Hooray for Cannon Travel Service!
Although something tells me they're going to wind up stranded in the desert...

Enjoyment.

Secret of Mana for the motherfucking, cuntboggling win! Man I loved that game.
And Jeff can't die, he pisses off BM too much.

Ah, Cannon travel, just like in Sword of Mana. A pretty cool way to travel.

"Its murdering time" Love that quote. Thats also the quote I thought Brian was going to use but I was wrong. >_> Heh also love that quote from Fighter too, about Jeff being so legit.

Heh i don't know why BM is so unhappy - he can cast feather-fall. And if he times it right he can also watch RM Thief and Fighter become craters.

Yayz Secret of Mana Cannon travel; that brings back memories.
Loving Fighter's lines as always.

I'd like to know where those backgrounds came from.
So would you prefer the honest guy who gives you the bad news straight on, or the lying prick who would (try to) make you think that nothing will go wrong?

Good Ol Jeff, he appears illegit, but still carries through on the deal.
There's this one dilemma that was avoided in the game, as well as by SOM theater, that upon being shot the explosion would probably kill them, as well as the sudden and abrupt change in motion should kill them, and finally there's that slim chance they get shot out of the atmosphere and die from lack of air.
I love seeing where this is going.

I yearn for a big greesy spot on the next comic with the remains on red mage. That would be total bliss.

Technically they would die of the lack of pressure before suffocating, i.e. they would explode.

Oh sure, when Jeff suggests something like this its a bad idea, but when BM suggests doing this w/ a Hadoken, its all good?
Hypocrite!
(Could somebody pull the comic in question? Thanks in advance.)

BM's right he totally can, i mean he has everything he needs to stab the life outta Jeff. I can see RM and Fighter being stupid enough to get shot out of the cannon, and i can see BM being forced into it, but i don't think that Thief is stupid or cheap enough to get shot out of a cannon.

Stupid enough, no. Cheap enough, yes. In fact, he is cheap enough to allow Black Mage to kill Jeff, then still make everyone use the cannon, just so that he doesn't have to pay.

Can't Thief simply steal the money back from Jeff after he paid him? It can't be that hard, even if he gets shoot out of a cannon in the meantime. Also, Secret of Mana 2 = Win.

The Thing AND Secret of Mana... I love references to random things. Of course, Secret of Mana trumps Fantastic Four by a long shot.

See, Jeff's bad plans are much like BM's, only with less destruction to neighboring planets.

Greasy? As if a guy like Red Mage doesn't wash his hair occasionally.
No, wait. That wasn't my point...
Oh - if they stuff Fightar in the cannon first, the initial explosion won't kill them. Fightar can absorb the traumatic force without being ripped to shreds, acting as a buffer for the other three. Landing? ...eh. He can take it. It's only a lot of dirt he's hitting.
Doesn't Red have featherfall too? Thief can just uncannily dodge the blast radius, and later, dodge the ground.
Hehe, now I've got myself laughing. The Penultimate Ninja move, capable of contorting out of any harm's way: Mystic pretzel!!

The obvious implication in the following comic is that Black Mage is responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs on our own planet. Which is fantastically, deliciously implicational. Do the 8-bittians live on Mars? Or perhaps some other planet which will later become... dare I say... the debris that we like to refer to as the asteroid belt?

or he can steal the planet and sell it back to everyone in return for the light of the sun while dodging unpure air :D

So...
Fighter just won't die. Get him in the cannon.
RM and BM got featherfall. Cannon for them.
Thief can use his stealing skills to steal the place where BM is after landing, so he'll change places with BM and make BM get thrown out of the cannon again. Then he finds out he's out of spells per day and can't cast featherfall.

I see the solution clearly in front of me.
BM kills Jeff. They loot his corpse.
What then? Who cares, another wanton murder is all BM needs.

I don't think Jeff will die.
Everything that happens, happens to hurt BM.
