And this is how 8-Bit theater will end.
All of the warriors will slip into a trance watching Fighter fight himself, and they'll all starve to death. Except for Thief, who will steal everyone's belongings while they are in the trance, and then run away.
And he lived happily ever after.

Is it just me, or did the last panel not feel like the last panel?

Battling against yourself is inner peace.
And actually that's right. Jihad from Islam is like this and some other religions have same kind theories (noot right word here but couldn't think better term). If this is found to broke the religion rule of these forums, mods are able to delete that part of my post.
And well, rethinking you values is like battling where different values inside your head battle and you may find your "true" values.
But none of your chacters aren't actually doing that Brian and I thought that there were philosophical part in your comic! Oh the agony.

I thought something similar. So... that already was the whole of Thief's brilliant plan? XD In that case, what did he distract Drizz'l for!?

Poor RM, he's been so violated. I don't know how Fighter can be peaceful through fighting himself, isn't it driving him super sane? Oh, now I get it... :D
I can totally see Fighter becoming his uber-smart self due to being super sane.

I never tire of the sprite where Red Mage throws his hands up in the air. There could be an entire comic of that, and I would laugh.
Rogue is in league with Thief... so what's he up to? Just keeping BM distracted while Thief carries out his master plan?

I love everything about 8-bit theater.
Brian, you're doing an excellent job, and anybody who says otherwise is just forgetting that this ENTIRE COMIC is based on the exploitation of suspense building and non-climactic moments which make the action hilarious and unexpected.
I love how BM is casually conversing with a guy he stabbed to death just a few minutes ago. Classic subtle 8bit absurdity: if it doesn't seem bizarre, you don't really understand it.

He's casually conversing with Rogue.
He stabbed Ranger to death.

Don't know about Thief, but I think Rogue's only in league with himself and "this guy he knows...".
And I'm not even all too sure about "this guy".

"This guy" was once (or has always been) Thief when Rogue bought that map from him. You know, I get this information from this guy. It was good information but expensive.

Isn't Super Sane Black Mages old meme?

If Super Sane Fighter combines his newfound inner peace with making his swords become unto things like chainsaws, he could destroy the planet. Let us pray he uses this power for good.

I think Rogue knows several "guys", considering Thief was half-dead when Rogue tried to sell the fake rat tails to BM. Also, some of the "guys" are likely made up.

Hey, this comic is three-dimensional. See how RM is standing in the background? I always assumed, and I think it's mentioned somewhere in the comic, that the world is actually flat like Flatland. Maybe that chaos thing is kicking in. . .

Nope, it's always been three dimensional. Take, for instance, the comic where Fighter's fear of spiders is introduced: he runs across the foreground whilst screaming. There are more, of course, but I'm too lazy to list them.

Yes, there are plenty, THIS (http://www.nuklearpower.com/daily.php?date=070313) is my favorite of those for some reason though.
