Believe it or not, I've never sold anything on eBay, and figure I should jump into it about now.
However, there are a number of things I'm a bit fuzzy on. Calculating postage, for one. I'd also like to know the best way to ship items, or at least the best place to get packages.
Also, does eBay host pictures, or do I need to sign up to a service like Imageshack?
Currently, I think I might test the waters with my assortment of Palliadium Games RPG books (mostly Robotech & TMMT, but some others). Sound like a good idea, or do you think I should work on something like TFs?

Well, one thing I do know is don't set a reserve price for your auction. It's like putting up a huge sign that says 'Don't Bid On This Auction EVER!'
Also, for help with shipping (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/ia/shipping.html) and adding pictures (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/ia/adding_pictures.html), why not check out eBay's help section (http://pages.ebay.com/help/index.html)?

... well, if you have Transformers to get rid of, I've been meaning to get into that again and am willing to pay a reasonable amount of postage...
(I mean, I have to, what with the best ones not being sold here.)

I've never bothered too much with exact postage. Just charge a flat rate for it. If the true shipping cost is less, you'll make a couple extra bucks. If it's more, you'll lose a couple bucks, no biggie. Also, ebay hosts pics, so you don't need to subscribe to a service.
For practice set up an auction, but then cancel it before you actually post it. That way you can become familiar with ebay's layout.
I'd reccomend you sign up for a paypal account though (if you don't already have one). It makes selling a lot easier.

This is not so much a suggestion of what to do, but as what to sell. Ironically me and my friends were talking about stuff we would sell on Ebay for shits and giggles and i said i would sell my common sense, and send the people who bought it a big refigerator box full of packing peanuts.
the lesson here is: never buy anything that doesnt sound serious from me.

Tip: You can Add a Fixed a "Invisible" Transport fee to your overall price, and say it actually has Free Delivery (Works EVERYTIME)
Also, Photos or Animated Gifs that show the product are always a plus

I own three souls not including my own. Is there any law or rule preventing the buy, sell, or trade of those on ebay? Also, is anyone willing to sell their soul to me?

Well, I suppose it would depend on how you got those souls, and how you would give those souls to other people (meaning 'Are they in a box? Or do I just sign this contract and now they're mine?).

Well just to get things started, and I brought my stuff into a local eBay store. (Y'know a place that sells you stuff on eBay, for you)

I gave them my Palladium RPG books.
And when I get around to it, I hope I can get my THS-02 Convoy (sort of a mini-Masterpiece Optimus) set up myself.
