right of the bat... if Smallville can get 8 seasons, Supernatural deserves it too and more.

This is, without a doubt, the best season so far... and right now, the best show on my radar. It totally filled the space that i had for Heroes before it went down in raging flames...

I dont know, maybe it was the fear that the show might been canceled after season 3, but the writers and the whole team came back with a bang... Sam and Dean interact in a fantastic way, Castiel is nothing but the most perfect incarnation of a angel that i have ever seen on a TV show... the plots are interesting the characters are loveable (even though it gets a bit too "Deancentric" ..) and the balance between action, drama and comedy is pretty much always spot on

Plus The best version of Eye Of the Tiger ever made, ever! (http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=Bgd30bjQmes)

I completely agree. Supernatural is one of the few television shows I've watched that has gotten better and better with each season. From what I've read, Eric Kripke planned out the show to run for five seasons and it looks like he'll get to complete it on his terms. I applaud Kripke for wanting to end the show on a definitive note, but if he decides to keep it going a season or two longer, I certainly won't be opposed to it.

well... season 4 -is- pretty much about the end of times, it's hard to imagine what could top that...

But then again, they showed with episodes like "Monster Movie" that they can easily get out of the main plot for the sake of telling just a good one-shot story...

One thing i would like to see if the show really comes to a close on the next season is a spinoff. Showing new hunters and having Dean and Sam taking the type of role that Bobby has right now... it's not the best solution, but they showed they know how to cast the right actors for this... expanding the Supernatural unniverse to something Outside the Winchester's life would be a way to close this story and bring in a new one.

Because, i got tell'ya... it will be a let down if the series ended on Season 5, season 4 showed that there is a LOT of stuff to happen here.

From my understanding, the show is planned to have 7 seasons...but I don't know how much of that is truth, and how much of that is rumor.
