Star Trek, the original series.

This coming from someone who never watched the original airing and only saw it after the recent movie. Seriously, what the hell, how is it STILL this good.

EDIT: OH SHIT! I forgot about Dr Horrible! I mean, the title refers to it as a "Sing-along blog," how the hell could it possibly be good but IT IS!

Vote changed to Dr Horrible. Star Trek original series is back up for grabs.

I wasn't going to even guess, but you put Snatch and made me go "Of course, overrated movies!" and then I looked at the choices and realized that Boondock Saints hadn't even been put forth yet and I went for the insta-win.

Hmm...none of you watch Arrested Development or HIMYM, nor read Scott Pilgrim or John Hodgman, so I can't ask for "Best [x] from those" so...

Let's go with "Most Surprisingly Good Piece of Entertainment"

Words of wisdom though, try not to attribute that film too closely to good Brooks, without Wilder we would have never had such a wonderful thing. A truly unappreciated man in film.

Uh excuse me? have you taken a look at my avatar recently? I mean I've been a fan for a while...I only just found the picture but I'm offended here!
So I guess I have to apologize, seeing as (including me) a full 3/27,300ths of NPF has seen Arrested Development...wait a second, that number is so close to zero even Kamina wouldn't be pleased with those odds. My original assertion still stands.

But honestly, you have to think of the game when making topics. If I had done a "Best Arrested Development Moment", it would have been you posting a Franklin clip ("Why do they have to make puppets like Frank?" perhaps), Ape Boy offering his favorite moment (I dunno, the "You don't have enough RAM to cry!" line?), possibly one other person trawling Youtube and finding the mass chicken impersonations clip, and then what? It would be everyone els sitting out until eventually Zilla would barge in, declare the chicken clip the winner, and everyone moves on. Not fun.

Anyways, on to the topic!!

These things I never partook in:
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay/Assault on Dark Athena.
The Riches (Sort of feel bad about this one)
Original Transformers
Deadwood (Actually feel bad about this one)

Up, Lifted - Oh man, something Pixar made is good? My mind, it is blown. (Might have been better to go with Cars, since that one wasn't a critical darling but was still very enjoyable)
NPF - Mo' like "Most Expectedly Shitty," amirite. (ohgodFenristhatwasmeantasajokepleasedon'tbandmefo rbeinguppityorsnobbyIapologizeIapoligizeIapoligize )
Zero Punctuation - Meh.
Pokemon - I think if I first came to Pokemonnow and found a surprisingly deep RPG this would be higher, but I was ten-ish when it first came out so any element of possible surprise was blown out of the water by the deserved hype and spectacle.
Pitch Black - Another one that I enjoyed when it first came out, and as a twelve year old who had been completely enamored with Starship Troopers the promise of another movie about bugs who kill people couldn't have seemed more awesome. (I've also taken precautions to not watch it again with more mature eyes.)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Whos line is it Anyway, Reaper, Dead Like Me - I'm including these together because they are all sort of in the same mold of shows that I came to nuetrally before liking, whereas the true winners of the category would be things that I ended up liking in spite of my mindset when I first started.
Dr. Horrible - For example, going in to this my mindset was "A musical on the web by Joss Whedon?" but it turned out not too bad. It would be higher, but only if before Dr. Horrible NPH hadn't proven how great he was on HIMYM.
Star Trek Movie - And this one, understandably, was "Star Trek? So?" as my only experience with Trekdom was Futurama homages and the attendant nerdery. Even my trust in J.J. Abrams was a little flustered, but then I remembered that he made MI:3 work and went in just a teensy bit apprehensive.
Better Off Ted - Oh man, isn't that title just horrendous, and the commercials seemed to be made by some Bizzaro Mad Men who set out to make it as unappealing as possible. The fact that it was somewhat decent, and at times quite funny, is almost miracle-esque.
In Bruges - But truly, out of all the choices given, this is the clear winner. I mean, who goes into a movie painted as a screwball comedy starring Colin Farrel expecting anything but dreck? To walk out pleased and unashamed is nearly masterwork. So RR, it's yours.

