Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
My favorite episode was when he used a newspaper to break a piece of wood with his fist. At 5 years old it blew my MIND!

Now, don't get me wrong, Bill Nye is still cool, but Mr. Wizard was just the best thing ever. I remember getting up every Saturday morning, turning on the TV, and being blinded... with science.
Fair thee well, Mr. Wizard. And godspeed.

He's not dead! He can't be! I refuse to believe it!
He made me love science! He made me love learning! He made me love Old Peo-... *cough* nevermind.
Mr. Wizard was awesome because he was always on right before my faborite Saturday morning cartoon lineups. My dad and I would actually wake up around 5 or so, watch early MST3K episodes, Mr Wizard, than I would watch cartoons while he went to the Commisary and bought groceries with my mom.
He will be forever missed, as will his showing me how to make an egg fit into a bottle opening almost half it's diameter.
*raises a glass to Mr. Wizard* Hip Hip, Old Bean. Hip Hip.
