Now, I could be really old fashioned for still playing D&D, but i saw on a wiki article that there was a magical item like what Dorian Gray's portrait was.

I thought that was a pretty cool idea for a potential enemy, I was wondering if any of you have particular stats on such an item (it transfers status aflictions and damage to the portrait and only manifests them on the character when the portrait is destroyed, necesitates a cunning plan on the heroes part) or if must make up specifics.

Nah, it's ok, I found my answer after I shuffled search criterion a bit. If anyone's curious as well it's the bottom item on this list (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fey/20030613a) under artifact. it's a bit weaker than what i was going for, so i'm beefing it up with all effects, not just aging effects.
