This here is the forum for all your computing-related discussions and inquiries.

NO VIDEOGAMES DON'T COUNT POST VIDEOGAME STUFF IN THE PLAYING GAMES FORUM unless it's about getting technical help exclusively. "Minesweeper is incompatible with my drivers" - yes, "How to get past the end boss" - no.

Otherwise:

- title threads appropriately, no "MAH COMPEY NO WORKEY, HELP PLEZ!" and that. You should in some way describe the actual problem.

- Mac vs. PC: we don't wanna see this become a thing in here.

- because it applies here especially, there had better not be any questions like "I am having a problem with getting all the latest episodes of Naruto completely for free, can anyone help me with that please?" or "Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this Photoshop CS3 I've heard so much about without paying any money at all?"

You don't get bonus points for making a cute jokey thread title, please give a quick summary of what you're trying to do and don't just write "wanted to try this" or whatever. Thanks.

Elaboration: you don't need to understand every aspect of the problem particularly well but, let's say you're going to the doctor's because you fell and broke your arm. You may not know or be sure it's broken, but you definitely tell the doctor "I fell and now my arm hurts, right here" and not just "doctor please help me."
