Who doesn't love Family Guy? If you don't I wanna hear from you! Yes you.
This is one of the most hilarious cartoons ever, they make jokes about the obvious and pointless things. And they are still making episodes after...how long has it been on the air? First it was on Fox, now you can see it on [Adult Swim] AND Fox.

Well I wanna hear what your favorite episode is. Or if you dont like Family Guy, why?

Personally my favorite episode is where they kill Mr. Weed and Peter tries to become a jouster.

Well, it's been around since 1999. But, it's only in it's fourth season. It was cancelled and there were 3 years no new episodes were made. They only recently started making new episodes because Fox realized "Shit, this show is actually popular! Better uncancel it!" (thanks to [as] and high DVD sales)

Anyway, favorite episodes.... Probably gonna have to be "Death is a Bitch" and "Let's Go to the Hop".

Is it just me, or has the current season been a tad more off the wall. Not that its bad or anything, but the older episodes used to stick to one plot & have zany tie-ins. The recent episodes seem to have 2-3 plots working at once.

For example, in the first new episode, Peter & Lois go away for a marriage retreat, and somehow end up in a battle with Mel Gibson. And later episodes seem even more off the wall to me.

The new season does seem a bit more off the wall.
Personally, I have never met anyone who didn't love Family Guy. Is it even humanly possible. I sure hope not. I can't believe they cancelled it at one point. Really big mistake. Glad its back on though!

I think its the Simpson's breaking through. I read somewhere that Mcfarlane wanted to get more Simpson-esque, more devolped minor characters, involved plots, etc.
I don't have favorite episodes, but my favorite dialouge is when Peter takes the newly ninjustu-trained Lois into the bar and makes fun of all the New Yorkers.
"Is your refigerator running? If it is, I bet it runs like you...very homosexually."

Yeah, and in the middle of it, he proclaims 'Krypton Sucks', and gets Lois to kick the three bad guys from Superman II into the Phantom Zone! It's this kind of non-sequiter humour that places Family Guy close to my heart. I haven't seen the new series. I'm gonna wait on a legit broadcast over here. *Crosses Fingers*

Favorite episode is either "Death is a Bitch" or the episode featuring Stewie's first birthday (can't remember the title).
The first because Death is a hilarious character ("Ah, now I'll never be a virgin! Or, will I...? *rocking motions*")
The second because it's just hilarious, especially Stewie vs. the Man in White.

Man in White: What do you want?!!
Stewie: Freedom! What do YOU want?
MiW: I want to get out of here!
Stewie: I'm sorry, we're all out of that. All we have left is swift, untimely death! *appears carrying large ray-gun*
MiW: What is that?
Stewie: It's a boy! *gun fires*

Good shtuff, that. :)

My favorite episode: Emission Impossible. The one where Peter and Lois decide they want another kid, but Stewie thinks otherwise.

*Peter accidentily knocks a lamp off of a nightstand. Grabs the bed Lois and her sister are laying on and pulls the whole bed over the broken glass in order to hide it while the two ladies stare at him. He silently leaves the room. Off camera you hear something else break and the sound of heavy furniture moving to cover something else up.* Classic!

You're thinking of 'Chitty Chitty Death Bang'.

Personally, my favorite episode is Peter Griffin: Husband, Father, Brother? (The one where Peter discovers he's black). Though Mr. Griffin Goes To Washington is a very close second.

oh, did they ever show the 2nd part to the episode where brian becomes a police dog??

also, i really LOVED the old episodes on adult swim. unfortunately, ive seen them so many times, i always seem to know whats gonna happen.. :(

though, the new episodes arent as great. they are still pretty funny, but most of the humor is REALLY leaning towards sexual humor more than it used to.

I love Family guy. My favorite episode is probably "Death is a Bitch" or the one where Lois and Peter go to Kissfest.
Interviewer: "How does it feel that you're wife had sex with Gene Simmons?"
Peter: "I love it, because she had sex with Kiss, it feels like I had sex with Kiss."

And It does seem that the new season is alittle wackier than previous seasons. Like the second or third episode this season (I can't remember) Peter fought a giant chicken for no apperent reason for five minutes, and then he walks back and acts like nothing happened. Still extreamly hillarious.

Family Guy definitely kicks ass. One of my favorite episodes is when Peter remakes "The King and I". Funny as hell, that.

But here's a question for all you.

In the opening credits, when Lois holds up Stewie and he says his line, is it "Effin Cry" or "Laugh and Cry"?

I have the closed captioning on my TV (don't ask why), and I've seen both. What do you guys think?

I love family guy, although I have only seen two seasons. My favorite episodes are the one where peter goes to the beer factory ,especially the song, and the jew one that they just aired, especially the eye surgery part.

My favorite episode is when Peter has an out of body experience with death.

He takes off his hood and hes all covered in snakes and spiders, pete screams for like a minute than continues on with what he was saying like nothing happened.

I pretty much like every family guy. I just most love it though when, for no reason, he starts beating the shit out of the chicken man.
And my favorite quote thingy is when Peter is doing the laundry on his own.

Peter: Wait a minute, I'm missing a sock! (goes into dryer and falls into Narnia)
Goat-Man: Welcome to Narnia, good sir! (sock on his horn)
Peter: Hey! Gimmie back my sock, ya goat bastard!
(Chases after goat-man)

I can sing that song. It's a groovy song.

And in the latest episode, called "Petarded", Peter finds out he's retarded. One of my favourite lines was when he was on the phone.

"Hello, Shelley (or something)? Hey, it's Peter Griffin! Senior prom? Hey, how ya doin'? Listen, I just found out I'm retarded... so you uh, might wanna get yourself checked."

That was hilarious. All he did was pretty act as he usually does, but now he has an excuse.

(Peter kicks bathroom stall door open)
(Girl screams)
Peter: Sorry, I'm retarded.
x2
Girl: Well your a curious fellow. Let me tell you how it all works down there.

All I have to say about Family Guy right now is 2 things. "OMG there's a bear in my porridge!"-Husband of "hot" teacher and "Looove you"-The bear.

It took me 5 minutes to remember how to spell husband. oy vey. It's been a long, long day.

My favorite Family Guy is probably the one where Meg gets a makeover. I like the scene at the White House.

I'm working on Chris's Whhhhhaaaaaaaat? line in the (possibly more than this one) "A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Bucks" episode. YAY! post 100! Whoohoo!

Family Guy is teh awsomeness. However the recent episodes have been more off the wall simply because they've been shorter. At least they seem shorter. FOX probably wants to make more money with adds, so they make Family guy shorter. Grrrrrrrrr

Favorite Episode:The King is Dead=When Peter puts on a play
Favorite Character:Stewy
Favorite FG Song: Randy Newman's "Fat Man With His Kids and Dog"
Favorite FQ Quote:"Ms Stevenson you have cancer. You have only six months to live"-"Oh my god!!!"-got milk?
