Well I was thinking maybe we should have in addition to the normal Mafias, a 12-person mafia with basic roles to encourage new players to join. If you think my idea is worth trying I would be happy to run one.

If you want to "train" some people for mafia, start a couple of C9 games. It's 7-person, you have 2 mafia, and the following combos for townies are chosen randomly for each game:
5 townies
4 townies 1 cop
4 townies 1 doc
3 townies 1 cop 1 doc
You don't tell the player which set-up you use because it can be pretty easy to make startegies based almost solely on the type of set-up. It's really good for introducing players to the basic build of how a mafia game works. Then a 12-person game can help them become acquainted with power cross-effects, multiple killers, and expanded probabilities. After that, it's a small jump to 18-25 person games.

I think I read through that one. Very amusing. The town's paranoia is it's only real enemy, since the town could easily overwhelm the mafia if they only worked together.

Can someone explain the Lists for "Mafia Future" and the waiting room? I mean, are those games still waiting for enough signups, or is it the order the games have to go in?

Lets say I wanted to start a The Watchmen Mafia (which I do), would I have to wait until my turn, or are the other games all on a "When I get to it" basis?

Mafia Future is the list of games that will go into signups when the ones above them are done. You can only have one game on the list, so if you ask to have other games put on the list, they go in the waiting room. When your game leaves the Future list, the first game in the waiting room of yours goes onto the Future List.
