Stallone said he wanted to do it for two reasons...

1.) He misses playing Rocky
2.) He wanted to make sure NO-ONE EVER MADE MORE ROCKY MOVIES AFTER THIS ONE

Therefore, I think he dies....

Pfft, deaths don't stop prequels.

Or remakes, or reimaginings, or whatever in hell you like.

He's playing Rocky again cause he thinks he can squeeze another twenty million dollars out of playing Rocky again, who's kidding who?

Didn;t Rambo 3 like kill an entire studio because it was a bomb?

Bah, they've been making "Rambo 4" for fucking ages!! And where is it? There is STILL no actual info on it! I mean I first heard about it like 8 years ago!

8 FUCKING YEARS! What the hell have they been DOING all this time??

Possibly. The premise of the movie certainly suggests that, what with this whole "one last fight" type story. Perhaps it is all to prove that Rocky really IS the best, so no more movies will ever be made because we already know that he's the best. Or he may indeed just die, but really, what would be the point of that, becuase if he DOES die then prequels can be made.

However if he wins this last "ultimate deciding match", then no film studio will ever bother to make another, because the plot will die, even if Rocky himself wins.

I have to concede that I'm a sucker for the Rocky movies, so I am excited about this, extreme-drawn-out-length-of-the-series be damned.

Of course, I also like the Friday the 13th movies, so maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment.

Uhm, in the last one, didn't Rocky suffer from so much brain damage that it potentially could kill him if he ever fought again?

And now he's all psyched to fight again? Despite this, his wife supports him?

Eh, yeah... Okay, so the Rocky movies haven't even tried to make sense in the past, why try starting now...

I will be there openning day if I have to slay hordes of zombies and risk brain eating death to be there!

I wonder what cheesy 80's band will be brought out of retirement to do the theme for this Rocky...

And does Rocky really have a chance this time? I mean the other guy is like way way younger and all of the best characters aside from Rocky aren't in this one...Mick, Mr. T, a number after the title of the movie.

I hope this one isn't so bad that it isn't played on TV even like Rocky V

I'll put a $5 on it being Boy George singing, "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me."
