Yeah, it's a mideival RP. It'll be fun! It'll be fantastic! It'll be knights slaying dragons while sorcerors drag demons from the bottem depths of hell to do their bidding while thieves raid the royal treasuries! Good times will be had by all.
Now, there isn't much of a setting for this one. The King of Illvan has declared war on the land of Gillnor. The King of Gillnor sent his soldiers out to defend the borders, but as such is short-handed for other things inside the country. You can't drag soldiers miles away from a battle simply to kill a dragon, then send them right back, can you? So, he's sent messengers to any and all well-known individuals in the country, requesting their attendance at a royal meeting.
Now, this is where you all come in. You will be the gifted individuals. Keep in mind, this doesn't mean you'll be some homeless guy they found lying beneath a bridge. You'll be a sorcerous hermit that keeps to himself in an ancient tower. You'll be a brave knight, likely a general of a legion or two. You'll be a rogue that knows the land inside and out. You, sir and/or madame, are special.
As such...do pretty much whatever you want for a character. HOWEVER!!!! All characters are up for GM approval. I can, and WILL, enforce my right to say yes or no to any character, and you, as the player, will have to bite it if I say no. I'm giving you a lot of freedom here, so don't make me regret it.
Now, for the profile:

Skills: (Any magic or special skills they know go here)
Weapons: (Their weapons go here)
Equipment: (Anything other than the weapons go here)
Quirks: (Is he afraid of the dark? Is he part demon? Let us know here)

Yay! Old DnD character time.
Name: Raine Silvermane
Age: 36 (Appears 21)
Race: Humanoid Half-Fiend
Sex: Female
Profession: Demon-Slayer
Appearance: 5'8" 134lbs, White, with long light blue hair, and red eyes. Fingernails curve into razor claws. Small curved horns adorn her forehead, concealed by a wide-brimmed black hat, worn in conjunction with her black longcoat, and pants. Athletic build, but not overly so.
Skills: Elditch Blast, a ray-like demonic energy attack. Poor damage, good range and accuracy, casts quickly. Less of a spell, more of an innate ability. Can be channeled through weapon, but not as part of a combo.
Some natural resistance to mundane weapons and elements, particularly fire.
Increased strength and toughness.
Weapons: Baphomet's Revenge: a minorly enchanted silver longsword for increased alacrity and to offset silver's innate weaknesses as a metal. Also carries a crossbow slung over her back, with several bolts. Typical demon-hunter fare.
Equipment: Stakes, Carefully sealed Holy Water, Alchemical Fire (Gel, ignite on contact with air, generally applied to weapons), Length of chain, Manacles, Torch, Theive's tools of various makes and uses.
Quirks: Well, she *is* a half-demon.
Bio: Born of an unwilling union of demon and human, Raine Silvermane never had much of a normal family life. However, to say she never had a family life at all would be a mistake. Orphaned at birth and being taken in by a warlock of less-than-noble aims, Raine lived a life that one would at the very least consider questionable. Stealing or even killing for a living, the half-fiend girl was especially wracked by her dual nature during her adolescence, a horrifying experience of near-unbearable confusion. With her mother slain shortly after her birth, Raine had never knew her father except through the babbling madness of the warlock who had cared for her. Terrified by what she had heard through his maniac gibberings, and unwilling to be used for the insane man's aims, Raine killed the evil sorceror who had schooled her, and resolved to take the lives of others like him. Now a mildly renowned demon-hunter of Gillnor, Raine would inevitably be one of the ones on the King's list of draftees.
Subject to change. Additional cleanliness pending.

Name: Thomas Allthorn
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: 6'2", 240 lbs., piercing blue eyes and stylish blonde hair. Wears his white and silver-laced armor almost constantly, with his shield strapped to his back and his sword at his hip. Around his neck is a long white and gold cape that seems to never get dirty or wet. It has a grand picture of an archangel tearing the head from a demon on it.
Skills: -Holy Beam: After making a few hand signals, Thomas is able to send a powerful beam of holy magic bursting from his palms. This attack can only damage tainted individuals (demons, undead, etc) or non-living objects.
-Everlasting Shield: If Thomas is holding a shield of any kind, he can instill it with power so that it repels any magical attack. However, the magical attack must strike the shield in order to be repelled, and the object Thomas holds must be a shield of some kind.
-Symbiosis: Thomas is able to merge with the angel in his cape, granting him wings for flight, enhanced armor or an enhanced sword, etc.
Weapons: Blade of God (a silver and steel sword, enchanted only slightly to be unbreakable)
Equipment: Shield of the Divine (A mundane shield made of white steel and gold), Cape of the Angelic Divination (a cape that is possessed by a powerful archangel)
Quirks: While Thomas himself doesn't lean towards hostility at first, the angel in his cape lives for the death of demons. It has a tendency to strike out, wrapping around a demon or attempting to strangle it.

