RPGs of course, but closly followed by Strategy. My favorite kind of game is a squad based strategy, game with rpg elements....or and rpg with squad based stragegy elements.

My personal favorite is RPG, though I'll try out almost anything that looks (or that I've heard is) good.

RPGs. There's hardly a one that I don't want to play, barring MMORPGs.

My favorite game series, Final Fantasy, is mostly RPG, been playing it since I was 6 and it's still kicking, but I don't tend to like too many RPG's while I do like most strategy games I've played so strategy got my vote. My guess is that RPGs are going to win since this is the forum of a webcomic based on a classic RPG game (albeit this point may be obvious to most of you).
Meh, we're all on the 8-bit theatre BBs, no? Heh. I'd suppose RPG followed up with strategy.
Games that make you THINK
Oy, what a state we live in, where games need to look cool and you just blow up everything, but, I wont get into that.

I vote for strategy, with RPG in second place. It really depends what mood I'm in when I want to play a game, though. Sometimes I feel like RPG, sometimes strategy, sometimes action. It seams kind of stupid to poll this on this site, though, because RPG is such an obvious winner.

I suppose it does have much the same effect as posting a "WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WEBCOMIC?" poll...
...but I find it interesting that, as of the moment, there is not a single non-RPG, non-strategy vote.

RPGs have twice as many votes as all the othe categories combined!(Of course only one other has any votes at all)
score when I posted
RPG 8

Yeah, I dig RPG's, only when im in the mood. I voted for strategy though, because they require more brains that normal RPGs. Also, I do the entire Action gaming and everything, I dont limit myself.

My favorite kind is an RPG with an action adventure game style battle mode like star ocean 2 the battles take place in real time and you control only one while the cpu controls the others, you can switch between characters, and the game pauses while searching through menus

Wow! A sports vote in a forum about a web-comic about Role-Playing games! Look a flying pig! And I do believe Hell has frozen over.
And the Cubs win the world series!

Yay! Go RPGs! I think I'd put Action or Adventure in second though...
Hey, maybe a better question might be "What's your second favourite genre?"...'ey?

Maybe this thread should be removed, it's not likely that the differences between each catagory will ever change

Looks like Roleplaying won by a landslide. Seriously, on a roleplaying fansite, you cant say youre surprised that its winning by so much. :p I like a good RPG, one that has puzzles, ever personality evolving characters, and plot twists. Not just a hack 'n slash drone.

I like ones with unsurpased amounts of costumization even if the characters aren't well developed, you can get a personal feeling by the main character/characters being uniques
acually i'll start a new tread, what do you like in a game
