It's really like all my characters are secretly in an incompetence contest and the grand prize is something like a life time supply of cake or endless bliss or immortality or a combination of all three.

...hah. BM's on the same level as RM.
Seriously though...BM's kinda...different. It's as if He's become RM, who's become Thief...who got outthiefed.

I'm curious as to where Black Mage's spell went to. I'm also curious as to why Ranger felt it was necessary to shoot a barrage of arrows at our psychotic friend.
Ranger is rivaled only by Fighter in your contest. RM has his moments, and Garland lost his claim in his last encounter with the noble Fighter McWarrior.
Edit: Thats mental incompetence tally. As far as deeds, I think it's RM in the lead. Although his plans have been coming along. Ice9 and Retrograde void action indeed.

Are there any other goals in life?
Also, shouldn't that be sea of eternal nightjare? I mean, really. It makes perfect sense.

Bwhahaha! Ah man. They are in a stupid race! Now, somebody mentioned this last discussion. They were right! Who was it?
I wonder if that spell hit Onion Kid....

That WOULD be hilarity at it's finest. Though something tells me Brian already has something in his twisted mind planned for that stray meteor. We'll probably see it or it's results in about ten comics, after we've forgotten about it completely.

No, I'm afraid meteors fall quite a bit faster than that.

So wait, BM wasn't pinned down? Thief has more influence on the LW than I suspected.
And bye bye to the charity home that recently brought Onion Kid in.

BM accidentally METEORed the arrows away when trying to METEOR Ranger and RM and therefore freed himself.

Oh sure, the meteor probably already hit, but we'll come to the destruction it created when it hit later, and probably meet a survivor.
Random Person: Warriors of Light! Please help us! Not but a few hours ago, a huge meteor of large size slammed into our town! Only a few remain.
BM: Man! I really DO have to work on my aim. *Bolt 3's the guy*

I'm curious as to where Black Mage's spell went to.
Meanwhile, in Midgar...

I kind of miss the occasions when a Light Warrior would be almost clever, or even intelligent. It used to happen, I swear.
Or perhaps s/he only seemed to be.
Yet lately there is not even the illusion of intellect or insight. Which is still funny, of course, in a Loony Toons kind of way.

BM: I wonder where my Meteor went?
Meanwhile... in Dwarfland, Elfland, Midgar, Corenlia and The Planet on the other isde of the sun where the giant lizards ONCE ruled but now don't because of a strange inccodent and are now ruled by apes...

Wow Red Dragon, that joke is so overused, and yet it's still funny.
I absolutely love Ranger's coyness, especially when you realize that it's not really coyness, and he's actually as ignorant as he shows.
"You're barking up the wrong tre--METEOR!"
"I'm not familiar with that phrase."
My favorite part.
But how did Black Mage go from one panel, completely pinned by four arrows, to the next where only one arrow pins his hat, and he can casually take the arrow off?

I'm guessing the act of casting the spell made him move around and that got him loose.
the meteor will probably hit the ship.
Actually, a hadoken (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=050423) hit it.

It's unbelievable how ranger is incredibly naive, but thats what makes it funny. It reminds me of one of my favorite all time parts of 8-bit, when they were fighting the vampire. He had no idea that the light warriors were just trying to kill him the whole time.
"Be careful, guys! Someone could have gotten hurt with that knife!"
RM is surprisingly slick, well....slick enough to dupe ranger.

Yes, Ranger is a bit naive for a serial killer.
I'm sure that the results of Black Mage's spell and the end of Fighter's story will make us all feel warm and fuzzy come Saturday.

.. wait, when you said serial killer about ranger... aren't ALL warrior serial killers... Let's see, Theif when he killed half of Dwarfland, RM with the dragon and.... and... well, NVM, Fighter with Kary, and BM... well, do I even have to explain....
Meteor.... I wonder who it could hit... *crosses fingers* in hopefulness

Holy #$%^. That was the exact same thought that went through my head.

Oh come on, everything BM does is bound to harm onion kid. The very Air he breathes out forces it's way into Onion Kid's lungs, causing him to cough violently, the loose bits of ground he kicks up as he walks forms small piles that trip our poor Onion kid, and every hadoken sucks out any love that anyone will ever have for the orphan.
Tis Sad, no?
Getting suprised that BM hurt Onion kid is like being suprised George Bush misdunpronunciationed words.

My first thought was that the meteor probably hit Thief & Fighter, but now I'm considering the distinct possibility that it hit Cleric, Rogue and/or Berserker, which of course means that the healing shiv will be put to effective use. ^_^
Onion Kid is a possibility too, of course.
