This applies to school and videogames.
School: quite obvious. Post your least favorite/most hated class, and as a bonus, why?
Games: Classes like warrior, magician, viking, accordian thief( real class). Name your least favorite, and from what game it comes from.
Also: Any type of "class". No racism, please

You almost make it sound like a forum game...
I have to say that my favorite gaming class might be archer. Why? If it's against a warrior, you only get to use the arrows 2 times before you have to pull out your dagger (which isn't all that helpful). If it's against a mage you might have a chance, but magic seems more easy to wield and more powerful than any arrow.
Except if that arrow was crystal, poisened, and enchanted with "explosion on touch" or however you may put it.

My least favorite class (school)?
History, because I was so bored with it because I knew everything in the studies. I once spent class reading the Hobbit instead of studies In fact I got in an argument with my teacher because he was wrong and I was right. I proved I was right in the end.
My least favorite class (games)?
Berserker. I like being able to control my characters.

School: Hmmmm...tough to say, really. I mean, I like the subject of all my classes, really, but not school, per se. Or, more accurately, work. Of any kind. Ever. I plan on making money by letting people pay to bask in my glory, and/or perform oral sex on me. That's realistic, right?
Games: Anything that can't effectively be power-leveled. If you can't power-level, then it's stupid. And it eats babies. And possibly makes love to Rick Santorum. While eating babies. So there.

Least favorite game class: NPC class, worst calss ever.

As far as school I have been done with it for a long time so I dont really remember. For games, I would have to say calculators from FFT. Granted its an incredibly powerful class, but too much work to be worth it.

Some NPCs fight btw, so if you still have those feelings, I can understand.

School: English because a) you have to practically bleed yourself to death just to get an A in this class (only like 2 students out 30 get A's) and b) the teacher is an annoying, old fart who makes overly-sarcastic jokes to students whenever they do the slightest wrong thing.
Games: Any type of long-range character I guess (with exception of the ones that cast magic) because in my opinion, they do too little damage.

That sounds like my math class, and I like that class...........

School: I always hated art. I don't have a single artistic bone in my body and I frankly couldn't give a shit about those lessons. It became somewhat of a free period because no work ever got done and we'd all just be messing around for an hour.
Games: Monks, or their equivilant healers there-of. I cannot heal! I'm utterly useless at it and prefer to hit things until they die.
And whats everyone got against rangers? Rangers are some of the best anti-tank classes out there, capable of inflicting such effects as crippling, poison, and burning on enemies all at once, at least on Guild wars. A warrior running around at half his normal speed with massive health degeneration isn't going to be able to last very long at all.

My least favorite game class would be a Theif from the early FF games. It was so annoying to have that as a player. They couldn't hit worth shit, died easily and half the time couldn't steal anything.
My least favorite has to have been figure drawing. Now, I love art, I love making it and looking at it. Unfortunately the teacher was a total dick who believed that they were the all knowing and seeing when it came to art. She screwed a lot of good artists over in their program, just because they disagreed with her philosophically. It had nothing to do with their artistic capabilities.

Least favorite school class: Calculus. Blech. I rocked all my math classes until I hit Calculus, which made a habit of beating me senseless from the get-go. Argh.
Least favorite game class: I usually end up disliking anything called a Monk, however it may work in a game. Examples: FF1's Monk/Blackbelt kicks ass, but does so without any equipment. If I do give him equipment, it weakens him, so he has to go without status protection and such. Another example: Ragnarok Online's Monk class has skills that only work if he chains them together, so he has to get his timing right, which is hard if he's built the way I usually build my RO characters. If he doesn't bother with the chained skills, he's just a melee fighter with Acolyte spells.

School: I used to hate history, but my professor this year has changed that. So now I have to say I absolutely dislike english. I haven't had a good english class/teacher in so many years. I'm not LEARNING anything in these english classes, all we're doing is writing paper after paper and being told what we're doing wrong (but nothing is done to teach us any new writing styles or techniques.
Gaming: Hmm Blue Mage. I just never got the hang of that type of class.

