So... what other forums/message boards do you visit on a regular basis? Here's my short list:

Eyes on Final Fantasy Forums (http://www.eyesonff.com/forums/) - Probably my first real message board, and the best Final Fantasy-related one I've seen.
Fool's Gold (http://216.97.98.128/forum/) - My current favorite forums, we talk about everything here. Books, RPGs, Games, The Meaning of Life, The Universe, and Everything... heck, we've even got crazy spam out the wazoo. Yeah, 'tis fun, if not very active.
Gaia Online (http://www.go-gaia.com) - The craziest phpBB hack ever created. Period. When you join you create a custom avatar... they're all chibi anime characters, and you customize the hair, eyes, and mouth. As you are active on the forums, you earn gold. You then use the gold to buy clothes for your avatar... oh, and there are random events where you get freebies, too. Yeesh. Unfortunately, it's stupid-popular... as in the most users ever online was 3,200 or so, and the most replied thread has over 200,000 replies. (If you do decide to join, just let 'em know Red Wizard sent ya. :P)
Palladium Books Forums (http://www.palladium-megaverse.com/forum/) - The official forums for Palladium books, the publishers of the RPGs Rifts, Palladium Fantasy, Heroes Unlimited, and Recon. Great stuff.
Anarchy Online Forums (http://forums.anarchy-online.com/) - The official forums for Anarchy Online, the MMORPG... unfortunately you need to be a paying player of the game to post there, but you can still read. ;)

So, yeah... that's what I've got. What about you all?

There has rarely been another forum for me besides 8-Bit, on and off, yes, but they never seem to have the staying power that this juggernaut has.

Plus, somehow 8-Bit has never got so out of control as some of the other webcomic forums around...

Just Avariel.net. Very roleplay centered. We're very newbie friendly. Just steer clear of the Break Room (unless you like pinecones). They're run by Shiney and RaiRai (yes, that Shiney and RaiRai.)

The Bad Candy (www.bad-candy.com) message board is really the only other board I post at.

I used to be on the Master of Orion 3 boards a bit, but then it was released, and I lost interest in the boards. So sad, really. Currently, I'm on the Adult Swim boards a bit. Then there's this one.

Well, there's only two forums I consistently hit.
BHLegend (http://www.bhlegend.com/forums): Though the main site is dedicated to abandonware*, the forum is mostly nothing more than the home for a dozen or two people who have nothing better to do. Occasionally somebody wanders on in, but they rarely last.

PlaybyWeb (http://www.playbyweb.com): Wellll...don't know if this really qualifies for a forum, as such. I mean, the site DOES have a forum...but it's mostly a message-board-based roleplaying site. I tend to just slap it in the forum category anyway.

* = Old games. Specifically, those old games you can't find in stores any more. Border-line illegal stuff mostly, but very few companies really care.

ohhh, man.... I completely forgot what my name was back in the old Delphi forums, but in the Infogrammes forum I was Dark Shooter. I was a demi-lurker, though, I think I only got 50 posts by the time the game went gold.

FFA (www.ffaddicts.com) is a damn good site that I've been a member of for a year now. Good people that take no shit, and love to talk about anything Final Fantasy, and then some. No spam, and no stupidity. Gotta love it. This site has been around for awhile and hopefully it'll be around for a bit longer yet. ^_^

RGamers (www.rgamers.com) is a relatively young site and I'm a mod there. *shrug* What can I say about it? It's a good site that covers just about any genre of RPG's. Still a young site that needs some members to come around and stay around...

Then there's VGcats' forums. I'm still a n00b there, so really don't have a big impression one way or the other as to it.

Blast RPG Forums (http://www.celestialvault.com/blast) is a great site. They have lots of roleplaying and gaming and I spend far more of my waking moments there than I should...
