Oh, man. I remember playing this shit constantly during work after the supervisors went home. I believe my personal best was over 14000. I was pretty lucky to get two green specials consecutively. That poor boy was rocketing.

I played it several times since this thread came up. My best so far is 5289.51. A lot of it is in how good you are and doing those aerials.

Yeah, the aerials seem to be the main thing, the secondary thing keeping track of the face boxes and the arrows that point to whose coming up and who's on special so you can aim yourself at the special ones.

Also, green girl? Yeah, I fucking HATE her when she's not on special.

Yeah, but if the game must end, then I believe it's only right that it ends with him landing in the warmth and softness of the green girl's chest. After all, he gets rammed into the sky by a girl on a bike (and that doesn't count the times you use her to rebound him up or down), shoryuken'd by the yellow girl, roundhouse'd by the blue girl (and occasionally doubleteamed by the duo if they're next to each other and you get the special), kamehameha'd by the red girl (and triple slashed with a katana when you get her special)...

Throw in the purple girl's weird specials during those rare occasions when you can actually get them and...man, that guy's just all kinds of messed up when his journey finally ends.

Aerial Tutorial: Rebound Down - Can be used when the ball is moving up but still on the screen. Pay attention to the blue rebound icon which tells you when you can do it. When the ball is on the screen, partway between the ground and the sky, the percentage meter charges. At 100%, you can use Rebound Down again. You usually use this to time a bounce down towards a character you want the ball to hit.

Rebound Up - Can be used when the ball is falling while on the screen. Usually used to keep from hitting the wrong characters or to keep a really fast, really high bounce going to really rack up the maximum distance.

There's two types of aerials. Blue and red.

Red you get three of, that's it.

Blue has a charge bar. Everytime you're moving within a certain height it refills. You can only have one at a time, but it always charges.

As for how to activate them, red activates when you're going down within a certain height, and blue activates when you're going up within a certain height. To activate them, just click.

You can tell when you can activate either because the little aerial thing in the upper left hand corner is gray when you can't, red when you can use the red ones, and blue when you can use the blue ones.

Also, blue ones shoot you toward the ground. Useful for aiming at someone you want to hit for a boost or special.

Red ones shoot you up, useful for dodging the green bitch when she's not on special.

You can use the blue ones to dodge too, but you have to react considerably quicker.

They also speed you up in and of themselves. As a result using the blue to jump into a booster will give you almost as much speed/distance as a special move done without the blue (blue + special = about five hundred KM before you come down, I did it once... then hit stop girl).

Also, in order to make the most use of this, you want to hit a 'sweet spot' between up and forward. Too much up and you lose speed too quickly, too little up and you move too fucking fast to be able to react to anything at all ever... and if you lose a lot of up you never get high enough to use aerials and are at the mercy of lady luck as to whether you get a stop/slow down or a boost that can put you back into the game.

Edit: ninja'd. I'm leaving it though, because I think AB and I both provide our own unique perspectives on the game and reading both is probably a good idea if you want to get real far. It's also a good idea to not get bored of it after a few games.

Highest record for me is in the 15k range. I would have an exactg number but at that point I accidentally clicked the Ipod ad below the game while doing a special.

Main reason I got that high was definately the COSMIC FORCE FIELD (Bounce Boost in my case). Those things are as powerful as they are rare.

Which makes no sense to me cause a second ago the chick that stopped him rocketed him when I hit her special.

It varies, and I'm not sure exactly how it varies (like, if it's randomly chosen or if it depends on which girl you land on when the special shows up).

There are two I've seen so far. One launches the ball and then gives it some kind of weird field so it bounces higher and higher with each bounce and then there's this other where the balls goes forward until a countdown from 100 is completed and then returns to normal.

There's also the one where you get double power, meaning that each time you get hit by one of the girls you will get double the amount of... yeah, you know what I'm trying to say.

You should use the red aerials ONLY if you are going to hit one of the guys or the green girl and it isn't in your plan to do that. More than anything, they are lifesavers.

I'm giving up on this, not matter how hard I try, I can't even come close to my record now, even though I managed to get 75 m/s before while at 300m in the air... before landing on that fucking green assed bitch!

And I can never get her special either, everytime I get a chance to she dissapears from the specials indicator JUST as I hit her, which contrasts nicely with the red bitch who goes special right AFTER I hit her!

The green chick's special unlocks when you hit a boost from another character. Any other character who boosts you (aerial boosts excluded, and male characters don't boost you). It lasts until you touch pavement. If you bounce off a guy it doesn't go away, nor does it go away if you use an aerial.

However, it ends the second you hit pavement. So you need to land on her. You can't hit the ground then bounce up into her, or it stops you.

In addition to Krylo's explaination, the other specials are as follows:

Blue and Yellow activate if they are next to each other in position (i.e. B Y or Y B). If you hit the first one, you get a special, and it knocks you into the other for a "combination boost".

The Red special activates whenever you hit the red girl. It only goes away if you get another boost (Or hit a guy? I don't remember.).

I don't full understand the purple specials yet, however I got one and it gave me about 1000m with no danger of hitting anyone. It was pretty haxx0r.