Eh, rewrote a loved old profile of a game that died. Maybe I'll get to play through this time!
Name: Tayuumi Gestalph
Age: 24
Sex: Lacking in the dangly bits between teh legs.
Race: Half Wiccan, Half SHADOW DEMON, RAWR!
Appearance: You want to know? You really want to know? Well, then:
http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/4331/097rs.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Clad in an ebon armor of what one could only assume is steel, the young half demoness wears a head of golden locks that fall down below her shoulder blades.
What's more noticeable about her appearance, atleast in personal range, are her eyes which seem to flucuate with her mood. When typically angry, they turn a more darting shade of red, whereas when calm, her eyes well be a swirling blue. More emotions depict more colors, sometimes mixed feelings showing with a psychadelic hue, but let's be sure that she isn't very good at lying.
Skills: Shadow Crafting.
It is her one, truely epitomized skill and power. As long as there is an inkling of light and a breath of energy, Tayuumi has the ability to craft what is the absence of real into the hardest of real. The most noteable is the afforementioned armor and her blade...which will be addressed all too soon. It's feats will be displayed as she shows them, Raiden is fully aware, so nyeh!
Next comes her power of Shadow in its unreality and premaking. Shadow and light are one in the same, compareable opposites that always affect one another. Their most prominent means of affect on the average person is sight. Tayuumi controls this light and sight, distorting view and being able to create elaborate illusions, mostly of her own body to decept her opponents.
But, such massive tampering is draining, even to the highest of energetic people, and overuse will take its toll...if the fight would last as long.
Extra: She also has a generous supply of stamina. The Demoness Warrior nearly never being seen tired, unless pushed far beyond the feasible brink.
Weapons: And comes the most eye catching feat of non natural appearance Tayuumi has: her massive sword. A claymore, spanning the height of her entire body when pivoted on its tip straight up, the great weapon seems completely unwieldy, and it is, unless you have the kind of attunement Tayuumi does.
Unbeknownest to her, the soul of her mother rests in her blade, making it easier to swing, almost effortless, and augmenting her shadowcrafting power through the sword. Solidfying the effect of the shadowry improvemets without any more energy output, until she loses contact or wills it away.
Equipment: Anything that she shadow crafts. Her armor is a major applicable here, as it self reforms of her own power, though not will, and is nearly weightless to herself.
Also, Supplies. For the traveller, it's needed.
Quirks: Quirks can be summed up with, well, she's a bitch. You'll understand through progression, just be warned, she's not friendly too people.
Oh, and she has a genocidist conviction against Demons. Only under the most EXCRUCIATING of circumstances will she not attack a demon.
Bio: Reason why she does this is, to her knowledge, her mother was raped, impregnanted and mortally, but slowly to death plagued by a demon of shadow. That demon being Tayuumi's father, the true story remains unknown to her or anyone else...save only a few.
For the players knowledge only, it was truly a romantic cliche, as the holy wiccan fell in love for the kind hearted and warm souled Shadow demon. Though, in these times, diseases are all too harsh and impossible to cure, even with a holiness keeping your body on its path. This wiccan gave birth to Tayuumi, naming her after some western words her well travelled lover had taught her.
But, a demon could not raise a child, could not watch out and with her. He knew that once his lover died, the child would not be able to travel with his kind, the survivor of the dark.
So, through a weave of white lies, the father and mother set up the hoax of the rape and abandonment, giving Tayuumi her drive to live and be strong in this dangerous world. And later, once her mother's time was nearing its end, the wiccan had bound her soul to the weapon of her shadow demon lover. Through a weak body she held a powerful soul, and she wanted to keep this strength with Tayuumi.
And, with that, Tayuumi's father returned in the elborate ruse and resetting of her life. He struck down her mother, completeing the soul containing ritual, a holy spirit bound in a wicked blade in apparel.
Then, the father let the ruse continue, letting Tayuumi's anger overwhelm her and giving the binding of the sword to her, the blade now forming in her hands. With a massive strike, she cut down her father, or atleast she believes as much, as his body was split in twain to her eyes, but only by the Shadow Master's illusionary prowess.
To this day she swears she won't let another innocent, good person be defiled by the likes of the demon brood. A genocidist, misconcepted conviction with good intent.

Name: Hunpher Gorwick
Age: Thirty-four
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Five foot two, something like one hundred forty pounds. Looks about eighty, presumably due to a botched experiment or something. Long white hair, long beard, wrinkles, et cetera. Various visible scars on his face and hands, several of which get extra-squeamish people cringing when they see them. (Bad for his medical practice, really.) Still has the overall physique of a thirty-four-year old that exercises a lot, but it only shows when he's actually doing something. Otherwise he looks like a little old man. Dark red clothes, green eyes.
Skills: Healing! Mainly mundane stuff one would expect from a physician, but also occasional dabbling in the arcane. All in all, the best healer in the kingdom (maybe the world), both for speed and success rate, not to mention his universalist medical practice -- everything from surgery to disease to veterinarian stuff. Due to his constant healing practices and vigorous exercise, he has unusually quick biological healing processes and can cure himself quite effectively. Believed by some to be an empath, mostly because of his keen sense for reading people's expressions, voices, behaviors, et cetera. Also a competent fighter with most "traditional" medieval weapons.
Weapons: Primarily a short sword. Also carries a sword cane (short, slightly flimsy, lightweight blade, kinda stiletto-esque and rapier-ish) and a quarterstaff.
Equipment: Still has shield, helmet, and custom-made chain mail and limb plating from his military service. Also has an Elven Cloak of Stealth that both plays tricks with peoples' eyes and is thick enough to resist some weaker piercing and slashing attacks. Of course, he also carries his pack of medical gear with him wherever he goes.
Quirks: Pretends to have a limp so he can carry his sword cane with him. Lets people believe he's a feeble old man because it amuses him. Honorably discharged from the military years back; doesn't miss it. Fairly well-off thanks to his thriving medical practice -- not Mister Mega-rich or anything, but he can pay the bills.

Call of the Wild: Through his closeness with nature, Tyrrine can speak the language of the animals, They can also be summoned to help him in times of need.
Natures call: Like the animals the plants also speak to Tyrrine, Enabeling him to know what has happend in the area, This has made him a great tracker.
Mothers Wrath: This is his most powerful ability, He is able to turn the earth it's self against an attacker, Plants entangle and whip at enemies, Bogs appear as if from nowhere. This power takes alot out of Tyrrine and he must eat and sleep not long after using it.

Name: Faze Thorough.
Age: 25 (Gasp! A normal age!)
Sex: Yes...errr, Male.
Race: Looks almost Elven, Some Demon heritage, for most part human.
Appearance: Slightly pointy ears, Rich brown hair that is short on the front, yet long in a ponytail in the back. Wears green and brown outdoor clothes, with brown gloves for various uses, and simple shoes
Skills: Spearmanship, Fire Magic, and a martial art similar to judo/hapkido.
Powahs: When he becomes angry, the flame on his spear becomes greater and he's capable of some superhuman feats, namely some Dragoonesque jumps, greater strength, and faster. Technically, the jumps are a mix of his speed and strength, but eh. This can either be his own power, or a side effect of the spear.
Weapons: Crimson flame, a long metal/wood pole with a jagged blade at the end, that burns with it's owner's Passion.
Equipment: Medium stone: Senses malevolent intent, and allows for communication with spirits.
Quirks: He's of the Pyrosian lineage in this era, but knows only basic fire magic and prefers his spear. He's also the only Pyrosian who uses a spear/ gun dao instead of a sword.
If anyone cares, the Lineage goes somewhat like this: Furyn, Pyros, Jeros, Hinako (also called Beben),Efreet, Sahares, Task/Rose, Saki, Degos/Degas, Firenze, Kings, Malben, Fayte, Fade, Faze, Samuel/PotionMaster, Demon/Deemed, Kat,Charles, Veronica, James.
As for actual personality quirks, he's fond of whine whenever the chance, a bit lazy, and can't stand to remain in one place very long. Also, has bad luck with all women, from romance to pure chance, and will try to avoid them at all costs.
Story: Wanders the land, searching for Lost relics of his family, and adventure.

