katiuska, in regard to the picture, Sisko was freaking out because he didn't want to be held, and Steve was trying to hold the camera and get a good picture at the same time, so he was getting a bit frustrated with Sisko's wiggliness...and he did feel a bit hurt that Sisko wouldn't let Steve hold him for the picture.

Anyway, this is the picture that Steve took using a timer to give his dad for Christmas (it's a little more holiday-oriented than my previous picture):

Please note that Steve is not strangling me--he is trying to get Sisko to pay attention to the camera rather than watching the birdie (Pablo). This picture also gives BMG! a pretty good idea about how big teh Sisko kitteh is. (We're very careful not to overfeed him, but he's still a massive feline.)

The camera is an L15 Nikon Coolpix. Not a God camera, but it's got 8.1 Megapixels and a number of interesting picture settings (I plan on testing the slow shutter speed one for the fireworks show on newyears)

And a chimera, in the non-mythological sense, is someone who has different sets of DNA in different tissues, namely blood and skin cells. Unless you used steroid drops at any point. Hazel is pretty much the catch-all term for any eye color that has brown and another color in the same iris, I think. Anyway, my eyes are grey-green and brown with a ring of dark charcoal-green around each iris, and they've always been called hazel, too. *shrugs*

Ohh, that sort of Chimera... I don't believe I am one. My eyecolour's always been like that, the only chemicals I've had in my eyes are salt (never take advice from Those Kids in the Hall XD), and that stuff they use at the eye doctor's to make your pupils go big for tests. That stuff didn't seem to do anything to me. My brother Jay has the same eyes too, but his look more yellow sometimes.
Fun fact! My parents have blue eyes and green eyes. My other (foster/adopted) brother Roy is even freakier, because he's got a milder form of albinism. His eyes are this freaky mauve-ish gray.

I don't really need my glasses for much of anything, the prescription is from ages ago. It was supposed to be for seeing things far away (reading the chalkboard!), but on a more recent test we did in my physics class, I scored as better at seeing far things. I aced the letter chart. Close things I'm fine with too. As an artist I'm always poking at stuff super close-up with fiddly details.

I think I was just writing slow and distracted back when I got the prescription - yeah, learning disorder and ADD mistaken for not being able to make out letters quickly. Woo!

Yeah, I'm seriously nearsighted -- I've worn glasses since I was 8. I've considered the switch to contacts occasionally, but I've never really gotten used to the idea of sticking fingers in my eyes, and I'm so used to them now anyway that it seems weird without them, like I'm missing a part of my face.

Our Sensei is only a 3rd degree black belt and the guy that came up was a 5th degree black belt. That and when you visit a dojo you generally have two goals. To teach as much as possible, which means working fast and hard, and both side want to suitably impress each other. That generally means class goes harder and faster than normal. Its actually a good thing because without mixing it up like that you tend to stagnate and stop improving.

At that size and with the little face and form on her, I'd say Pomeranian x Long haired Chihuahua- I wasn't certain till you said you weren't sure, and her size, but she looks SO MUCH like mum's little puppy "Babe" that I feel pretty confident.
