They attacked without warning. The Crellans, that is. We thought it was just another diplomatic mission until they started killing people. We scrambled to counterattack, but they obliterated New York, London, and Moscow, with the largest structure remaining being a twenty foot tall pile of rubble where the Empire State building once stood. They're massive, even at hatching, standing over three feet tall when they're born, and up to fifteen at their peak, with hard scales that no fist fighter can even hope of damaging, one long horn extending from the crown of their head to just over their beak, three blade-like protrusions on their neck, each arm, and each leg that can cut through steel like a laser through paper. Their tails have a blade on the end, and can be swung with the force of a car moving on the highway. Some have a mild form of telepathy that allows them to translate Crellan into human languages. They've always had numbers on us, and genetics, since they could only be packed into three planets the size of Earth if they were sardined on every square inch of land, and can live in the vaccum of space for up to a month without finding a source of oxygen. But we have technology and strategy, not to mention a few Crellans on our side.
So, intro finished. This RP, like most of my creations, is dual sided. You can join either the Crellans or the humans. It's set in 2953, so technology has obviously gotten pretty far. A squad of humans and friendly Crellans has been dispatched to a Crellan center base - a refueling station, if you will - This planet is essential for almost half of the Crellan space movement, since it has almost no animal life, is full of plants and oxygen, and is in the perfect location for capture. Unfortunately, this planet, by human naming called simply Crell, since they consider giving away the location of the real Crell blasphemy of the highest order, is heavily defended, with trillions of credits worth of stolen or captured defense technology, including a jamming unit that makes any form of radio communication impossible. The mission is to plant an EMP to knock out this jammer and most of the defense technology. In two weeks, whether you've finished your mission or not, there will be an assault that will definitely take out this planet, but the losses associated with this victory could turn this war in either direction.