Heh. I decided to bring an old story character back for this RP.
Name: Curua
Age: unknown
Sex: male
Race: Probably a powerful human sorcerer at one time. He doesn't like to discuss it, though. Currently, he's trapped in the form of a dog or wolf.
Appearance: Curua appears to be a large wolfish creature, standing at about two and a half feet at the shoulder. He has dark brown fur and wears a silver collar.
Skills: Strength and Endurance: Curua has been trapped in this doggy shape long enough to have mastered his four-legged form and is as swift, agile, and strong as a wolf.
Tracking: He's a dog. He can sniff out trails n' stuff.
Earth Magic: For some reason, Curua seems to have a command of earth-based elemental magics.
Loyalty: The collar Curua wears forces him to protect and serve those around him. That doesn't mean he has to like it, though, and it certainly doesn't mean he has to do it with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
Weapons: Teeth, claws.
Equipment: Collar: Curua wears an enchanted collar that keeps him in line. The collar is forged of pure silver and it engraved with magical runes. It restrains him and holds together the spell that keeps him in dog form. It would probably be incredibly dangerous, and incredibly stupid, for someone to take the collar off of him.
Quirks: Curua is an unwilling servant of the crown. He was turned into this form completely against his will for some past misdeed, and it was meant as a punishment. He resents it immensely and does everything he can to fight back. This means that although he has to follow orders and protect others, he intends to do so in a way that causes the most annoyance to those around him. He can talk, and he does so often, usually to complain or make some snide remark.
Bio: Little is known about Curua's "pre-canine" life, other than the fact that he was incredibly powerful and royally screwed up somehow. As punishment, the king (Not the current king; one of his ancestors. What? Curua's old!) ordered him to be restrained. The result was that Curua was given his current form and was sealed inside it by way of the silver collar. An unwilling but obeying servant, Curua is often ordered to accompany groups of warriors in dangerous or difficult missions.

Meh, no problem
Name: Little Brother the Crow
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: about 6'4" muscular, albino, extremely scarred from head to toe, missing left ear and first two fingers on left hand, shoulder length, straight hair, wears black steel-mithril alloy full plate, nonspiked, crafted as replica of his body, wears helm resembling a black bull's head with actual bull horns. Carries sword on back in half sheath, wraps horns in cloth soaked in lamp oil, wears black, crow feathered robes when not in full armor, has crow feathered demon-hide dust mask for desert trips.
Skills: Intimidation: It's kinda something that goes with the body, but it's just something I felt almost obligated to put in.
Weapons: a greatsword
Quirks: Will die before he surrenders in combat or compromise his honor.
Bio: Little Brother was born last in a family of fifteen sons in a desert village somewhat popular among merchants for its expertly trained warriors who fought for pennies and could keep an entire caravan alive in the harshest of temperatures. His parents named him Gurn, but his brothers always simply called him Little Brother. As time went by, Little Brother spent less and less time with his mother, who was the only one of his parents to call him Gurn, and more time either learning to fight at the barracks, or working in the fields. Everybody either called him Little Brother or Boy, so he simply left his given name behind. At sixteen, Little Brother was sent through a rigorous graduation that ruined him, both physically and mentally. At the end, he was tasked with killing a minor demon and some animal to make his dust mask. When he returned to the village, his white head hidden behind a dust mask which covered his entire head and had crow feathers sewn into it, he was then granted his warriorship and title. When he left his village with a trade caravan at twenty, he was commanded by the village elders to not return until he had done something truly great to bring honor to his family. Upon finishing the caravan mission, Little Brother became a mercenery, killing a crow after every successful mission and sewing their pelts into clothing. He's not done many great things, but he's done a great many small things for good reason. He would fight any war if it could bring honor to him and his family.
GARUD
08-24-2006, 09:23 AM
Name: Garud
Age: 20 000 + 20 years old (will be explained in the bio)
Sex: sure, why not? What? I didn't say "yes please", okay? Alright, Male. Happy now?
Race: Human
Appearance: He has pitch black hair which hangs at shoulder length at the back, and hangs over his right eye over the front. It is sloppy, but fals around his ears on the side. His ears are reasonable sized, and his nose is slightly bulky. His eyes are grey in colour, and seemed in perfect alignment with his head, which is narrower, but longer than average.
He wears a black tunic, a white cape with a griffin on it and black trousers that stop short of his ankle. He wears leather boots and leather gloves, and a mysterious pendant around is neck. He also has an emerald ring on his middle finger on his left hand. His body is medium build, fairly muscular but not overtly. He weighs 145 pounds and is 6'1 in height.
Skills:
Summoning: He has the ability to summon various guardians that he finds along his travels. He can obtain these guardians by enhanced crystals and harnessing their powers.
Summoner Meld: He can fuse with the summon to add some enhancements, but doing so will add on features depending on the summon itself.
Holy Purity: This allows the user to participate in a ritual to remove all traces of a negative essence, curing posession or by removing the person's heriatage. However, the person it is cast on must be actively willing to accept the changes.
(note: I will depend on the GM to decide what summons I get, both starting with and what I get along the way.)
Weapons: He uses a mysterious sword that glows an unnatural green colour. He also has a staff draped across his back with strange green gems embedded inside.
Equipment: He has a pendant, with one large jewel. It is the source of his summoning power and is linked to all of the other jewels in his equiptment.
Quirks: He has an inane ability for people to open up to him, however, doing so forces him to carry everybody elses personal burdens.
Personality: He is a quiet person. Not very talkative, but very empathetic, and a great listener, he always looks for the good in people, no matter how bad they seem. He has a high standard of morals, and is conservative. Despite being a young adult, he is still very innocent, although still realistic to a degree.
Bio: Born in a summoners tribe 20 000 years ago, he was a simple person with simple needs. Food, water, shelter... and an education. He lived in a society that was dependant on the summons that were conjured. Farmers summoned Golems and Large beasts to plow the fields. Cooks summoned fire entities and salamanders to cook their food. Disposal people used their Abyss summons to dispose of their waste. All in all, life was good.
At the age of three he went toward the great Bahamut temple with his family, on a summoned Knightmare. There he examined each of the wall paintings, each which depicted one of the greater summons. The summons that watched over the village. Garud walked around, examining the incencse, the furniture, and a statue. In the statue were two green jewels. He became fixated with them. He went to the temple every day after that, just to see them... those crystals saved his life.
At the age of 5 he studied at a summoning school, specialising in defense, arcane control, herbal and dragon studies. Every day after school he would come back to the temple and observe the statue. He never touched it though.
At the age of 18, he learnt how to summon, and he did so well, making plant creatures and other less devilish creatures. Still, he felt something was missing from his sumoning life. Deciding to see what it was, he entered the temple. For the first time, he touched the Bahamut statue. In a flash of light, the temple was in ruins. There was no statue even. Just the jewels. In fact, the whole village was gone. Somehow, the statue had preserved him for about 20 000 years, while the village had perished. He knew that he was not in the time he was last concious in anymore.
Garud travelled to world for two years, trying to gather summons and trying to do good deeds for people. He learnt much about the world around him.
If it needs changes, please inform me.
EDIT: Used colour to make it look better.

