I figured it'd been about 400 pages since we last saw him, so it was as good a time as any to bring him out.
Also, I had originally planned for Not Akbar to possess a method of travel for the Light Warriors, but his fundamental Akbarity ran off before that subplot concluded itself. Jeff should work just fine in his place. Stay tuned!

ANOTHER Running gag?! Geez, Brian sure loves overused plot devices doesn't he? :P
I had forgotten about Jeff. Poor BM, getting kicked twice and all. It's too bad Thief is probably too much of a stingy and uncaring bastard to offer dental.

I wonder if White Mage ever got that Italian dinner?

You don't want to know what activity BM was engaged in immediately prior to and whilst being airborne.

I. love. Jeff.
Blatant disarming honesty and practical violence trump all.

"It's not in color or at the right angle." What?
Correct me if I'm an idiot, but I thought Black Mage was referring to the background in the second panel, which suspiciously fails to appear in the rest of the comic, and which is undoubtedly as fake as Akbar's.

I trust Jeff! don't forget he is the honorary 5th light warrior

Sign face to wrong direction compared to structure and Structure got no color. Obviously it not look good in 2D world.

Why did I think of Half-Baked when I read this comic?
Also, this furthers my, " All those named 'Jeff' (currently) possess uncanny intellect, astounding leadership skills, good looks, and are all-around good guys (or girls, but I've not yet met one so named) Theory."
It's on it's way toward becoming Law. The only detraction is my obvious Pro-Jeff Bias, which I attempt to remove with "Quintuple Blind" (Patent Pending) studies.
Feel free to ignore those middle two paragraphs and continue proving my Theory right by talking about how awesome this Bit (Ha!) character is.

We need to convince Red Mage to change his name to Jeff and study whether he gets any smarter than he already is.
Yes, I know there's a lot of stupid-and-incorrect in my post. His character sheet probably still reads Debora somewhere anyway.

The second Not Akbar showed up i knew that they would eventually enlist the aid of Jeff.

Wow, I almost completely forgot about that guy. I remember him now that I clicked some of Brian's links, however.
Black Mage is getting hurt more in this page than he has the past 50 comics. Well, at least physically hurt.

I like Jeff's way of doing business. If someone suggests that it'll take a kick to the head to convince them, he'll kick them in the head. Didn't RM try and make him the honorary 5th Light Warrior?
Sryen
12-12-2006, 08:25 PM
Yeah, RM said he wanted him as a light warrior, but if that happened, BM would started all kinds of crap about how white mage couldn't get in.

Just what is he, anyways? A lizardman?
I think he's just a human wearing desert suitable clothing.

Am I the only one who is amused that Akbar, with a Middle Eastern name, has red hair, while Jeff, with a European name, looks like someone out of Lawrence of Arabia?
Anyway, it's good to see the honarary fifth Light Warrior again.

Heh, I never noticed that until now.
Though Jeff does also have red hair.

Better than "Ker-Inquiry"? ;)

Or "Completely Justified!" ?
I'm more impressed that anyone can spell onomatopoeia. Even though the sound of a punch naturally lacks any coolness whatsoever. XD
Hooray for Sculpt Sound! The bestest spell to mess with sound effects since first edition!

Please tell me the whole "That was a punch, not a kick. No, that was a kick, not a punch." conversation from a few months ago won't restart? Also, I thought Jeff's thing was being completely honest about the quality of his products.

Sorry, I didn't know that there was one. Was it specifically about the Ker-inquiry?
Also, I thought Jeff's thing was being completely honest about the quality of his products.
That's his thing with the light warriors. His thing with Black Mage is kicking him across the head. ;)
