fall asleep.

[Overcast]

((hmm...the GM forces his own RP in to extinction. How does this happen.))

[Nikose Tyris]

"Kenshi, stop watching the clock." Itatchi walked over. "Here, let me help you with the problems... the key here is to work with the Oxygen particle and split it, without causing it to bond with another element. Do you think you can design a good theory to deal with that problem?" Itatchi looked concerned over the lack of enthusiasm in the child. he was stressed and hadn't fully designed a lesson plan for the day.