Don't know why I'm going with this, but what the hell.
Name: Dirk Vale
Age: 59 (looks 28)
Sex: Male
Race: Steel Golem with a Human Soul
Appearance: Dirk looks like a pretty normal 28 year old man… except every part of him is made of steel. He’s six feet tall, looks pretty normal in shape and his body being completely gray and metallic makes him stand out rather easily. Normally he wears some pretty average clothes, complete with a hooded cloak.
Skills: Steelshifting- A bit of a plus side to Dirk’s body is that it’s pretty malleable when he wants it to be. When he takes a bit of time to will it, he can change the shape of his limbs into something weapon-like (sword arms, hammer hands, blah, blah, blah) or useful (cables, chains, shields, etc). While he could use the metal from his whole body, he finds it faster and easier just to use his arms and legs.
Reformation- Dirk can actually piece himself back together from most damage thanks to a special enchantment in his metal. He can even piece himself back together if he’s been shattered, but his pieces need to be together and he needs about a week without any disturbances at all. And any metal that he takes into himself HAS to originally have been in him. Otherwise, he’ll be missing that piece of himself permanently. The only way to fix this would be to have someone enchant scraps of steel exactly as the rest of him is… which, needless to say, would be a bit tough. Melting the metal is also a problem he wouldn’t really want to deal with, but has been lucky enough to not experience it.
Strength and Endurance- He’s pretty strong, but he’s not really too superhuman. He’s really just stronger than a human in general He’d also durable because… well, he’s made of solid steel. Not much to that, really. Plus, since he doesn’t really have any organs or anything, he doesn’t really get tired. He can rust though, so that’s really a problem if it starts.
Weapons: Himself …or a lot of steel, if you prefer
Equipment: A lot of polishing oil and a small tent for when it rains.
Quirks: He’s afraid of rusting again, so he HATES water, which means he won’t even TRY to go onto a ship or boat, let alone anything else water-related.
Bio: Before becoming what he is right now, Dirk was a blacksmith and craftsman. It was a decent life, not exactly the best, but something he could do. Until, of course, he got his last job. A sorcerer interested in animating inanimate objects wanted a well-crafted steel body. It was an… interesting request, but it was paying well enough to do. It took a while, but Dirk managed to craft it as well as he could, making the sorcerer content.
Then, things got weird. His method of animating the object called for injecting a soul, and he had a soul contained in an object with him, just for the occasion (A “soul in a jar” Dirk called it). The funny thing was, even with all the preparation and precautions, the sorcerer’s spell managed to backfire and find the wrong target… using Dirk’s soul instead. So, after a brief period of being unconscious (or something like it), Dirk woke up inside a metal body. The sorcerer was fascinated that it had actually worked, but displeased by the fact that the wrong soul had been used and rushed off before Dirk could say anything about putting his soul back into his body. After that, he just stood looking at a mirror for a long while, wondering what the fuck had just happened, and why his face was slowly changing into the shape of the face on his fleshy body.
Before long, he was able to accept the fact that he was now just a giant chunk of living metal that could somehow change shape just through his own will. However, it was still pretty strange, because the heat from his forge would probably melt him… something he would exactly want. So, he went out into the world, eventually becoming a fighter of sorts.
Along the way, due to formerly being in a fleshy body, he started to rust. Rather badly, too. His whole body started becoming that classic rusty brown color… but he was also slowly losing all that he was made up of. Fearing what would happen before long, he developed a phobia of all things made up of liquids. So, after getting rid of the problem, he started carrying various polishing oils and tents in an attempt to avoid the problem in the future.
Now just to work out how I'm actually gonna play that...

08-25-2006, 12:27 PM
Name: Sadron
Age: 132
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: Sadron has completly white hair, with what looks like a 5' oclock shadow, just as white. His eyes looked like they were once blue, but are turning white themselves. He is draped in a cloak that hides everything else about his body. The cloak too is white, hanging off what looks like a weakened frame, not by magic, but by age. For those who look close enough, they can see he wears white dragon boots when he floats.
Skills: Sadron is a psionic, who specializes in telekinetics. He has gotten used to using telekinetics so much that he doesn't seem to use his own body anymore. He has other mind powers, telepathy and such, but he rarely uses them.
Weapons: He is accompanied by a suit of armor that weilds a giant axe. The armor seems to move almost second nature, without any focus from Sadron, yet it is clear he uses his power to move it.
Equipment: In truth, he wears an entire suit of dragon armor, since his own body is incapable of defending itself anymore.
Quirks: None yet.
Bio: Sadron, a name that many know, yet few realize who he is. He is a man of great honor, having fought in more wars than anyone should have. In his age, many think it would be best he stayed away from war, resting in his established tower, and living the rest of his life doing whatever he does in that tower. Yet he has anwsered the call to war.
Though in the beginning, Sadron wasn't always the mage he was. In his youth, he joined the army, wanting to establish himself as a warrior. Not long after joining, war was declared, and Sadron, just like every soldier, fought in that war. In truth, it was this war that lead him to discover his gift, his power that will allow him to become great. He was in a force that was trying to take back a lost fort, and when they set the place on fire, a single man walked out of the fort and challenged them.
The man shot out a psionic blast, slinging everyone around. Well, everyone except Sadron. It seemed that somehow Sadron had managed to block the attack. He charged the psionic, breaking up his attack. As he engaged the psionic, his opponent realized the raw power he possessed. And instead of sticking around to fight, he fled, attempting to save his life. Sadron has no idea what happened to that psionic, but the taking o the fort was put on Sadron's shoulders, along with the honor, and a good share of the wealth the psionic left behind.
After the war, Sadron decided to use the money he gained to learn about psionics. He found a mentor, and paying him well, learned everything he could about psionics. After the mentor had taught him what he could, Sadron moved on to other ways of studying. Libraries, artifacts, shoot even fighting bandits and such with his gifts helped him understand his power more.
Though, history must repeat itself, and another war broke out. Sadron returned to the army, his achievements allowing him to take a higher position. Under his command, his forces won battle after battle. Due to his impressive records of victory, he climbed the military ladder quite quickly, and by the end of the war was only two steps away from commanding the entire army.
His command didn't go unnoticed either. He was given quite a large amount of gold for his actions, and was given the recognition of being the one that lead them to victory. With the honor of winning a war with him, Sadron set out to set himself up a place, for old age had gotten too him, and maybe he was ready to retire.
He had a tower built, and had moved in there. For the longest time, he could be seen leaving the tower for up to years on end and coming back with treasures and items some thought never existed. No one was quite sure how he was able to attain such items. But no matter what, it was rumored that he had attained quite a fortune at his old age.
No one else is quite sure how he has lived this long either. Perhaps it is the exposure to all the magical devices he has, but whatever the reason, he has anwsered the call to war again. Though for a curious reason he has instead chose to fight it at a warrior, and not as a leader. None are quite sure why this is, but yet that is what is happening. There are mixed feelings as well, as why would an ancient war hero go fight in this war? Yet others are inspired that he fights even now. Though whatever the reason, he has joined in the war.

