I'm a big 'old-school' type gamer, more because I feel that innovation has taken a backseat these days rather than my inability to afford everything new. My preferences lie in RPGs (der), old-school side scrollers, simulations, and MMORPGs (though I have only found two I actually like, and both are 'free'). On a Final Fantasy note, I have officially (meaning in my own convoluted brain) stricken FFVIII from the series and have replaced it with FFT, because it is superior and gunblades are dumb.

My other hobbies include pool, drinking copious amounts of coffee, smoking too many cigarettes, playing guitar (though I'm retired from bands), and writing short stories (a hobby I have recently picked up).

I am nice guy but tend to be shy around new groups so if you say hi, I will respond ;) I am married with two kids and doing all I can to maintain a semblance of sanity. I came to 8-bit theater about August of last year through a friend's word of mouth about how the comic's heroes seemed to fit our social circle. I used to be all into MMORPGs but with two kids now, my time has become limited. I like RO for the idea behind the classes and the seemingly ease of leveling but the end game seems to be a bit empty from what I have read (MvP bosses that need many players to bring can make them far and few between). Most of the classes I focus on tend to be support classes as I am a group person and less of a solo person. Anything else, just ask and may/may not answer depending on the privacy issue.

I return from my journey into the real world.

And dang, it has been FAR too long.

Though it has given me time to sit and think about what my priorities need to be. #1) My girlfriend. #2) My job. #3) College. #4) Everything I forgot.

I realized it had been too long when LOYAL came and gave me a wake-up call on RS. I had even forgotten his RS NAME.

However, as you can see above, I have lots of things that have to come first. So as of now, I'm calling an end to all my other series. And I'll do a few comics here and there, no more series. I'm already writing two stories and doing a comic series elsewhere. So whatever ones I do, they'll be one-shot things. As they SHOULD have been.

However, this does NOT mean that I am resigning my titles of Lord of Assassin or King of Pain(t). In fact, far from it; I have a new weapon to be used on the forums. I migrated here after about 3 years of reading the comic. I have extensive experience with forums. I have used a total of 5, and have been banned from 2 of them (but only on purpose). I am inactive on one, and hope to become a long standing member on this one. The forums I have been banned from are the explosm (home of Cyanide and Happiness comics) which I was banned from after starting a holy crusade called AASS (Anti Audio Slave Society) against one of the mods named audio slave who I felt was abusing his authority. I didn't change crap, but it was fun. The other was the Landover baptist forum, a forum made for a fake Christian church that basically dresses up like jesus and punches babies in order to give Christianity a bad name among those who don't understand they're fake.

I have been around Dungeons and Dragons since I was 5, but have only truly gotten into it just recently. Out of all the classes I have played so far, my favorite is a Barbarian using the Whirling Rage variant that cross classes to Frenzied Berserker. Interestingly, I had the highest intelligence in my party, which gives my character a remarkable resemblance to the Barbarian in the 'other warriors' of 8-bit theatre. So many lovable and pretty characters with interesting plot and just enough fanservice to make it funny without being lame. It goes from interesting to compelling to epic near the end of season 1 and then it turns into a complete train wreck.
-The Backyardigans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Backyardigans) – They are such cute little animal-children-things. They sing and dance with catchy songs, they have great imaginations, and they act like real kids. Only the first season is any good though. The rest of it is a lot of dumb garbage. Actually, Nique bought me a Uniqua doll that sings some bits from the “Pirate Treasure” episode. We keep her as a bathroom decoration. I like to squeeze her belly while he’s in the shower. -HunterxHunter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunterxhunter) – Ultimate shonen anime. The characters are likeable and well-developed. All of the powers are so realistic and well-explained and developed on that I almost believe it exists. Naruto is a poorly written rip-off of this manga/anime. Also, the main character is constantly getting his ass kicked even though he’s the hero of the story. :D

Hey everybody, I'm Seraphim Swordmaster. 'Tis a name I formed from a period of excessive Tales of Symphonia and Fire Emblem play. In case you couldn't tell... I'm an RPG nut. Anything with a good story equals instant win in my book. I used to love the FF games but fell out of love with them when they hit the Playstation era. Now I spend my time playing Tales games and trying to convince the youth of today that Final Fantasy was never as good as it was in the SNES era.

I found 8-bit theatre mostly by random chance and was hooked in an instant becuase the cartoon violence was reminiscent of a webcomic I did a few years back, but turned up to eleven. I'm known as Geminex, or any other variation thereof. I read a lot, pratchett mostly, but some factual books as well, I read a few webcomics to keep down the boredom. Of course, there shouldn't be much boredom, seeing as I'm in my final year of school and all that. I'm bitingly sarcastic and fairly arrogant, but I tend to drop that when I've been on the forum for a while. I role-play some and joined this forum after reading 1140.
