Question for Mashirosen

I don't want to go against your ruling, but how is polling people about who they think would win in a fight between anime characters who wouldn't normally interact with each considered RPing. Once again I'm not going against your ruling; I'm just confused. Thank you for you time.

Because of all the "*Kenshin slashes Pikachu with his sword and says* You lose, that you do!" stuff. It's not that you're not allowed to do things like that, it's just that in the old forum days when people started doing that kind of thing outside of the Roleplaying section, they'd start doing it in other threads for no reason, and everything'd start getting really off-topic and spammy. Having someone suddenly go "*hits you with my sword LOL*" in the middle of a normal thread kind of gets annoying after a while, you know?

Thanks for answering my question; I understand now. I didn't intend for people to post things like that in the topic, but I guess it was only a matter of time. I'll move it to the RP forum now.
