Is Brian going to do another free comic series? Or is it just Atomic Robo and his books? Maybe another FF comic? Is he going to keep the site and comics up or tear it down? Whatever he decides I'm just grateful he's been cool enough to stick with this comic for all these years and I've had a lot of fun reading it.
Sorry if I'm not allowed to post this here or if this has been addressed already I tried finding it, but reading tons and tons of posts is hard for me :sweatdrop. Also I've tried reading all of Brian's newsposts he attaches to his comics thoroughly and I haven't seen him address it yet.
Warbot in Accounting. That's his next webcomic.
I don't mean to sound rude, even though I know I will, but every other thread lately, we're mentioning Warbot in Accounting, and yet nobody seems to know about it. Please try and do a little research before asking these things.

I don't know what Warbot in Accounting is, probably because I almost never visit the 8-bit forum and I've never visited the Brian's projects forum.

Here is the awesome thread with awesome robots and awesome accounting. Hopefully he remembers to balance his awesome debits and credits and closes the awesome income summary.
yeah... i didn't know what it was... or that it was a webcomic... until like... yesterday.
I thought it was a comic book he was doing though but it looks promising... better than 8-bit... I dunno.
Sorta.. off this main topic. Are there people planning to take Brian's style and idea with FF1 and do something like 8-bit II or whatever?

Okay I'll be brutally honest for a second.
No one here who has ever expressed interest in continuing 8-Bit Theater is in any capacity able to continue 8-Bit Theater.
Just would like everyone to keep that in mind at all times.
Basically, unless someone wants to prove him wrong, nobody will ever do a damn thing.
Ever.

I doubt it. The nice thing about Final Fantasy's world is that it had very little in the way of backstory or characterization, so Brian was free to do just about anything he wanted with it. If someone were to make a sequel based off of different games in the series, their creativity would be severely limited by what's already there, and they'd end up with a stereotypical sprite comic that uses endless references to the game in lieu of anything creative.
You can't have a sequel comic. I'm sure Brian will guarantee that with his ending. However, you could, theoretically, do a sprite comic in the same spirit.

It WOULD be possible with the original version of FinalFantasy3.... FinalFantasy3 is just as bad at storytelling and "character development" as the first one. :p

To be fair the Warbot info is kinda hard to find these days. Maybe I should make a sticky.

Actually yeah, this thread already does everything one could hope for to answer the question.

This thread is old and outdated as there are two new comics right on the main site, which should make things clear enough. Unsticking.