The two ultimate insta-wins would have been Kung Fu Panda (A Dreamworks kung-fu Jack Black vehicle isn't some crass pop-culture reference parade but is actually an amazingly good looking actual kung fu movie?) or How I Met Your Mother (A three camera CBS sitcom is actually one of the best sitcoms of the decade? Come on.)

Well, yeah, when it's the only show your Shire can pick up I'm sure it's going to be huge, but when it actually ran on Fox it was sort of jerked around the schedule, then had episode orders cut, then just got unceremoniously cancelled where it waited around for people to find the DVDs and spread the word. At this point the fans of the show have to make up in volume what they lack in numbers.

I'm not, but I have a pretty good idea of what it is anyway. So:

Flat Hats:
Red and White Striped Top Hat - Ugh, get it away! I'd much rather see somebody else wearing that hat.
Pac Hat - Say what you want, all I can think of is those cat ears right now.
Santa Hat - Having been forced to wear this every christmas somewhat takes the charm out of it.
Beer Hat - I might like this a lot more when I start drinking. And going to ballparks.
Coolie - Well, in the race of lookalikes, I'd rather be wearing a lampshade than this, but only a little bit.
Lampshade - See above. Also there aren't any good lampshades in my area.
Pancake - A rabbit did it. A cat did it. Why can't I do it? Well, mainly because after a couple days I'm not letting that thing get anywhere near my head!
Jamaican Tam Cap - I didn't wear these in high school because at my school only stoners and jerks wore them. They might have a future if I ever manage to get one over my hair.

Phat Hats:
Whatever the hell Archbio's thing is - That's pretty badass, but I'm sure the effect is diminished somewhat on a dude.
Coonskin Cap - Warm? Yes. Stylin? Yes. Year round? Nope. EDIT: Oh yeah, didn't that jerk in a Christmas Story wear one of those, too?
Derby - I always assume people wearing these are bald because they're just too round.
Top Hat - Fashionable, but it doesn't quite make the statement I'm going for (let me get back to you on what exactly that statement is).
Sombrero - Would get more points if I could get through narrow doorways with it. :D
Gilgamesh - As I've said before, flames and spikes make ANYTHING better. This hat is no exception.
Pirate - I love this, but I rather not have the navy on my tail, savvy?
Fedora - Ah, the classic gentlemen's hat. Usable by almost anyone, extremely versatile and light, this hat makes it to the final round, but there are even better ones here.
Soviet Commissar Hat - I was seriously considering giving this first place out and out, but military hats just aren't quite as fashionable as

That Hat:
The Deerstalker - One man made it internationally famous, and that's all it took. When you're wearing one of these, people know you know what the hell you're doing. You are not a guy to mess with. Also, the flaps come down, which is great when it's really cold out.

Congrats Smarty, you take home the gold.
Other top contenders (but by no means insta-wins) would have been the Trilby, the Ushanka, and whatever hat Bartholomew Cubbins was wearing in that one Dr. Seuss book.

Oh, and a consolatory prize for Bookie:

Yeah sorry, was going to do it yesterday but I fell asleep really early.

Couldn’t Answer
Moogs- Three’s Company- Couldn’t find on Youtube and doing this fast. Never seen it either.
Fifthfiend- Nothing- While a good answer it wouldn’t be fair to rank it.

Everyone else:
Krogothwolf-Enterprise- What a terrible song on top of it. Doesn’t get you at all reading for watching super space action. Other star trek themes would have done well.

Overcast- Deadwood- Don’t know what to say, I got bored watching it once.

42Pet- Bill Nye- Ahh! Too much going on!

Si Civa- Buffy- Odd opening, all the shots in it are framed pretty much the same way meaning a whole lot of action shots end up quite dull.

Fenris- 60 minutes- I assume you mean just the big ticking clock (that is opening we get to 60 minutes, may be different else). Not as pretentious as most openings and you know what you going to get and doesn’t take up valuable show time. So it’s good but not great.

ApeBoy- House MD- Simple but very effective. The only shot of the cast coming at the end works nicely and is built up to by the music. Only problem is that images themselves, while they work together, have not a lot of meaning and thus it feels a bit lost.

Hawk- Farscape- Start and end are quite good and I like the use of chanting at the end but too many cast shots of people just standing around. Doesn’t fit with all the spaceships and things.