Name: Sulme (Sul-may)
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: Slight, pale and youthful, Sulme seems not entirely of this world. She seems washed of colour, white skin, pale blue-grey hair and silvery eyes. When not cloaked in illusionary splendor, Sulme's garments are simply cut robes of white and grey.
Skills:
Illusionist: Sulme is a mage and her greatest ability lies in the crafting of illusion. Her talent in shaping the unreal is very strong - she can create things that actually have a physical existence. Anything truely permanent takes a great deal of power however. Lesser illusions can be quite complex, the least are mere images while the stronger ones can create at least the illusion of an effect for a time. This ability also rapidly shades into enchantments and mental influence, both of which Sulme is also skilled at. Sulme has used her illusionary skill to create Dragon, a simulcrum of a dragon sustained by her magic.
Weapons: Dreamweave Staff- Sulme has a reservoir of magical power in her staff that she can tap in an emergency and the staff also acts as a magical conduit to help focus her spells. It is actually wrought from a dream; an illusion given permanent reality.
Equipment: Sulme's staff is the only real magical artifact she carries upon her person aside from minor talismans.
Quirks: They say she is not completely sane, calling her Sulme the Mad, though not to her face. This is not without good cause for she has lost her heart. Sulme's very heart and soul have a deep flaw in them, a portion torn out by her own hand from direst need. No-one knows that Sulme has done this or the reasons behind it. Her power has grown since then and it is not unrelated to this. It also coincides with the creation of Dragon, for she has hidden her heart in him for safekeeping.
She has difficulty relating to people - she was a gifted, isolated prodigy at illusion crafting from a young age and never had much social interaciton. The loss of her heart has only worsened this. Even her illusionary pet comes across as more sociable.
Sulme has acquired infamy for her erratic behaviour, but she is simply too skilled a mage for others wishing to make use of her ability to not turn a blind eye to her eccentricities.
Dragon
Description: Actually an extraordinarily complex illusion, Dragon serves as a protector to Sulme. He appears as a smallish dragon, about the size of a horse or bull. Slightly sinister with shiny black scales marked by a hint of iridiscence he is unshakably loyal to Sulme for she holds his continued existence in her fragile hands. If she did not devote mana to sustaining him, he would simply cease to exist. His main purpose is not as a protector or an experiment but as a safe hiding place for Sulme's heart as she can not take it back into herself. Some have suspected Dragon is more than he appears.
Abilities: The standard dragon repertoire - fiery breath, sharp teeth and claws, the ability to fly and an armoured hide.

Alright, time for the GM Machete! PF and Mes were the first two with half-demons, so they're allowed to stay that. Everyone else...no more half-demons.
PF- You're good.
Mes- You're good...I just want more concrete descriptions of her shadow powers. I don't want random shadow creations appearing whenever too often.
Skyshot- He's 34 years old...and apparantly one of the best healers in the world. Alright, I'll bite. I'd assume, however, that spending that much time practicing medecine would have greatly eaten his weapons training. As such...loose some weapons. And I do expect him to be avoiding fights, since I don't see this guy being a favored fighter.
Tarrin- Meh. It's alright. Though that Mothers Wrath ability....I'll be watching that closely.
PyrosNine- It's good. Though I'd like more defined Fire powers. Seeing how Pyros tends to blow up massive areas...I'd like to just make sure that doesn't seep over into other characters. :P
Mauve- Seems good to me. I'd prefer he WASN'T a demon before being put into the dog form, but eh.
dementedmongoose- Wow...your profile managed to dull my GM machete slightly. Alright, no half-demon. That's kind of self-explained. Also, a giant fighter guy has incredible charisma as a skill? That seems kind of just thrown in there, especially since your bio shows no way that would have come around. Also, for what reason would he want to help with the country, and honestly, why would the king want you? It sounds like your character has done a bunch of dumb stuff, and honestly...you'd be seen as more a liability than a help to the group. Just change some stuff around, and I'll give it another look over.
Garud- Hmmm....melding with summons huh? That power sounds familiar. Where have I seen that before? I know it was somewhere....oh right! *points to Thomas profile* The summoner thing is alright. I'm just not big on skills that are pretty much exact copies of other people's powers. Yeah...
Lazy- Creative...interesting...approved.
IC- ....uber national hero given anything he desired? That's rarely given to anyone. I'm fine with the character's abilities and such. The bio just seems to be wanting. Work on his bio, for nothing else but my own sanity.
Arhra- Tentative approved. Like the profile and such. But again...lots of room for random shit to be pulled out of nowhere. Approved for now, but I'll keep an eye on her, and restrict her if stuff seems to be getting too out of control.

Regarding the age thing, I was originally gonna go for an old guy (as part of an inside joke), but realized he'd have to fight a little so I made him younger. Then, I wrote him to be just a physician, but I noticed your emphasis on "you are special" in the opening post, so I just pumped it up.
Also, I dropped most of the weapons, reduced the usefulness of the sword cane by a lot, and changed "misses it occasionally" to "doesn't miss it." He was never going to be the best fighter in the group to begin with, just able to defend himself if necessary. (The alternative being a one-man version of this (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0077.html).) And "competent" is meant to be quite inferior to "masterful."

Raiden, don't worry. It's not a copy of your character's ability. The way I interpret it, your character gets some abilities, instead of the cloak, while mine does not get anything, rather he gives powers to the summons. Trust me, I would never copy anybody elses work, except possibly the names if I could not think up a better one *coughcoughBahamutcoughcough*.
Which reminds me. I've still got to think up a couple of sumons to start with and work my way through to get more.

Well, Good Raiden, her powers in more descript are:
Shadow: Illusionary. She can affect what other's see in regards to her and things close to her.
Take her blade of instance. By affecting how the light reflects, she will make it appear as though her attack comes from some other angle, with a bit of dabblery in her magic.
Shadow Crafting: Again, a personal level power. Her general limit to her sword is an extended blade of shadow equal to twice the length of the regular blade. She is able to shape this type of shadow with the most ease, almost fast enough to make it a sweeping like attack when moved through will.
Her armor is a constant thing unless her will comes in to play to remove it. She's basically preattuned to forming armor that's as light as a feather and as dureable as steel. It also regenerates, so to say, when parts are destroyed.
Aside from that, she can give a burst of power to somewhat move pieces of conjured shadow, but little more than a quick movement or spasm, in regards to motion. Another main asset is to form pseudo shadow limbs that can perform one, full limb enable motion before fading, less she pay more energy to retain.
Her crafting doesn't go far out of personal space area, unless it's her sword, which far extends past that barrier.

Well Raiden, I'll work on the bio, and change things around here, but I do want him to have high recognition, a good fortune, and overall what looks like a war hero. I thicken it up here so that its not on levels of uberness, but you will have to give me a bit to ponder on it.
EDIT: Okay, I spiced it up a bit, and made it sound less ubery.

