Yes that's right sucker after my repeated failures as a GM (and extended vacancy of the forum) I'm trying again. And as I do so enjoy democracy I'm giving you options. HERE GOES!:

Option the first: In the future not only does reality tv still exist, but all other forms of entertainment do not. Reality tv has shed its skin of decency(what little it attempted to have) and has become one of the original forms of entertainment: Blood sports. These are played using genetically enhanced humans who have a variety of powers, 6-10 are put together in a small town and then forced to fight until there is but one survivor.
I have no storyline for this, I will define only the city and what items you can find in it, I'll narrate from the hosts perspective, and whatever the group tries, I'll pretty much go with.

B, the option: A few hundred years from now the apocalypse occurs. Life moves on, as it often does. The world has become a mish-mash of asian and american culture, more specifically a combination of fuedal japan and the wild west. This New West is overrun with Yakuza and small town crooks, the people are weak and submissive but wish for brighter horizons. Taking the role of powerful wanderer's its up to you whether or not this tiny village experiences freedom, if even for a moment. 3-4 players, gunslingers and samurai for the most part.

Option Finality: Dear TBM, Stop. Do not GM, Do not pass go, you will not collect $200. Good day.

Commence voting.....

now!

Hmm...I think these might succeed better than usual RPs, where people are out to try to save the world.

If it ends after the objective is completed (no matter how we did it), then I'm in. Option B seems better out of the two as well, since...well, unless an arena is at least mildly stat based and balanced (which will have its own problems) it will be hard to keep powers in check.

STOP! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN LIFE STOP!

Errrr, well the gunslinger/samurai one pops out to me far more than the eugenics last man standing one. If it's done right (allows for a cool backstory), it could be quite cool.

You wound wound me azisien.

I mean cool, 2 people interested in the one I favor more. I want it to last about 1 chapter, so the chars are introduced, plot comes in, quick series of battles followed by climax and then conclusion. Much like the zatoichi movies I've been watching as of late.

I'm in then.

If there's any particular personality you want in a character, I'm up for playing that part as well.

If you're going with Option B, then I'm interested as well.

I'd like to express interest in option B as well, although it looks like you've already got the preference list filled up. Still, here's my interest being expressed and all.

Understood, as interest is rather higher then I expected, as soon as the first one is started I'll begin working on the second. So... look forward to that.