ArchiBio-Carnivale- Nice transitions through the images and good mix of imagery, but it is a bit too long especially for a piece of music that is a bit repetitive.

Blues- Spiderman- WTF was that?

RA- CSI Las Vegas- Good song, matches the intro quite well, pumps you up.

Seil- Saved by the Bell- Really epitomises the early 90s, and an appropriate song which is completely non-pretentious and totally cheesy. Did what it set out to achieve. Not higher because it didn’t set out to achieve much.

Keresnky- Magic School Bus- Was pretty cool. Don’t have any real complaints, just wasn’t as good as next ones.

Zilla- The Sopranos- Nothing beats the old driving scene. Music needs to be slowed down a little but aside from that it’s great.

Bookie-Dexter- Delightfully playful and well matched song and visuals. Only problem is that it is slightly too long.

TWG-Cheers- I have never watched an episode in my life and I know that song off by heart. Song inspires in you exactly the image that they were going for and makes you feel welcome and invited. Fits in well with the images as well and never really gets old. Intros are designed to welcome you to a show and this intro has really perfected making you feel welcome.

Bah a bad guess from me. Rare, but sometimes the tastes don't work right, I might have gone with Dexter on another period, but more likely I would have done my initial gut and picked Six Feet Under. Neither would have won to Cheers though, for if you like it then you will never put it below anything else.

Ahh it's alright, I was back and forth on it. I was really into the Six Feet Under one though, I just put Deadwood because I thought you might appreciate the music a bit more. And thus I learned a bit more today about what direction I should go in. Rather happy Buffy got low on the list though, risking my well being I never did like Buffy that much.

And now, tasting and judgement.

Musicals I have not seen:
R|Я-Pippin
greed-The Producers (Although I have heard the premise, and Hitler: The Musical sounds very funny indeed.)
Smarty McBarrelpants-We Will Rock You
krogothwolf-Spamalot (I heard a sampling of the songs, but it just didn't do it for me. I do love Monty Python though.)
Rejected Again-Across the Universe.
Seil-Evil Dead.
42PETUNIAS-Wicked.
Osterbaum-Hair.
Archbio-Into the Woods.
Ape Boy-Mama Mia

And now for the ones I have seen:
The Wizard Who Did It-The Lion King There are better Disney musicals.

bluestarultor-The Sound of Music. I like it well enough, but the competition was just too fierce.

Moogle0119-Grease Again, a good musical, but I really like the other choices presented.

Death by Stabbing-Sweeny Todd I really liked it, especially My Friends (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sh-qbXqGm5M&feature=related) wherein he sings a song about his blades. (I also love that Death by Stabbing chose Sweeny Todd. Well done, sir. Well done, indeed.)

Overcast-The Blues Brothers A lead in to one of the best car chases in cinema. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHa_jqxnn4o) Also, has some great Motown music. (Even if the movie is called Blues Brothers, it certainly felt more like Motown to me.)

Mr.Bookworm-Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog Perfectly captures wanting to tell another person how you feel. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfaXt1rC2G0) Love this one.

Masked Jedi-Rocky Horror I've seen both the movie and a stage production. Many great memories to be had here. Who can deny the power of the one-two punch of The Time Warp and Sweet Transvestite? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWXoFAaZ11M) (I heard them playing The Time Warp in Disneyworld for crying out loud.) Truth be told, I prefer the music in Shock Treatment though.

Who takes it? Whose cuisine reigns supreme?

Avenue Q (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtYzsRMaQpo)?
Using the Phoenix Wright characters really put this one ahead of the pack. A musical about real life and the real situations we find ourselves in, all with hilarious jokes and insights along the way.

No Gigi (http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/index/?cid=97887), Moulin Rouge (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaqYgWc8-vs), Chicago (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYt2hTGAGAk), South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB-oiuPDnco), Yellow Submarine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCsYDZ2M04M), or The Wall (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_bvT-DGcWw)? For shame!

Never saw Avenue Q to my dismay, but I heard the puppetry is a wonder. I will concede my unfortunate loss to Rocky and Horrible though, they are definitely ties for my favs, but since I saw The Blues Brothers first they got priority. Also because there are many folks from that movie that aren't alive anymore I need to honor with distant suggestion.