As for actual personality quirks, he's fond of whine whenever the chance, a bit lazy, and can't stand to remain in one place very long. Also, has bad luck with all women, from romance to pure chance, and will try to avoid them at all costs.
Man, I just smile whenever I see that.
Name: Carus Diligo
Alias: Mereo
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Race: Angel
Appearance: Carus has mid-length crimson hair that falls freely around his relatively handsome face, and dark blue eyes that seems to be focused on the whole world at once. With a complexion darker than most people he's easier to spot than other people-even if someone were to miss the pair of large white wings sprouting from his shoulder blades.
Carus' garments are composed of blue fitted trousers, a white shirt, and a long-sleeved orange tunic over that which extends slightly beyond the waist. Hard sole moccasins are worn instead of regular shoes, and he has a pair of gloves with metal plates on the back of the hands.
Skills:
Speed - Simply put, he's the ninja of the knights.
Summon Weapon - There's a rune enscribed on the back of his right hand that allows him to summon Letum to his side.
Weapons:
Letum - This weapon was originally just a simple long handled Warhammer, but its metal has been enchanted to be much lighter. About as long as Mereo himself is tall, it also has a spike on the opposite side of the head, and at the bottom of the handle so that (if Mereo desired) it could be used as a spear.
Equipment: Aside from his clothes, money and supplies, he doesn't usually carry much with him.
Quirks: Carus may be an angel, but he has grown up in the world of mortals for all of his short life. As a result, he identifies himself as a human.
However, he also has a habit of mistaking men without wings as female. When he met people who were invited to the house they were always women or girls, and even all the servants were female, so he simply assumed only men had wings.
Biography: It was a wish that gave birth to Carus, the wish of his adopted mother, Amita Diligo, a woman who had just lost her nephew, the last of her family in this world. The real Carus couldn't be brought back to life, so he was given to her instead, summoned by the magic meant to bring her nephew to her. Given her nephew's name he then lived his life growing up as her son.
Amita was a noble, so it was simple to keep him out of the public's eye. As he matured, he never knew that he was different. In fact, aside from being forbidden to leave the property, he lived a pretty normal life-for a noble. He grew up with daily lessons from tutors, and he made friends with the servants, and was Amita's chosen heir.
However, five years ago, shortly after she had been convinced that he was strong enough to go out into the world of men, she fell ill. No magic or medicine could cure her, though their doctor was able to keep her status from deteriorating.
It was then Carus set out, seeking for anything that would heal his mother. Somewhere along the way, he became a mercenary and took up the alias "Mereo", hoping that in his missions he would come across some clue or hint that would aid in his quest.

I couldn't decide what useless magical stuff my treasure hunter should have, so I'm making it the GM's job to narrow it down.
Name: Ruin Dankal
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Race: Human

Abwyn's Quill (http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/2899/squillzs5.jpg) - Quill that is always inked, because it's easier then carrying around ink.
Everburning Wick (http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/9423/everyburningwickzw9.jpg) - Provides the light of a torch and never burns out itself.
Amulet of Sand (http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/1432/amuletofsandsg2.jpg) - It never runs out of sand.
Three Leaf Clover (http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/4796/threeleafcloverxe2.jpg) - Ruin assumes it brings luck. Magical luck.
Weave Hut (http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/2804/weavehutpe2.jpg) - A little seed that when planted, instantly grows into a little hut.
Weave Powder (http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8581/weavepowderwl7.jpg) - Reverts plants back to their seed form. Used in combo with the Weave Hut.
Chaos Sphere (http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1051/chaosspherepm1.jpg) - Bug zapper?
Weather Teller (http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/4444/weathertellerhf7.jpg) - A weather forecaster.
Syphon Stone (http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/4285/syphonstonegu7.jpg) - Absrobs magical projectiles. Ruin has yet to figure out how to get the magic out.
Quirks: If Relic sees an cave, ruins, ancient tower, emtpy castle, or any other place that may possibly contain hidden treasure, he will have an irresistable urge to explore it.
Bio: Ruin's father, Karse the Explorer, was a historic treasure hunter. He traveled the world, discovering magical secrets and ancient artifacts. He became well known among explorerers. However, he was forced to retire when his right left was cripple by a monster. Due to the crippling, he finally settled down and raised a family. He first had a boy, Ruin, who was named from his father's profession. Since his wife disliked that name, she got to name every child after that.
Ruin grew up listening to stories of his adventures. Everything about it seemed so exciting, so he dreamed of eventually being like his father. This is what Karse wanted, so he encouraged Ruin every chance he got.
At eighteen Ruin left his home to go explore like his father did. To help him, Karse gave Ruin some of his minor finds. In the past two years Ruin has been exploring whatever he could find. He's found some magical doodads and historical artifacts, but nothing major.
When the king sent messangers to collect members for his royal meeting, originally they went to Karse. But, because he was now retired, Karse refused and suggested they take Ruin, who just happened to be home at the time. So they did.

Appearance: 6'5", short auburn hair, stubbles on his chin, wearing a green shirt with a yellow vest, green pants, and a brown boots.
Skills:
Elemental Cantrip - By invoking a spell, he is able to give his arrows the power of either fire, ice, or lightning. For his crossbow, the power divides equally up to 5 bolts. (ie. 3 bolts, 33% power each.)
Dead Aim - Concentrating on a target he fires a singular arrow at high speeds towards the head or weakpoint. It does not work for his crossbow.
Quick Shot - Unaccurately, he fires a 3-5 arrows at multiple targets. Accuracy is a bit higher with the crossbow.
Sure Shot - Judging height, distance, and wind direction, he is able to fire his repeating crossbow at multiple targets surprisingly accurately.
Weapons: Oak Longbow and a small repeating crossbow he keeps at his side.
Equipment: Quiver, Arrows, Bolt clips, and money.
Quirks: Garet calls anyone he thinks younger then him a kid and despises working with them, but won't hesitate to. He does have a great respect for anyone just as skilled or even more skilled then him.

Appearance:

Skills:
Lock Picking--You need it open? He can get it open.
Sleight of Hand--Pockets need to be picked? Need an item lifted? Hey that guard has a key you could use? No problem!
Acrobatics--Ninja-like acrobatic flipping skills
Throwing Daggers--A necessity for any thief.
Swordplay--A necessity for any knight, but he's not the best trained swordsman in the world.
Archery--He uses crossbows on ocassion.
Stealth--ZOMG! WHERE'D TARIS GO!
Weapons: Standard longsword, a plethora of throwing daggers, and a hand crossbow.
Equipment: Lockpick set, some rations, some rope, nothing really outstanding. Just a bunch of little gadgets. Think kender pockets without the neat items (or the junk drawer at your house). And, as that it's right in the picture so I shouldn't have to mention it, but I will so if I use it there's no fuss--he does have that steel vambrace on his arm.
Quirk: He's not really much of a fighter, and he knows it, often referring to himself as a 'lover, not a fighter'. Though, truth be told, he's not really much of one of those either. He is, however, capable of being quite serious at times, and has an unnatural amount of loyalty for the king.