I can tell. Passive voice? What're they teaching you in that Yankee college of yours?
MY least favorite class has to be Digital Logic. I mean, 1 + 1 = 10? That's not the worst of it. They even changed the sign's meanings, so that * is AND, + is OR and various other things which make me mad at all engineers ever.
My least favorite game class is the warrior/fighter. I NEED spells.

Metaphysics... See, in college I took philosophy as my minor, but as it happens I kept putting off the dreaded 300 level right up until the end.
And metaphysics was the only open course.
The worst part? Aside from remembering that I hated it with a passion, I can't remember a damn thing about the course. Well I suppose I vague remember the ship/part discussion, except using mind transfer & teleportation as the crux of this discussion, but otherwise nothing...
As for character class? Cleric, easy. They've got mediocre spells, and they're big stupid heads.

my least favorite class types were always the "useless time wasters" such as health class and gym class. I can figure out how to brush my teeth and run a mile without government funded education very much. In college I don't much care for the gnereal education crap that has nothing to do with my major, if only because I feel it's a waste of money and effort.
as far as game classes go, I never liked the dedicated offensive magic user. Sure they can dish out horrendous damage all at once, but what's the point when you get bitch slapped by some form of slime or other such lesser beast? If they can't lay down at least a little bit of physical smackdown, I despise them.

I. HATE. ART APPPRECIATION. I am very artistic, but that stupid new "art appreciation" crap is horrible. For our exam( we have trimesters) this year, we had to memorize 10 time periods, 30 art things for each, 60 artists, and a whole bunch of other crap.
Game, I hated the peguses riders in Fire Emblem. They were extremely suceptible to arrows and any other physical attack. They were supposed to be strong against magic, but they weren't too much more so.
Just to tell you, favorite class would be the dragoons from FF3 DS. They had incredible defense, attack, speed, accuracy, and had an aawesome skill.

Probably a tie between...actually no, screw it, nothing could tie: Philosophical Issues In Women's Studies. Fuck you, Barahad, fuck you for recommending we take that course.
Class? Eh, I suppose the one that immediately comes to mind is the Calculator from FFT. I refuse to use a class called a CALCULATOR, regardless of their overpoweredness. In the broader D&D scope, bards. Why? It needs no explanation.

Schoolins: I generally liked all my classes, but the one that I slept the most in, not out of hatred or such, was Social Studies. The highschool I went to had no advanced placement for that class so the teacher would just give me my paper, I'd finish it lickity-split, and take a nap. He didn't care because I wasn't disturbing anybody and if nobody else knew the answer I'd just ramble off something. Anywho.
Gamin: gonna have to go with Funka Genocide's opinion about frail magic users on this one.

You know what? Active voice can suck it.
Also, I thought I'd throw out a little bit of hate (not TOO much) for my Asian studies class. No, the class is fine and such (even though it's a night class) but the TESTs are terrible! 205 questions, 105 of them are true and false. And the questions are stuff like "If you were to fly from Laos to Kandy (I think that's how it's spelled) which direction would you fly?"
And I have to third the solely-black-mage users. I NEVER use my characters who are only black mages.

Calculus makes my head hurt.. a lot. My first teacher when asked, by me, to explain the principals behind the theorums and formulas would always respond with, "because that's what it says in the book." My next teacher kept getting the formulas wrong and doing the actual basic operations wrong and that just messed me right up, haven't taken a math since then.
I am a physical kind of player and absolutely hate playing ranged casters, any casters at all really.

Math, hands down. I just cannot, cannot, CANNOT wrap my head around the numbers. And formulas make me want to curl into the fetal position. Also, I hate English because the teacher is an annoying doo-doo face head.
My least favorite classes are the ones that I can't control. Berserkers come to mind. I always use a balanced party and utilize everybody, so I generally have a party with 1 fighter, 1 healer, and 1 offensive spell dude. If I have four people in the party, I'll have a thief, if I have 5, add a... whoever's available at the moment in FF4.

