One of the best games I've ever played.
I love killing hordes of zombies. :p
You can use almost anything. :D
Has anyone else played this game?

Two words: Damn you.
I absolutely love this game, but I don't want to buy a 360 just for it. It's not worth that much, but DANG, I go over to my friend's house rather often just to smash some zombies.
I'm so pleased at how they actually added a story, but you have no obligation whatsoever to follow it. The camera addition was cool too. Pretty much the best zombie horror game you can make. More RPG elements and better controls (ugh, never get used to that 360 controller) would have made it A++.

No obligation!? Time for me to round up all the survivors with a shotgun and scare them into the obviously-superior zombie hordes!! Wheeeeheheheheehee!
...
Okay, maybe not. But the first thing I do (after finding a friend who's bought the game) will be to find as many unintentional ways of using everything. I hope there's toasters, live electrical outlets, and cutlery to stick in things.

I love any game where you can kill nonstop for like, forever, and after 70,085 kills get Megaman's blaster. Then, you could go to the toy store and put on Megaman's costsume and helmet and actually shoot zombies with the megabuster. It's like what would happen if they made a Resident Megaman game!
Also shoving a faucet into a zombies head and watching the blood pour out is always fun.

Ive beaten the game over 15 times already. Had it since day one, funny thing is the big diclaimer saying that it has absolutely nothing to do with Dawn of the Dead.

Mini chainaws + zombie hordes = eww, that's messy.
I love this game.
Especially when you get the lawnmower.
I think my humanity just flew out the window with that sentence.

I played it through once all the way, and then played enough to reach level 50 (starting 24 hour mode, and then just slaughtering Spec Ops guys in the supermarket), but then I got bored. The problem for me is the combat -- only one move! Well, yes there are the bare-fisted moves, but for the most part they're difficult to pull off, and ineffective anyway. Plus it's not like you can really string them together or anything, like in a fighting or hack-and-slash game.
Plus, the boss fights are incredibly frustrating the first time you play them, and then mildly frustrating after that.
Although, the first time I took a sledgehammer to a zombie's head -- well, that was simply magical, like a first kiss, or first love. Except, with zombies. And decapitation. And blood. Lots and lots of blood.

I've just beat Adam on my second time through. I've rescued a lot more people this time, namely because first time I was trying to complete the main cases in one go so I wouldn't have to restart like I keep hearing many people having to do so.
All I have to say is that Dead Rising is the second greatest game ever. First is it's sequal...

The Clown.
I recently hired this for my temporary 360, and I really love it, who else found the katana hidden in paradise plaza? Or the frying pan trick, god that rocks.
The lawnmower though, that is made of awesome.
Also did anyone else notice *snicker* Jill's Sandwiches?
Can't wait for the inevitable sequel.
