Well I believed we need one of these. Now as you've probably all noticed with my mention of New York City this world is incredibly close to ours. Save for a few differences in evolution, so the Anasazi are the native americans, the goblins came from the middle east, gnomes from russia, gargoyles from africa, humans from western europe, the kitsune from china and japan and ghosts and zombies just appeared over time.

Also AB just because your in blind doesn't mean they would have posted your picture in the paper, since we are a secret organization we mostly don't let those things get printed, but if thats what you want your char to deal with I won't stop you.

Garud we don't have a technical hq, though when necessary we will meet in public parks, parking lots, rooftops wherever we believe we can have some anonymity. If you'd like choose the spot we're using now.

And IB, good use of the illusion, working a guy into hitting himself with a pipe is always hilarious.

And finally I was going to keep the rp relatively free form as you searched for Mime, unless you guys would rather I give you plot points to hit. And because I always forget something, you guys aren't really crimefighters, you're more leaning towards creating coup de'tats and assassinations not stopping petty theft.

And if anybody bothered to read mintaro's post you've probably realized you aren't starting out as the good guys. So.... heads up on that.

I'm hoping my wasting of a terrorist cell is more in line of what B.L.I.N.D. usually does.

It is toasty but in the end I just want to see if your characters will begin to ask the question of whether or not what they are doing is moral. Sure saving lives like you did is good, but is protecting humanity and only humanity from the other races ok.

But with mintaro's racist butt hanging with you, you might just decide its not.

Cool...moral struggles.

Maybe in the end they'll have two ex-B.L.I.N.D. members on the run...though not with each other.

The way I see Chester is a man who would perfer to be mericful, but finds himself in a situation where he had to be ruthless. On the other hand, from what you've shown about Mime, he appears to be the opposite: A ruthless being who finds that he must hold himself back from time to time.

I don't think the two would get along well. >_>;;

Well as you see the goal mime seeks far surpasses the cost of all the lives he must take. At least, in his mind they do.

I really just think that I want to put you guys through as many dilemmas as possible, and I didn't tell you that in the signup because I wanted your characters to be simple and then evolve over time.

before I forget, does a kitsune's powers of perception negate another one's power of illusion? Or does it depend on how skilled the Kitsune is on both ends?

It does not negate the powers of illusion it merely makes the flaws more easy to see, such as IB's wall. He created a wall from nothing, so the seems of the wall wouldn't match perfectly, nor would shadows. You would be able to notice these things more quickly then most, but it doesn't instantly appear to be a falsehood.

-----------------------

Alright and now for simplicity i'm going to start a list of npc's and what they are doing:

Senator Jack Albright - Cliche Dissenting Republican if there ever was one. He has money and prestige and won't give it up without a fight. Kind of a louse and womanizer but what republican isn't. (keep in mind i'm a repub myself... though I don't know why anymore.) Age- 49

Everett Evermore - Overly joyous assistant to Albright, his smile never wavers but does something sinister lie beneath it. Age- 27

Samuel Yamada - A youthful and risk-taking kitsune representative whom when the kitsune get the right to vote will most assuredly rise to a seat of power. With his american firstname and traditional last name he shows not only a second generation heritage in america but he has universal appeal to voters. Age- 16 kitsune equivilent of 35.

more to be added as we continue.

AB You don't have to worry about other teammat. You are essentially a rouge agent, a "splinter soldier", a bad ass with a "stand alone complex", You act without orders for the most part. Occasionally you get missions from the government but mostly you just do what you do best.
