With his Pitful release, the don't download release & now this youtube release (which admittedly might not have been ok'd like the other two) you gotta wonder if the whole album will be released on-line before it even his stores.

White and Nerdy makes me laugh.
I listen to it about 6 times in a row, about every day.
And I still laugh.
Weird Al amazes me.

"Make you ROTFLOL" was my favorite line.

Saw it two days ago. Love it, great video.
Would you really expect anything less from Weird Al, though?
I haven't met a song of his that I haven't liked.

I dunno. I mean, I love Weird Al's song parodies, but most of his original stuff, since the days of Dare to be Stupid & Christmas at Ground Zero, hasn't thrilled me. Even the stuff on this album, while okay, can't compare to DtbS & CaGZ.
I am however shocked to find that the 'You're Pitiful' song is NOT on the album. I mean its a great song, why is it not there?

Huh. Me, I generally like his originals better than his parodies, and moreso his recent ones than his early ones...

This album hits a definate 'Meh' chord for me, has 3 good songs (White and Nerdy, Weasel, Canadian Idiot) the rest are weak, Stuck in the Drive Thru is good if you're buzzed.

SWB James Blunt gave Al permission to parody his song, but Blunt's record company didn't want the song on Weird Al's cd, so to avoid any trouble he took it off and added a couple others. I think White and Nerdy was one of the ones he added, so all in all it was a good trade.

As a matter of fact, if you check the white and nerdy music video, and look carefully when he's working on his computer, you see a wikipedia article he's editting for Atlantic Records which says, and I quote:
"YOU SUCK!"
In large, bold blue letters.
However, You're Pitiful is still a free download so while we may not be able to enjoy it in the cd, we have the friggin mp3, are capable of burning it to one. Along with Don't download this song.

My favorite part is when he goes up to the guy and it looks like he's making a drug deal...and it turns out to be a bootleg of the Star Wars Christmas Special.

The new CD is really good. I'm actually a huge fan of "Trapped in the Drive-Thru" , if only because those R. Kelly videos are the stupidest damn thing I've ever seen, and he perfectly captures their pointless long-windness.

I got the album the other day and it was good...the Pancreas song is kind of stupid though...What I like about the album is that it has a lot of his own original songs and isn't overloaded with parodies even though that's what he's famous for...and these original songs are pretty good too...I'll Sue Ya still makes me laugh no matter how many times I hear it

Yeah, I got the straight out of Lynwood CD....
My only problem with it is that it doesn't have the "White and Nerdy" music video. It has the song, but not the video.
Kinda the fly in the ointment for me.

It only recently struck me just how much Weird Al is in the public concousness. I thought he was just something that us weird internet people liked to listen to, but my friend (who is normal by all accounts and gets music from MTV and radio) recognized Enter Sandman when I was listening to it not because it was a classic metal song, but because Weird Al had made a parody of it. Seriously, she's like, "You're listening to Weird Al?" and I'm all "what choo talkin' bout, this is Metallica" and she was like "oh."
Weird.

I can't wait to get this one, Amish Paradise, you may just have been usurped as the best parody song ever.

Oi, anyone else catch Al performing "White and Nerdy" on the Tonight Show a few nights ago? Usually Jay Leno is just someone I put up with until I get to watch Late Night with Conan O'Brien, but this kicked ass.

Well, White and Nerdy made it to #1 on the Vh1 Top Twenty Count Down. Thats where I first heard and saw White and Nerdy.
Also I am fairly sure that song is written about a friend of mine in college. Seriously though... half of the references point to him. lol

I got this CD for my boyfriend because he is white and crazy-nerdy. He said that if he'd ever had other girlfriends before, that'd I'd be the best one.

I laughed so very hard when I saw this. I continued laughing when I found the Amish Paradise music video on You Tube.
And thus I put the songs on my iPod.
