Hello all,

This thread is concerning the up and coming graphic novel, UTOPIA.

I was wondering if anyone else had heard of it?

Here (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/45507238/) is a preview of the cover page of the book. And this (http://aerion-the-faithful.deviantart.com/) is link to a DeviantArt page with more samples of the author/illustrator's work, some for his novel and others not.

So far, this book hasn't been brought very far into the public eye. The most exposure it has gotten has been on the Warseer website. A site mostly dedicated to the Warhammer hobby that Brian is taking part in. Here (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43879) is a link to that site and thread if you are interested.

I myself, have been completely engrossed by the work that has put out so far. It has both a very unique art style and storyline.

Here is a description given of the setting by the website of the publisher, WildeTimes:

UTOPIA takes place in an imaginary elseworld where the sun's rays are inimical to life and even the air is poisonous. In the middle of the vast desert wasteland stands a colossal Tower of one hundred thirteen levels. It is the last bastion of life amidst the desolation. Stories and legends abound of the mysterious Creator who built the tower and brought its inhabitants to life. Each level is a different world in itself; different rules, governors, and inhabitants. Countless creatures inhabit the Tower, all rules by the Empress of the Moon. UTOPIA tells her story, and that of Sevenn, her Imperial Guardian, protector and lover.

Now here is the kicker for those of you interested. At the WildeTimes web site, one can order a preview for the novel. Here (http://www.wildetimes.com/) is the website at which it can be ordered. Here is what I like. The preview is free. Well, from what I understand, one would have to pay shipping if they live outside of the US. But that is it when it comes to monetary issues.

And for those of you who don't want to bother clicking on any links, here is a sample of the style of art.

Anyone interested in it?

Sure i'll check it out, sounds like it has potential to be good (but also potential to be pretentious and bad).