Aaaand it's over! Nobody got the auto-win, for shame. Now for the order:

Not particularly annoying/"Meh, it happens":
Overcast - Last minute plot failure - There are plenty of times that this happens and it sucks, but hey, sequels.
Ape Boy - Every media ever - It's a fact of life that celebrities will be objectified and some people have no excitement in their lives but what they experience through others.
Osterbaum - Average NPFer - Most of you guys kinda run together in my head. It's less of an annoyance and more of a mental-disability-pity.
Lumenskir - LOL - ololol u thot i h8 intern3t lingo ur wrong olol. But seriously, it's much faster to type than "hahahahaha", and it's an easy response.
CelesJessa - Game failure - I actually like when this happens sometimes. It gives me an excuse to go back and play it again later, resulting in me getting more than my money's worth.
Bluestarultor - Being the bad guy's pawn - Not a pet peeve, more of a plot device that is used often enough that I'm numb to it.

Gets on my nerves:
Zilla - Close-talkers - Yeah, what the hell? Personal space! Bonus points if they smell bad, have a skin condition/illness, or talk louder than what is considered normal.
Honorable Mention Si Civa - LOL in real life - Yeah, this wasn't an official answer, but it goes here anyway. It's an awkward sound to make, and laughing happens normally. Why replace it?
Barrelface McSmartypants - Pretentious people - If done intentionally/for laughs, a good time can be had by all. If done without trying, causes murderous desires.
krogothwolf - Stupid argument people - Sometimes it's annoying, like if the person just argues with everything you say, but occasionally helps pass the time as you argue for/against the merits of, say, the government of the Imperium of Man.
GARUD - Internet assholes with no life - This plus Greater Internet Dickwad theory results in the ruination of some perfectly good internets. Bonus points because most of these people do it on purpose, or could stop if they thought about it for a second.
42 - Internet assholes with more life than you - Yeah, come on, guys! Stop rubbing it in our faces. Go out and have an orgy with your 16 girlfriends. You don't need to spend time around here and you know it.
Wizard Who Did It - Bullshit presentations - Come on, presenter! You get paid for this! Have some fucking pride, maybe! At least learn how to spell WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!
Nikose Tyris - Monkey people - Monkeys aren't usual domestic pets, and it's for good reason! Geez, imagine the smell.

What REALLY grinds my gears:
deanh22a - Braggart Superheroes - "We get it! You can levitate, get over yourself!" Lucky bastards can punt a car across a continent, but they can't learn a little humility...
Rejected again - Freeloaders - Ugh, YES! Fuck those people! Generosity is not a one-way street! And then they act all hurt when you refuse to help them despite them doing the same to you ALWAYS!
Fifthfiend - Immovable human walls - Why does this always happen when you're both in a rush?! The only solution I've found is an Assassin's Creed-style gentle push to one side. Or an Assassin's Creed-style assassination.

And the ultimate, all-time winner, which as made me want to eat my own head on more than one occasion (read: Crisis Core, every Phoenix Wright game, a ton more)...

Archbio - Linear plots that you can totally see the end result of and you don't want it to happen but you can't fucking control it because it's a linear game and THAT'S HOW IT HAPPENS AUUUUGH.

Goddammit! I KNOW Zack has to die at the end of Crisis Core! But fuck you, I've got 99999 health, I kill 10 soldiers per attack, I can dodge anything you throw at me, and I have about 50 Phoenix Downs to boot! I can kill the entire population of the CITY, but instead you just pit me against unlimited soldiers! And speaking of Phoenixes, DAMMIT why do Cross-Examinations in the Ace Attorney games always have to go a certain way? I KNOW she couldn't see past the rock outcropping, but the plot demands that I ask a different question first, get shot down, and THEN show the real contradiction or else the judge yells at me! FUUUUCK.

Archbio gets it next. You deserved it. Now I have to go punch something.

Auto wins, in ascending order, would have been oblivious elderly people, people who unconsciously make annoying noises.... and being interrupted. Goddammit, I HATE being interrupted. Is it so hard to wait 5 seconds for me to finish?

Wow, I got to bitch and complain for like 3 paragraphs. This game is awesome.

Kristoph Gavin - I have no idea who that it. Plus: huh?
Jon Irenicus - I do know who that is, but I didn't make it through the game so I'm not familiar enough.

