just a little thread to help out the mods. i realize that sometimes the new people around here end up putting threads in the wrong place and end up having to make a mod move it or something like that. its cool and everything, but this thread can help you in not knowing where to place a thread.
The Rules Forum
-well, you wont really EVER be putting threads in here. only mods can do so. this is where they make the rules and stuff to help keep a good forum experience going.
The 8-Bit Theater Forum
-This forum is for anything that relates to Brian's 8-bit theater. if you ever have a thread asking a question about something related to the comic, put it here.
The Nuklear Age Forum
-This forum is for anything that relates to brian's book Nuklear Age. if you have any questions regarding his book, like why did a character do this or something like that.
The General Forum
-This forum allows many types of threads. from news stories, to musical artists, even movies are included here. keep note that if you want to talk about favorite music or most anything related to music, the thread mostly goes here.
The Off Topic Forum
-This forum also allows many types of threads. think of it as The General Forum except that less serious topics go here. still, that doesnt mean you can put spammy, pointless topics here either.
The Discussion Forum
-This forum is for the more serious topics. like things relating to politics and new stories.
The Arts and Crafts Forum
-This forum is for anything obviously relating to Arts and Crafts. if you were to make a fanfic or a story, it would go here. also, a new webcomic you are making would go here too. poetry would go here too.
The Video Games Forum
-This forum is pretty straightforward. if there is any topic that relates to video games, it would mostly be put here. for example, if you had just played a video game and wanted to know what other people thought of it, put the thread here.
The Books and Comics Forum
-This forum is also pretty straightforward. anything related to a book or comic or webcomic you have read would go here. sometimes, people put their webcomic threads here too, which is ok.
The Animation Forum
-This forum is for any ANIMATED tv shows. talk about it here. also, anything that was in the shows would be put here too.
The Forum Related Stuff Forum
-This forum is for anything that relates to helping the forum become better. if you have found something that is wrong, or have an extra idea to help the forums, put it here. also, the caption for the forum on the main page sums this forum pretty nicely.
The "Tell The Admin" Forum
-This thread is for any topics that the mods think are really important. if the topic is really important, it is moved from "Forum Related Stuff" into this forum.
The Dead Topic Repository Forum
-This forum is for any topics that have been closed or havent been in posted in for i think around a month or so. i think, it is generally a bad idea to post in an open topic that has been put in here unless you really have something that contributes to the thread.
also, in some of the forums, there are mod-created threads that concern the rules of that specific forum. reading those are really important.
like the mods say, if you REALLY dont know where to put a thread, Private Message one of the mods or even one of us forumites, and we will be able to help you. there is absolutely no harm in asking.
also, if anyone thinks i made a bad explanation or wants to add something feel free to do so.