"Sex: Yes, please?" Nope, my jokes are more sophisticated than that while still being just plain awful.
Name: Aishel McValerie
Age: 26
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: She's wearing a brown tunic and she has grey hair and blue eyes-
Armored Bishoujo: "No I don't, I have grey eyes."
Raiden: "...Lemme see that character sheet."
Armored Bishoujo: "Well it says here-well it says that I have blue eyes but I decided I wanted grey eyes."
Raiden: "Whatever."
Actually, she's a tall, beautiful, and superbly muscled woman with long jet black hair that falls to her waist and pale violet eyes. She'd be a damn perfect vision of loveliness, but the diagonal scar on her brow as well as the other battle scars that decorate her arms, legs, and torso have left her looking rather tough and tomboyish.
Skills
First Aid - A self healing spell that restores a small portion of Aishel's health. This spell is a prerequisite for becoming an officer.
Full On Charge - Aishel breaks in a full on charge that she mostly uses to reach distant areas and intercept difficult enemies without wasting too much time. Her charge can be broken should she happen to smash into a large obstruction (which is knocked back) or a medium sized obstruction (which is knocked down), or she can simply be slowed down by a small target (which is trampled). Only executeable when Aishel's energy is full, such as at the start of a battle or after taking a break during a lull in the enemy's fighting power.
Morale Aura - Depending of Aishel's performance in battle, the morale of her allies could improve, mustering new energy. Fortunately, poor performance won't make her allies suffer a morale loss.
Aggro Howl - Pulls all nearby enemies on her. At this time, Aishel enters a defensive stance where she tries to block or avoid the damage coming her way. Used to pull enemies off of those who can't take that kind of damage.
Weapons: Officer's Heavy Blade (2H Sword) and Officer's Composite Bow (Longbow)
Equipment: Officer's white torso plate, gauntlets, leggings, shoulders...the whole deal except for the head in which she only has a large white hairbow, possibly the only thing that makes her seem feminine. She also has an officer's cape with the insignia of the army of the kingdom from which she hails.
Quirks: As a lesser officer who's busted her ass with relatively little to show for it, she has a somewhat strong dislike for men because they haven't had to work as hard as she does to obtain their ranks. Stupid sexist society.
Short Backstory: A lesser officer turned over from the kingdom of Duvashnia that she serves to assist in the war temporarily. Those she has commanded all agree that she deserves to be one or two ranks higher, but the kingdom for which she lives and works is pretty sexist when it comes to military officers. Aishel puts up with shit from male officers, particularly those of higher rank, nearly every day. Ironically, the only reason she is an officer was to proove that it isn't vulnerable to sexism, but all she's done is become a prime example of how bad it really is. Still, she desires to make the rank of Supreme Commander and show everyone what a woman can do when given the reigns.
Hmmm...maybe I can make cameos of the Kimonos from Soldiers of Light in the story...

Assuming, ofcourse, that the signups are still open I should like to submit Pinchette for consideration.
Name: Pinchette
Age: 22
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Appearance:
Pinchette is young and vibrant, affecting a style of clothing and demeanour that puts one in mind of the pantomime. Her hair is a deep, chocolate brown and it is kept fashionably short and meticulously styled into a bell shape. Her youthful expression and faint snub nose conjure up images of a mischievous child and not the respectable ‘woman of means’ she has become. She has a taste for eccentric fashion and chooses mostly from a selection of brightly coloured hoop-skirts and blouses, normally in shades of blue, pink or plum. Always of course, offset with a matching silk parasol. She often wears an obscenely dramatic hat in the latest fashion, which is adorned with skilfully crafted flowers and a woodpigeon, which, surprisingly coos occasionally. An overlarge ladies fan is buckled to her hip and she is never seen without a silver bell around her neck.
Skills:
Passagery:
Pinchette has the curious magical ability to step through one door and step out of another. To prevent herself getting lost In-Transit she will only risk attempting to reach a door to which she has already attached an identity charm, whose twin she must have on her. The most used of these is the silver bell around her neck which is the twin to one placed in the doorway of her bedroom.
She is also capable, far more riskily, of Getting Lost a skill which consists largely of closing your eyes, covering your ears and running whilst having no idea of where you’re going. The theory stands that if you don’t know your destination it could be anywhere.
Translation:
Pinchette has always considered that a painting or picture is just like a door or any other place of passage. As such she has developed the talent of Translating the contents of a picture into the physical world; she finds it draining to attempt to manage the demands of multiple fictions at once though so will rarely conjure more than one or two for any length of time. Also, if they can only be returned to their portraits in their current state and hence, a slain fiction will be returned to the frame dead. The ladies fan she carries is actually a folded image of a truly frightening mass of bees which she will use in an emergency.
Weapons:
Pinchette carries nothing even remotely weapon-like besides her parasol and fan.[/INDENT]
Equipment:
Pinchette carries a large key-ring like object strung with many of her Passage charms, most still possess there twin and are ready for use.
She also carries her ladies vanity case and, when the mood takes her, a collapsible easel, a few rolls of canvas and her painters basket – these are normally assigned to be carried by her escort. When she is on business she will often also bring a number of portrait rolls.
Lun:
Lun is Pinchette’s regular companion – translated from the pages of “A History of Pantomime” he is a slim, jester like creature who seems quite enamoured with his conjurer. He seems entirely mundane save for the brightness of his clothes, his painted face and a curious sharpness of distinction. He is entirely useless in most matters but is an earnest and dutiful friend.
Quirks:
Pinchette is a woman of means and can, with a small effort, afford to remain up to date with the latest trends in fashionable town living. She supports herself by running a perfectly respectable boarding house whose rooms she rents largely to those of an artistic bent.
Due to her rather exaggerated mannerisms she is more of a curiosity than a true society-lady.This doesn’t bother her however as she seems perfectly happy socialising with her Translations as she does ‘real’ people.

I think Raiden quitting is more of a problem than Mesden. You'd think that someone would have stopped all the commotion going on in the banquet hall.
While Mesden says she should quit, she knows that that "mistake" actually helps set up relationships far better than simply getting along or clashing with each other. It also provides more of a reason to prove herself.

