And people say Thief never screws up.

Silly red mage, so much an Ice fanatic but never using it when it can actually help.

Was hoping to see some Fighter action. And Thief? Thief is a fucking loser.

By the way, absolutely love the title, since that is something I just said last week.

Y'know I love every bit of this plan. Therefore I shall call it: Plan Awesome 2.

Oh and the "Red Mage, you're our fractional genius..." is offically today's best line. That or "There are times when my sheer genius baffles even itself."

Nayno
08-16-2006, 11:23 PM
That's absurd. Fighter is the fractatical genius. It's here (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=041120), I tell you.

Unless fractactical and fractatical are two completely different words, that is.

"There's a part of this plan I don't like."
Simply splendid. Also, why did thief pick up on the turtle proofing, but not, oh say, flowers, petty cash, petty theivery, proof reading and whether or not?

Waylander

Maybe he's so used to putting in the other clauses when he is cheating people that he didnt noticed them in the bill. But he noticed the turtle proofing because it is one he doesnt use himself and thought wow a new clause i can use.

One question though did they seal up whereever the water was coming in before? or is the water just going out the plug hole?

I get the feeling this is all just a sneaky, underhanded plot to force Black Mage to take a bath! After a third bout with water in a short time span he might just smell something like bearable.

the ironic part would be that if it were really the spell components.

It IS his spell components. to wit (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=020807) last panel. Quid Quo Pro.

On another note, if they were to fire BM at the turtle, wouldn't the air sub fill with water again?

Gotta wonder what Fighter's up to...
I'm gonna be suggesting that as a solution to so many problems now...
"We're going to fire Black Mage at it."
Maybe he'll learn "me-doken." I dunno... hope so, though.

Or maybe BM will simply Goblin Punch the turtle after being shot out of the torpedo tube, again.

Poor BM--he can't catch a break with both hands.

I guess it's payback for all of the havok BM has wrought, though. :sweatdrop

Maybe we'll see an altered version of the bottom of this comic. (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=010530)

"I've got black magic, blue magic, a knife, a hair trigger and no fuse, BRING IT!"

Ryong
08-17-2006, 05:19 AM
I read the title and already was all like "Ok this is gonna be more awesome than normally."...And it was. Thief finnally getting owned, BM goes torpedo again... Just way too good.

BM asking RM to think of something... That doesn't feel quite right...

Anyway, if they indeed launch BM at the turtle, perhaps it's Blue Magik learning time!

I don't generally guess at stuff like this. But, since everyone else is doing it, I'll hold all of your hands as we jump off this bridge together. :)

I see one of two possible outcomes:

1> Whatever it is Fighter is up to, it'll happen before they get the chance to fire BM at the turtle.

2> They fire BM at the turtle. He'll get rid of it and probably learn some kind of useless or self-destructive blue magic from it (remember, the world revolves around harming BM). Then we'll spend three more comics getting BM back inside.

...Red Mage's plan is to use Black Magedoken on the turtle?

If any of the Light Warriors is qualified to become a missile, it's Black Mage. He's the pointiest.

Nice comic and I loved the interview.
I steal everything that I have and I'm a horrible person for it.I was laughing on the floor listening to this.

This reminds me of an inside joke me and my freinds have about haveing a sex change on the back of a turtle...

Yes they were THAT fucked up.

..really? I was sad when I heard that it was all steering towards an ending without firmer plans for another, perhaps even the sequels.

As for the comic, it almost seems like they are actually forming a team. Wow.

It *is* highly suspicious that Fighter`s been gone for all this time. You`d think that they`d follow the boy every so often. :D

Just saw the interview, you know I'm going to hope Brian was talking about Contact (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contact_%28video_game%29), Because, really that's about the only thing that could make me more excited about that game than I already am. Plus it's the only DS RPG being currently localised that fits.

I hope I haven't missed some secret site announcement and that's why no one's talking about it.

Oh, Brian, you horrible, horrible person, you. When SOMEONE WHO IS NOT YOU brought up the DS thing, I was all, 'HOCRAP I NEED A DS NOW.'

That was the weirdest camera guy ever.

Brian, I also saw your interview (like many others), and I thank you dearly for allowing many people (but especially me) to hear your voice for the very first time. I also thank you for giving tips on webcomicing, as I hope to become a horrible webcomic author like you, steal your style, and make lots of money off of it BUT I PROBABLY WON'T BECAUSE I'M TOTALLY BEING SARCASTIC AND I'M DOING THIS IN JEST JUST TO SEE IF YOU WILL FIND IT FUNNY.
But seriously, I hope that in time I will become a good (yet at the same time horrible) webcomic author.

Also, is that how you really pronounce your name? Brian Cle-vin-jer?

Corporate Evil

"There's no specific answer to that question, internet."

Brian clearly should become the president's press secretary.

I just watched the video in the news post. Brian sounds and acts exactly like my uncle. Its almost creepy. Also, Brian is as funny in person as in print. "Scott of VG cats who is over there behind that banner and you can't see him because he hates us and he's a jerk."
Heh. "Sound proofing. Turtle Proofing. Proof Reading."

Y'know, Brian, you come off to me (in this initial viewing, at any rate) a tiny bit like "Weird Al" Yankovic.

...

In a good way! Remember, he rocks. But maybe it's just the shirt leading me to this conclusion.

He lives in Florida, doesn't he? I think it's law to wear a tropical flowery shirt down there.