I've never understood the math hate...All the math courses I've taken over the years, if there are truly difficult equations to remember, they're usually given to you on the exam sheet or you're given a full fledged equation sheet. Like the probability course I took this semester...there are some lard ass equations when statistics are concerned, but it was all open-book.
Even I bitched about the size of the equations for a while, but by the end of the course, I had done enough practice with them that they were slowly sinking in and I barely needed to use notes.
And given the choice, feminism vs. calculus, shit, what do you want me to integrate and how fast would you like me to do it sir!
Also: Blue mage. What a waste.
YES! I had totally forgot about the blue mages! They definitely get a place with the bards on my scale. Black, White, Red, tis all I need.

Somebody hasn't heard of the Magic Hammer Matra-magic combo, eh?
knock huge chunk o' MP away and swap current HP with current MP. Two, or three, blue mages with those skills decimates anything.
Agree with you on bards though, with the exception of Deekin because..well..Deekin is Deekin.
Trying to think of a class I hated...I would say math but I had a hippy math teacher once who put an interesting spin on mathematics:sweatdrop

School: Biology 101 was hell.
Games: "Jack of All Trades" type characters who eventually become just plain bad at everything.
Other: Those annoying fraternity and sorority kids, the ones who actually think that they're better or more important than other people because they willingly let themselves be abused in order to join an exclusive little club with a secret handshake. If half of all of them were killed, prefferebly brutally, then the collective IQ of Earth's population would skyrocket from 18 to 23 (still retarded, but might learn to tie shoes someday).

School: Normally History, because with the exception of a few good teachers it's always the same boring thing. Especially US History, because then its "WAR, life of the common man, bills that never passed, random congressman #52's scandal, technological improvement, tension" rinse and repeat from Colonial to Nuclear.
Although earlier this year I disliked my English Teacher, because her analysis of everything was "GOD, HEAVEN, GOD, JESUS, <main character minorly mentioned>, BIBLE, BIBLE, DEVIL, HELL, <main villian>, HELL". I mean I get religous significance in literary works but everything was a symbol to this woman.
Oh and Graphic Design, because my teacher retracts everything he states from due dates, to wether he likes a design or not, always to the student's misfortune. Oh and he has the habbit of making class long rants about whatever he feels- the design process/parlimentry procedure/why he thinks people should date multiple people at once/ how he dates multiple people at once/his latest gadget or project/how ungrateful we are/why all our work sucks/how nice his shoes are. I'm not kidding.
As for video game class- whatever is secret/special, because it falls into one of two categories.
A. Rediculously underpowered and useless, because only special character 196 can use it and it only has 3 skills while all others have 20.
B. Rediculously overpowered that only the main character/his mentor/that one npc you get for one battle before they leave can use that is rediculously overpowered and you get only for the final ten seconds of the game, or for performing some rediculous task, that by the time you complete you are powerful enough to beat the game ten times over. Oh and because now you have this super powerful class/character all the work you've done is now useless.

What class do I hate? Well, for starters, math. I hated it because I showed no particular talent or interest in it. My teachers were really cool though, and thank God, or else I don't think I would've ever passed that class without them being so helpful.
Science is another class that I hated (in some surcumstances), mostly because the teacher was a real sexist (he hated girls, never gave them good grades or paid any attention to them, but he praised boys like if they were kings...they didn't particularly like that). I liked chemistry though, but even with that, the class was overall depressing.
As for a game class, I hate archers...they don't do enough damage (this is in FF tactics) and are not accurate. And can somebody tell me what the heck is a beastmaster good for? You can control a beast for one freakin' turn only!

Game, I hated the peguses riders in Fire Emblem. They were extremely suceptible to arrows and any other physical attack. They were supposed to be strong against magic, but they weren't too much more so. You are such a deprived person if you never used pegasus riders. Their magic resist was, indeed, much higher than most melee. Essentially, they were a flying speed character, where wyvern riders were flying strength characters. Speed > Strength, in most cases. Not all of them, mind you.
My least favorite class in school:
History. It's sucky to learn about. Oh yeah, there's interesting parts in history, but actually learning it sucks. Also, when they try to pass off bull reasons for teaching it like "So we don't repeat it" or "So you appreciate stuff blah," well, it annoys me. They teach it because it's intelligent to know. It gives us a basis for reasons to do something, most of the time. Ehh, </rant>
My least favorite classes in games are support classes. EverQuest Enchanters, Clerics, etc. Healers in general.
