So I've just bought World of Warcraft. I've been anticipating playing this game for a while. I get home and begin installation, but, what's this? I need DirectX 9.0c to play it? Hahaha! There is no problem I can't overcome and still have time to play a little WoW before nightfall! *Five to six hours later* Why won't you install!?! Install damn you DirectX! And stop giving me the "A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted." notice! Give a little! Trust the man!
[/End rant]

So in condenced form, I cannot get DirectX 9.0c to install. It just keeps giving me a notice saying, "A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted."If you are at all familiar with my troubles I [B]BEG of you to help me out.

I don't believe I've got 9.0c, but to hazard a guess, I'd suggest you get 9.0b installed on your computer before going 9.0c. Also, a re-download of 9.0c couldn't hurt.

A friend of mine recently had issue with 9.0c. It had something to do with her video card drivers not being up to date. After going to the card manufacturer's site and getting the most recent driver, then re-installing 9.0c, everything worked alright.
