Jade pulled up into the driveway on a nice sunny afternoon. She had gotten out of work early and had gone to run some errands and pick up Gabriel from kindergarten. She opened the back door and fiddled with the car seat before picking up her five year old son onto her shoulders. The black haired (where he got that color from nobody knows) boy squealed with glee as Jade ducked into the doorway. "We're home!" Monk picked his head up from the ground, "Jade! Thank god!" He struggled to get up, but his opponant had him pinned to the ground. "I can't move! She's... she's too strong!" Jade smiled and whispered something to Gabriel before putting him down. The boy laughed and did a running leap onto Monk to join his sister. "Gah!" Monk dropped his head on the ground, "This isn't fair! It's two on one!"
"I told you I could beat you daddy!" Jen cried out in victory.
"Oh... I'm not done yet!" Monk grinned as he wrapped either arm around a child and rolled himself over so that he was on his knees. Successful, he picked himself up and slung a child over either shoulder. "I may be getting old, but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve..."

"Old? I hardly consider our age old dear." She grabbed Jen from him and slung her over her shoulder. "Now what shall we do with these two?"

"Should we hold them captive and with hold supper from them?" Jen giggled, "as long as we get dessert I don't care."

"Now you know the rules here, no dessert unless you finish your plate... and if there is no plate to finish...?" Jen thought for a moment before pouting, "no fair daddy."

"Oh... completely fair. You tried to take over this house, and I won. Therefore, I get to make the rules... unless... your mother has something to say about it..."

"Yea mommy's the boss of you!" Jen said happily. Jade put her down slowly, "ok you two, go play upstairs for a while ok?"

"...sh... sh... she is not!" Monk called out as they charged up the stairs. "I'm not?" Jade said as she hugged her husband. "...n..n..nnnn... no?" Jade smirked before pressing her lips to his. "How about now?" Monk slumped a little, staring off into space. Jade laughed, "I win again I guess. How was your day?"

"All right. Nothing really happened." Monk shruged. "I need to look into a job or... somethin'. Something to make me feel halfway useful around here... I should go back to the acadamy and teach martial arts again... that was fun.”

"I agree, or maybe I can find you something in the CF branch here," Jade trailed off for a minute. "Hm... Cyberforce, huh?" Monk sighed, folding his arms over his chest and sighing, "I have to admit. I miss the old team. It just seems we all... you know... parted ways."

"I know what you mean. Did you know that it's been 10 years since we were all together last and defeated Mastermind?"

"Wha? It's been 10 years!?" He sighed again, "10 years... you're kidding right?" Jade shook her head. "I mean, we've talked briefly since then, but it's been that long since the team was together." Jade smiled at the laughter that emanated from the upstairs. "Look at what we've accomplished since then. Monk's smiled widened, "Ah... good times..."

"Monk!"

"What? They were..." Jade smirked again. "You know, we should get together with them." Monk raised his eyebrow, "Excuse me? The last time it looked like a girl was making a move on me, I thought that Jen and Gabe were only going to be a dream of mine..." Jade raised an eyebrow as well. "What are you talking about? I meant we should get together and see the old team again to catch up."

"... Oh... uh..." Monk chuckled nervously, "Yeah! Sounds like an idea! That's what I was thinking!" Jade gave Monk a weird look, "I think we should even invite the kids too. It would be nice to see how many Jason and Kaitlin have pumped out."

"That's... an interesting way of putting it..." He spun around and started to pace, "All right... so... how should we do this?"

"Well we'll need a place to meet, and we need to get in contact with everyone."

"Contact is easy... it's place. We could have it here... or we could rent somewhere..."

"I think we should rent somewhere. I don't know how deranged some people could have gotten."

"This is a true statement..." He stroked his chin, "Wait a sec! We could just set up a log-in room!" He spun around, snapping his fingers, "We'll give everyone a special... uh... number-thingie... to go... uh... there... and uh... that's the bottom line!"

"You mean you want to do it in the cyber world?"

"Why not? That way, all people would have to do is just jack in and POOF! there we are!" He grinned for a second, then lowered his shoulders, "Is... is that NOT a good idea?" Jade's eyes twinkled. "It's a great idea."

"It... it is?" Jade nodded, "you're getting the hang of this technology afterall."

"Kinda sorta, I guess. I DO want to make sure our kids are gonna be safe. That... and I have a LOT of free time around the house here." Jade giggled, "this is true, but you do make a perfect housewife."

"Aw... why tha... wait a minute..." Jade laughed out loud, "you really need a job."

"You need to... not be... so... mean... to me..."

"Aw," Jade wrapped her arms around him, "I'm sorry love."

“No you're not..."

"Yes I am."

"Really? I'll take your word for it then." He grinned, wrapping his arms around her. "So, shall we tear ourselves away from each other to go tear the kids apart?"

