Okay, couple of questions for you:

1) It's been a long time since we've heard anything about project video game (unless I'm blind and missed a newspost or something), so, I'm just curious as to how that's coming along, and whatnot.

2) Also, I'm curious to know if you've managed to get another editor for your book yet or not, or if progress is being made on the editing of that, and such and such. (Again, I apologize if I missed a newspost about that, too).

well for question 1 i do know hat mbassist is working hard on it, he just doesn't post often about it. unless you're talking about something else

Project video game = The video game that Brian is making with the help of several people, and it's unrelated to 8-Bit Theater. You know, the Shmup?

mbassist is working on his game of his own accord, and really isn't official nuklear power fodder (yet, if ever), and it certainly isn't Project Video Game.

Both the book and Project Video Game are coming along, but rather slowly. Now that my new editor is at work on the book, that should change. Nothing can really change the pace of Project Video Game since everyone involved can only work on it in their spare time.

Any chance you're working towards something that could be turned into a playable demo? I'm sure most of us here wouldn't mind seeing something of what Project Video Game is up too...

Indeed. A demo would be good.

Also, do you have any vauge notions as to the system requirements of Project Video Game? Because this computer is old, and I am oh so poor.

the problem with giving out demos is that it's like saying "here's what's coming" when at any point you may totally lose your desire to finish it. and believe me it is in fact quite possible to lose that desire

Actually, Brian doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would give up on a project that shows promise halfway through. Especially after he's put a lot of hard work into it.

Yes I would have to agree with brave fencer on that one. Brian really doesn't seem to be one to give up on something he has been working so hard on. So I think a playable demo would be nice but it is their choice if they want to release one or not.

I just want to know when the book is coming out. The bar has been at -8000% for like a year now.

When Brian has a better idea, he'll let us know. He's found a new editor, so things will probably start happening here soon.

Actually, it's only been a couple of months... unless it was just a really short year

Great, a new editor who will have to read the book eight hundred more times. Oops, did I exagerate again, that's like the twentieth time in this thread. Seriously lollie, it's cool that you care, but don't be picky, especially with your sig.
