If you could add a body part or mutate one, what would it be? To the mods, sorry if this is in the wrong place, i didnt kno if i should classify it as a game or not.

I would mutate my eyes for xray vision (overused i kno, but with many practical applications ^^).

technically xray vision is a mutation of the eyes, so if you can justify a body part that would create the power, then its allowed

If talking about weiord ones, maybe hyper senses. Capable of seeing over high distances or hearing anything, but able to control it.

I think we're talking like body part mutations, or mutated body part. Not so much off the wall x-men style mutations, but that's just how I read it. In any case I'm thinking that a muscular and skelital structure that could move at super fast speeds would be great, as well as extreemly high ensurance and a nervous system that could keep up with that speed to recognise everything. But if that was too far out there, I'd be ok with really fast regeneration. Or maybe a celular structure that could accept other biological matter and graft it onto my body temporarily. Those are all fun options to play with.

I'd mutate my cells, advanced reproduction rate and enhanced ability to break-down and combine molecules. Basically insted of being able to only breakdown and combine food and other forms of energy (carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, etc) they'd be able to break down/assemble any molecular structure, and able to reproduce at a fast enough rate to cover semi-large areas.

Now that I think of it, it's basically alchelmy, equivelant exchange (just rearrangement.)

As far as simple mutation without powers goes, I'd love to have either a tail, horns, or both. For power mutations, I'd mutate my brain to read the thoughts of others.

As for something more minor...increased cellular regeneration/repair would be great. Maybe not at the wolverine level, but you know, faster.

Regenration tops my list (duh) after that I'd take the frontal lobe bit from The Shadow or the ability to vibrate my [censored], cause that has good RL applications.

Oh goodness, so many options...

I'd probably want a special gene in my hand that, on comand (think spider man, but without the hand gesture), would make a small explosion, but leaving my hand unharmed. That way, I could do the old "Monkey grabs peach" (use your imaginations) and rid myself of a theif/an annoying person, or get rid of a metal wall, trash and debris, pine cones, etc.

If not that, then some ability of the mind like making things move, or spontaniously combust things at will.

Besides, if I'm going to be disappointed about not getting the power I wanted, it might as well be a small let down.

Accuracy would be eliminating the shaking of my hands, arms, and pretty much all other body parts when aiming, and reflexes would be mutating my muscles and brain for faster response and such. Oh yeah, and I'd also like to have cool blue flames that come out of my eyes and emanate from my body when I'm pissed, stressed, etc. Brightness and intensity of flames depending on how pissed/stressed/etc I am. You know, just something to look cool. Think of the Peacebringer from CoH and you have a perfect mental picture.

I'd go with wings, like several other people, but I'd also like some way to effectively hide them. Let's face it, walking around with big holes in your clothes for your wings to stick out of would be damned odd, and not having them would bulge your clothes and be highly uncomfortable.

Technically skin is a bodypart so here is what I would like:Y'know in Dune those personal shields that are more effective the faster an object hits them? (I'm rusty on dune knowledge so pardon if that isn't exact) I want my skin have the same property. Faster velocity equates to more effective negation.

The applications! Racing somebody from the top floor to the ground floor? Simply jump off the edge. The speed of the ground coming at you would render you nigh invulnerable! No to mention a cartoony outline of your body in the cement as you get up and dust yourself off to the freaked out screams of onlookers.

As far as powers go: Keep the skin mutation and mix in a little short distance hyperspeed bursts. Juggernaut anybody?
