Does anyone know if it's out? If so, have you played it and how is it? I heard it's pretty much just a professionally made mod (Penny Arcade). What's new about it?

Also, I'm really interested in making a clan for Battlefield 1942 or any of its mods or expansions. I think it would be cool to have people from this site be in it and have our own little site. The problem is, who would host it? One of my friends who has a server at his house might be willing to host our site, in the event we create one.

Yeah it came out on Tuesday. It's cool, nice graphics, and plays kind of like a mix between BF1942, Desert Combat, and Call of Duty. It's a lot harder to see people hiding in all the grass and stuff, which makes advancing kind of hairy. Might cause a camping problem, but I doubt it. The jets and helos are nice, a little easier to fly than DC. Awesome graphics, and sound...I love the oldies music.

When you play this game you really have to rethink the strategies you learned in BF42. The days of the 1 man flag capturer, in my opinion, are over. I only played a couple of maps, but one that I landed had the F4 Phantom. I snagged that baby and yes oh yes oh yes, HEAT SEEKING MISSLES. Hey I see a Mig. Bam. Dead. There's another. Dead. Racked up 6 kills in a matter of seconds.

A clan would be cool...maybe post a new thread to see how many would be interested...
