It's Saturday, and if you haven't already noticed, there are like three threads about the end of 8-bit in this forum.

Yeah, comedy does trump continuity, but that's always been applied in a way that makes reading the comic more enjoyable, not in a way that completely ruins the comic and nearly eight years of memories.

And, uh, I think you made up that third point. 8-Bit had been a pretty painless affair from March 2nd, 2001. Otherwise we fans wouldn't enjoy it as much.