Assuming you can deal with *le gasp* another character, I have a proposal. If not, I shall lurk and make quasi-witty comments.
Name: Jaxye Markin de Ralste Cresevern
Age: 22
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Appearance: Jaxye is a slight woman, of merely average height, with a frame that might be called scrawny if not for her broad shoulders and taut musculature. She is often mistaken for a girl of fifteen from behind, but from the front, her years are unmistakable- every year of her training left more scars on her arms and legs, and one particularly prominent one that sweeps across her left cheek, dangerously close to her eye. Thankfully, that blade missed, leaving her sharp, steel-grey eyes unmarred. Her face is likewise set in a determination that comes from a combination of experience, skill, and considerable good fortune- the kind of determination you see in the eyes of any good adventurer.
She moves as she fights, with flashy, sweeping motions and showy bladework, in the style of the Academy Markin. When she wishes to be seen, it takes a Herculean effort not to notice her- her brash contralto has a way of carrying, her golden brown hair gets tossed to the light at all turns, and she duels in bell-sleeved tunics of bright colors (that often conceal a dagger or two). Her boots, however, are strictly business- knee-high to keep the elements from her feet, with just enough room to slip a dirk along her calf. It is this practical side that leads her to observation and introspection, yet she still falls short of nobility.
She wears two tokens night and day- a pair of soft leather dueling gloves embossed with the crests Markin and a bloodstained strip of blue silk, which is either tied to her rapier's hilt or about her wrist in a symbol of fighting for another's honor.
Skills: She is naturally left-hand dominant, which, although seemingly petty, gives her an inherent advantage against right-handed fighters. Of course, this dominance would mean nothing without the years of study she undertook both at the Academy Markin and with her late mentor Marius de Ralste.
She has learned, in her years away from the Academy, to stalk her targets into a challenge, to relieve them of unbalancing equipment, and to creep away from the city guards that often accompany a victory in a duel.
Weapons: A rapier inherited from her master, with a long, bloodstained piece of royal blue silk tied at the bottom of the hilt, which is a simple affair- no more than a pommel, a long and deadly-looking pair of cuillons*, and a martingale about the wrist.
A pair of daggers, of excellent balance and edge. Their only distinguishing mark is that Jaxye wraps their hilts with a distinctive braid that leaves raised ridges of leather to improve their grip.
A small case of throwing daggers, which she rarely, if ever, uses.
A stiletto stuck into her boot, "just in case".
Equipment: A pair of tan leather dueling gloves, embossed with an elaborate crest displaying a dragon rampant over crossed swords.
Flashy, bell-sleeved tunics in vibrant hues- blue, magenta, violet, crimson.
A "good-luck charm" she was given by her grandfather, a retired adventurer, before she left for the Academy Markin. Unbeknownst to her, it enhances her already keen reflexes.
An all-weather grey cloak with large pockets on the inside.
Her mentor's bracers, which are non-magical but tough enough to parry the flat of a blade.
Quirks: She has an enduring focus on finding those who murdered her mentor in a fixed duel, which she blames herself for because she "wasn't strong enough". However, she can and will challenge nobles for the fun or the money, or infiltrate their homes for the challenge.
*cuillons= probably misspelled, as I've only heard it said. They're essentially long cross-pieces at the hilt that serve as blade-trappers/breakers. You can see something similar to them here (http://www.armor.com/2000/catalog/images/127detail.jpg), but there would be no bell. The cuilloned dagger I fenced with was essentially a pair of cuillons on a stick, but the cuilloned rapier had what was essentially a sabre hilt.

Well, nice character. But you did forget to place small text for an explanation as to what cullions were, especially since you put a * there and I'm curious myself and too lazy to check wikipedia.
But anyway, in the RP Faze is now fully sober, and ready for hijinks. Hijinks that can only come from Spear innuendos and awkward moments with the female players!

Raiden, those last two post endings don't leave much room for doing anything. Bowing is something that, with a little creativity, you can add to, but this last one is basically:

Hades Chain Blade- Using this technique, he seperates part of the blade from the sword, and makes a chain of energy connecting the blade to the hilt. This chain can extend up to twenty feet.
Medusa Whip- Using this art, he plunges the blade into the ground and forms a whip of flexible rock. Anything the whip touches forms a layer of rock over the surface of that object.
Inferno Wind Sword- Using this technique, he superheats the air a molecules width above his sword, then using his sword, flings the blast at his opponent.
100 Illusions of Hell- Using this technique, he rushes around his opponent at superfast speeds, and creates 99 illusions of his blade striking, and then makes one superfast strike with his blade at the same time. All of the fake blades look slightly misty.
Demon Whirlwind- Using this art, he whips a miniture tornado around his blade. He can also "throw" the tornado if he needs to. He uses his energy to keep the tornado from dissapearing.
Satanic Shockwave- Using this art, he slams his blade into the ground as hard as he can, and using his energy as a booster, sends out a shockwave with a fifteen-foot radius.
Three "Special" Techniques-
Gates of Hell- Using this art, he forms thirteen portals in a circle around his enemy (the portals are all interconnected). He then moves from one portal to another at near-sonic speeds, slashing at the enemy inside of the circle.
Beezlebub Windmill- He forms a few hundred tiny pellets of hard energy, and then twirls his sword like a windmill to send the pellets towards something at sonic speeds.
100 Blades of Hell- Exactly like the 100 Illusions of Hell technique-except he pours extra energy into the fake blades, making them real (they dissapear as soon as the technique is finished).
Ultimate Technique-
Snake of Lucifer- He summons black fire, and forms it into a snake shape, then throws it his enemies. The black fire can incinerate almost anything.
Equipment: A simple sleeping mat. Partial map of the world.
History: Ever since he was able to walk, he was trained by his father in Lin-Tala-Ranc-Cryk-Shiki. He lived in a small hut up in the mountain with his father. The only time he saw anyone other than his father were the three times they went down into the village a few miles away. By the time he was twenty, he had mastered his art. A year after that, his father died from disease. He buried his father by the hut, took his sleeping mat, and his father's map, and set out into the world he had seen very little of. He quickly made a name for himself as a mercenary. He only works for those who hire him to fight against something he sees as evil, or unjust. He stores whatever money he earns in several caches all over the world.
Personality: He is generally a nice enough guy, and is slow to anger. He sees being a mercenary as only a way to make a living.
Quirks: He loves cats, and frequently chases of dogs who chase cats. He likes cold tempertures. He's not a very good reader.
There. Revise if needed.
EDIT: Dammit. Forgot the history.

So is it still possible for people to sign into this, or is the RP in motion and finished recruiting?

Pass a PM by Raiden. Lord knows when he'll get back to you, though.

Yeah, from looking at previous posts that's what I kind of figured. I'll send a PM his way and perhaps I'll frequent the RP with you all after a while.

Umm... Firstly the Raiden the GM-san has left the proverbial building, as seen HURR (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showpost.php?p=442242&postcount=408)
Secondly, this thread is over the post limit, and it'd been better for you to post it in the current Discussion thread herre. (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showthread.php?t=15240&page=4)
Also, you could've simply placed the character sheet within your previous post, instead of double posting (which is a no-no!)
