Question. I know all of the rules about religion on the board. But what about RPs that contain religious content? And I mean serious religion, not just the Heaven vs. Hell, me am angel kind of thing.

Not like that. I mean as in things that involve Christianity, sin, Buddhism, paganism, idol worship, etc., etc., etc.

Yeah...it's usually something not used in RPs. If it is, then it's some made-up one that's used most likely.

Hmm... an RP with heavy religious themes and overtones could actually turn out really interesting. But it would have to be done really well, and it'd depend on having people that wouldn't blow up at perceived assaults on their personal religion.
And unfortunately, such people are outnumbered by about 9,000 to 1 on the net. Or anywhere.

Probably best not to tempt fate.