"I think we might have to..." His eyes shifted, directing Jade's attention to the stairs where two small heads were poking out through the railings.
"Is THIS where they kiss?" Gabriel asked.
"Shh!You'll blow our cover!" Jen put a finger to her mouth. Jade smirked, "you two are in trouble."

"Run!" Jen guided her little brother up the stairs. "I know where you two live!" Monk was the first to chase them. Jade chased after Monk, "my house!" A few hours later, a bunch of emails were sent out to the members of the old cyber force alpha team:

Dear _____,
We know it's been a while since we last talked let alone spoke with each other. We would like to cordially invite you and your family to come to the Cyber World Ritz Carleton Hotel for a reunion of sorts to commemorate the 10th anniversary of defeating Mastermind and to catch up. Please bring your children and significant others along with your good spirits.

Sincerely,

Jade, Monk, Jennifer and Gabriel LaFleur

OOC: Lookit! A Reunion special! I was talking with MC and Wolf and we decided it would be cool to get the group back together just to see what's been going on with everyone during the 10 years they were apart. Feel free to make families and such for your characters. This will not be a very long rp, just a kind of get together for us to have one last hurrah.

It was a cold day when Wraith got the email.

Of course, every day in Russia's a cold one. Returning from a hearing regarding a certain suspect he'd apprehended, he only wanted to grab some tea, finish his paperwork, and go home to start over again.

At the top of his inbox though, lay the email Jade and Monk sent.

Sitting back into his seat with his tea, sighing heavily, he opened his email account not expecting anything out of the ordinary... status reports, summons, legal and operations paperwork... but when he saw Jade's email address he sharply sat up, nearly spitting out his tea.

A reunion...? he thought, pondering that for a moment.

After another short moment, he sipped his tea and turned on his intercom. "Natalya... get me the Director."

"For what reason?" she replied in Russian.

"I'm gonna need a short leave of absence." he replied in kind.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will be landing at Logan International Airport momentarily, please remain seated"

Jason MacKenzie rubbed the sleep from his eyes and put his window shade up as he looked at the Boston skyline from 5,000 feet up.

Amazing...no scars from a decade ago...at least not physical ones he thought.

He was eager to get home, his last assignment for Knight Industries had kept him away from Kaitlin and his children for a month. Plus after 10 years of making sure another incident like Mastermind didn't happen again, Jason was getting tired. Fortunately Michael Knight had seen this and granted Jason the ability to take a leave of absence for as long as he wanted and whenever he wanted. And after nearly avoiding being blasted apart by an RPG for the umpteenth time, Jason decided it was time for temporary retirement.

He was spending so much time ruminating on that fact that he almost didn't realize the plane had touched down and was at the gate.

Well, he thought, Time to get going, your family is waiting.

Jason had barely stepped off the plane when his wife of 10 years nearly bowled him over with a running hug. Their two children, 8 year old fratental twins David and Maria, followed Kaitlin close behind, hugging their father's legs.

"I'm guessing the three of you missed me," Jason said with a chuckle as he kissed Kaitlin.

"Yes we have, you know the kids miss having you about, and you definetely know I miss you." she gave him a slight wink.

Jason managed to disengage himself from the group hug so that he could grab the twins in his arms. "And have you two been doing well in school?"

"It's just second grade, dad," David said, "It's not like it's that impossible."

"A simple yes, would've sufficed," Jason said to his son, with a slight grin. "You'll find that wise comments don't get you too far, but you're young, you'll learn eventually," he turned to his daughter. "And how have you been doing in school?"

"Apart from math, I've been doing just fine," Maria admitted.

Jason thought for a second. "Hmm...must get that from me I used to be bad at math too. Ah well, I'll have plenty of time to help you."

He stood up. "Come on, let's get my baggage and let's get going home."

Beowulf, in what was probably his 10th reconstructed cybernetic body was waiting for the family when they got in.

"Welcome back Jason, I trust your mission went well?"

"It probably could have gone a bit better if you were there helping me instead of being rebuilt again after that incident off of Puget Sound, but in the end I'm still here so, yes it went well."

"Good, by the way you recieved an email from Jade and Monk while you were gone."

"Hm, it has been a while since I've heard from them at all," Jason said, "guess I'd better go see what it's about"

***

Jason had just finished reading the email as Kaitlin walked up behind him and hugged him from behind. "Well, what does it say?"

"Well, basically they want to hold a little reunion of the original team, it has been 10 years after all. So it'll be like high school...only I actually like the people at the reunion."

"Sounds good, we should definetely go. Did you RSVP them yet?"

Jason hit a few keys on the keyboard. "Done and done,"

"Good, Kaitlin said as she began to run her hands further down Jason's chest and nip at his neck.

Jason stopped her hands from reaching any further "Aren't you worried the kids might hear?"

Kaitiln shook her head "They're watching TV, we should be fine for a while."

Jason turned around and kissed her. "Good, let's make the most of what time we have now."
