Why thank you. Thankfully the horrible white light hides the bags and blackness under my eyes. I actually look quite horrible with this whole school thing killing my actual desire to maintain any sort of body image at this point. In fact, I dyed my hair and got it cut because we're approaching the end of our program and I wanted to celebrate not having Friday rotations for a month.

Really I'm just psyched that you can actually make out the bottom of my ribcage slightly. This is going to sort of serve as a before because I want to bulk up a bit before my next tournament. Now that I've lost the fat I really need to add the muscle. The pose is just meh. After 10 years of karate it just sort of happens on its own whenever you want to look ready to do something.

After writing for GPD for two years, I was then able to use that history of writing to get work with two websites. (Technically there's a third but I don't do much for them.) GamerLive.TV gets me into most of the local events, like a Battlefield 3 preview in San Francisco. MSXbox-World, however, gets me a lot of my review copies of games and our US based PR guy is a top-notch hard working motherfucker that you just gotta respect. He's built a really great relationship with THQ, so I've gotten to go to a couple events of theirs. This is one such event.

For the last 7 months i have not turned on my wii. Not a single time, since i got to work it just kinda fell off my radar. I was planning on giving it to my nephew but he just got a PS3 (damn lucky kid...) so i got "stuck" with it.... it's 5 years old, used... so as you may noticed, market price would be very, very low... but it's just taking up dust so i try to sell it online anyways...

So, this guy in a Gundam Forum i know offers me 3 Kits for it. 2 Perfect Grades, 1 Master Grade.

A kit that has been assembled losses up to 30% of it's value... other than that, the value of a kit never really goes down, just under retail (or not, depending of the rarity and popularity of the kits), putting together the value of what HE gave me, that's 230USD New on retail (without shipping), or 169USD if i cut off 30% for it being assembled.

...for my used 5 year old wii, that retails brand new at 140USD at amazon.

...so now i have that going on for me.

(In fact, I feel positively underdressed without one by now.)

I want a hat or some sort of accessories for my hair, but it's so hard to find something that would fit a look I'd like. I think it'd go a long way towards helping my appearance, though, since I don't have an especially feminine haircut.
