Help me pimp my myspace

Is there any way that I can get one of you kind folks to make me an 8-bit theater Banner so I can link to the site from there.
I kinda just wanna pay homage to the site that gets me through work everyday

hmm redscar ill talk about some stuff in this post..

i admit that myspace does get pretty confusing..

first of all, once youve logged in, press the "home" button near the left hand side of the screen. this will bring you to your central profile that allows you to edit your myspace stuff.

right now, lets go to "Upload/Change Photos". this option thingy shows up inside a blue box that is labeled "Hello, RedScar". (though, im not saying your username WOULD be redscar). inside "Upload/Change Photos", you can take a picture from your computer and make it the picture that shows up in your profile. i assume you know how to upload it.. once it is uploaded, i think it shows up automatically as your profile photo. if not, then go to the picture that shows up on the main "upload/change photos" page and "set as default". you can also add a caption to the picture which shows up underneath the picture when you go into a different page (ill explain later..)

after you upload the photo you want, go back to "home". next, we shall go to "edit my profile". actually, all of the stuff here is pretty straightforward. just fill in whatever you want. just keep in mind that the info you put will show up in your profile that others can see.

now go back to "home". next, we shall go to "view my profile". assuming that you put stuff into the "edit my profile" thing, the info you put will show up in this next page. this page will be the ones that your friends can see. look at the photo you might have put up (if you didnt put a photo, it will say "no photo".) click on the photo. in the next page, it will show the photos you have uploaded. here is where you can see the captions you have put. lets say you are looking at someone else's profile.. underneath one of your friend's photos it will have the "post comment" option. if you click on that option you will get the chance to comment upon the photo. to see other people's comments click on one of the photos instead. it will show the comments.

there are certaintly other stuff that you can do, but they arent AS important..

also, mind if i add you guys to my friends list?? my username shows up as "Big L". so, accept my request if you feel like it..

oh yeah, in order to accept or decline my friend request, on the "home" page, go to "friend requests, inside of the "my mail" blue box. then look around, and it should show my friend request..

Also a good idea is to find an editor and let it do the work for you if you arent an html demi god. <blessing> ;-) thomas myspace editor v 2.5 works.

Red Fighter 1073, thanks for your help but I have actually figured out all of that before. What I'm trying to do is get a back ground, add music, add pictures into my pargraphs, hyperlink somestuff, mabye add a flash movie. The fancy stuff you see on some of the pages. The stuff that confuses me to no end as how to add. I have the basics down allready. And if I find someone who can work mircales and do that stuff for me i'll greatly accept their help.

hmm..i know how to do the music thing..my friend knows how to do the colored background but i cant seem to remember how to.

anyways, go to musicfeet.com for the music. be warned that you are going to have to refresh the site lots of time because it really is kinda screwy. once you pick the song you like, there will be tons of letters and numbers near it. this is the music code that is needed. just copy the code..then in the "edit my profile" part of your myspace thingy go to the music section. then paste the code. if the music video actually works (some dont) then you will be able to see the music video of the thing you chose..

also, fenris/spacepope, how did you put up that banner in the myspace thingy??
