Considering I've never seen El Mariachi or OUATIM, plus Mashirosen's apparent obsession with Johnny Depp, I figured I'd make a thread about it. Has anyone here ever actually seen El Mariachi? I saw it for rent at Blockbuster and was wondering if I should just give in. I thought Desperado kicked all sorts of wonderful ass. I also never saw OUATIM, but I heard it was also sweet.

Yep. Its a very nice movie. Well worth a rent. As For Once Upon A time. Senior Depp steals the show ppracticaly and the movie is very nice. Best watch them in order though...

Why is this in Arts and Crafts?

And there good movies, great to just watch for the splosions and Selma Hyack. I believe its a movie where you can acheive negative brain activity just by watching.

i couldn't stand watching desperado..and although i am a big fan of cheesiness the fight scenes were horribly cheesy.

that one throwing knife scene was just downright cornball.

I watched Desperado, and I liked it. Sadly I must still watch El Mariachi and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. I think I'll wait another year or so... The trilogie box should be released by then. I missed Once Upon... in the cinemas because of that lousy thing called school. I hate them...
