Alright. The last few episodes of Big O completely confused me. Some how, Angel became a robot, and then everything she touched, disappeared. And the guy kept talking about tomatoes. And when the one man held up a book, it suddenly filled with pages, and then he disappeared. And there were large light settings in the sky. What the hell was going on?

Welcome to a few months ago, population you...
Big O is one of those shows that spawns camps of fans who have conflicting opinions...
I personally think that Angels Megaduece is what caused the 'Event' (making everybody forget everything), and thats symbolized by everything she touches disappearing, then reappearing at the end.
But thats just me...I don't know if theres a third season or not, but they damn well better be making one!

Ya gotta make your own conclusions...its one of those thinker shows...although the final robo-battle was kickass...

Man, do I ever loathe those kinds of shows. Probably why a friend of mine can't get me into anime - keeps showing me things like Lain, Big O, and the end of Evangelion. Boy, was that ever a mistake.

Watch FLCL, it's also a thinker show, but you don't have to get it to enjoy the insanity. Also, Rurouni Kenshin... Gundam Wing (only gundam I like, and I'll probably be crucified for saying that), Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll, Hellsing and... if you're over 18, Missionary of Love ReiRei is hillarious. I can't think of anymore that aren't thinkers though... but that's cause I'm too poor to watch anything I can't catch on Animidnight on the action channel, or cartoon network. (TechTV's anime unleashed annoys me, cause they show episodical anime... out of order.)
On Topic: It seems I missed the last episode of Big O so I can't really comment on a lot of the stuff you guys are talking about (guess I'll have to make sure I see it this time), but I do know what the tomatoes represent. That old man trained a bunch of kids to use the megadeuses, and that's what the tomatoes are about. That's why Roger says things like, "Am I just another one of his tomatoes!?" He has memories one of the kids, and occassionally has memory flashbacks of it. Apparently, they infused memories into people and stuff... yah.
