From a about [url=http://www.we-make-money-not-art.com/archives/006709.php]experimental second person shooters (]digg[/url) (which as a topic may be included in this thread, I have some thoughts on that), I stumbled upon this we-make-money-not-art site. I'm immediately infatuated; everything about the aesthetic design of this site to the sleek content and progressive, innovative ways it presents things/actual things it presents are just mind-blowing.

So one of the great things I came across was social, interactive music-creation through 'musical tables' (http://www.sonicforms.org/relatedwork.php), queer little experimental machines that elicit the most interesting of results.

The fusion of music and interactivity is quite interesting to me these days, with games like Lumines getting a slightly more mainstream appeal, but things like this (ie ps2s relatively unknown Tecnic Beat, the Vib Ribbon/Ripple games, and the amasingly sexily designed Moji I believe it's called) have existed for a while in some form or another, and the fact that it's all slowly steadily gaining speed is great news.

So I guess I'm hoping for a general discussion on all things on the progressive design front. Heh. Hope you find the links interesting.
