…that makes the forum automatically lock threads after so many posts? It'd be helpful in the roleplaying forum because I repeatedly see threads go over the 100 post limit without closing.

In the RP forum its mostly up to the creator to determine when to make new chapters, but most have been sticking to the 100 post limit...and if they don't its usually because it wouldn't be good story-wise to just cut it off right there...

And it's because no one cares about that forum expect the small ammount of people who regularly go there.

The mods really only created that forum so that RPers wouldn't try to make RPs in other areas and clog them up, although there seems to be a larger community of RPers here then there were back at TWC.

Yep, a number of us old fogies will comment back to the days of TWC. Note I don't say fondly, since shortly after 8-bit left, the whole thing took a nose dive. First it was for about three days TWC went offline, then after about two days TWC went offline for over a week. An exodus of people fled TWC, which turned into "Webcomic Discussion". In fact, I believe every RPer from the main TWC forum came to this forum after that, me being one of them.

I dont know, TWC went downhill from the start. After Fuitad left, the entire thing kinda went kaput. :(

Hell, a select few of us predate even TWC, and go back to the old EZBoard days. You young'uns, thinkin' you're so old by being there on TWC. BAH!

Too bad TWC and the EZBoard areas are gone. Now all we have are memories....

And that whole thing about TWC turning Edsel happoned while I was unable to get online, so for a couple of days afterward when it was restored, it was like "Ok, something not right here..."

Course, they manage to do it at Averal, so I don't think it'd be that hard.