Cut:

Albert Wesker - Your basic traitor.
Count Rugen - Great comeuppance, but I've forgotten the actual villainy.
Scrappy Doo - The avatar may have fooled you!
Kefka - He's good at being a villain, that's for sure.

Top 10:

10th - Sylar - Brains! Foreshadowing! Good thing I only saw season one.
9th - The Joker - Some fantastic portrayals, but that's only because so much work went into what's seen as an iconic character. Many awful, awful portrayals.
8th - Ernst Stavros Blofeld - Makes the cat thing work.
7th - Vader - Tragic hero? Chokes people with a thought!
6th - Gul Dukat - Weyoun expressing doubts about Dukat's sanity: "I had no idea."

5th - Megatron - Yesss.
4th - The T-1000 - It's a terminator, but it goes so deep into cybernetic organism territory it might also be enjoying its work.
3rd - Dr. Doom - Pure noble villain archetype. That other one was a doombot.
2nd - GLaDOS - I'm surprised no other villainous AIs were suggested, but this one is just unique.
1st - Sauron - The Enemy

Umm, the guy was at least a douche. He gave 9 of his rings to humans and turned them into wraiths. Also, the One Ring is supposed to control all the others, right? So give all the others to powerful people and rule the world.

It even says somewhere in there that the elves were just plain too smart to ever use the ones he gave them, which sort of says something.

Not Jazz
Mashed Potato Johnson (deanh22a) - Not real, not jazz, not good.
Steely Dan (Nikose Tyris) - Also, not a person. Although, I do like their music.
B.B. King (42PETUNIAS) - He was a legendary blues guitarist who was very good. At blues.
Scatman John (Zilla) - I'm not sure what genre this guy falls into but it's certainly not jazz.

Jazz

11) Brian Martin (Seil) - I'm not good enough. Give me a few years.
10) Herbie Mann (Archbio) - I hadn't heard of him, so I looked him up on Wikipedia and Youtube, and was thoroughly unimpressed
9) Kenneth Gorelick (Fifthfiend) - I actually like him, but he hasn't done anything revolutionary.
8) Thelonius Monk (Smarty McBarrelpants) - I haven't heard much of his playing, but I do like some of his compositions.
7) Louis Armstrong (bluestarultor) - Dude needs to shut up and play.
6) Miles Davis (Mr.Bookworm) - One of the greatest trumpet fakers of all time, and a solid composer, but I'm a bigger fan of big band stuff.
5) Charlie "Bird" Parker (The Wandering God) - A fantastic saxophonist who redefined jazz. I don't have much of his stuff, though.
4) Duke Ellington (Rejected Again) - Introduced Latin Jazz. Gets major props for that.
3) John Coltrane (Ape Boy) - My personal favorite saxophonist. Incredible. His 13-minute version of "My Favorite Things" is one of my favorite things songs.
2) Yoko Kanno (POS Industries) - Her compositions are some of my favorites ever.
1) Count Basie (krogothwolf) - After thinking about it, he's definitely one of my favorites. The fact that he managed to get a big band full of incredible musicians together, his distinct big band sound, and the way he played jazz piano gets him the top spot out of these contenders.

My two auto-wins would have been JJ Johnson (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxUj2fKFX7A) and Wycliffe Gordon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqpjf65FpV0&feature=related), who are the two black men in these two videos. Out of those two, JJ would have won, though.

6) Sidney Crosby - RA: Great Player and extremely gifted with on Ice vision but whines and dives way to much for my taste
5) Dion Phanuef - Mr. Bookworm: Good Offensive Defenceman but makes to many idiotic plays in own End
4) Daniel Alfredsson - Kerensky287: Great player and doesn't get the credit he is due in Ottawa
3) Olli Jokinen - 42Petunias: Good Centerman but tends to disappear during big games
2) Jerome Iginla - Ape Boy: Great Player, Great Leader but he's not my overall favourite
1) Cameron Ward - SMB: Very Good Goaltender and first Rookie Goalie to lead time to stanly cup since Roy did it in '86 and first rookie goalie to win Conn since Hextall in '87. Main reason he is my fav on this list of players, I grew up playing against him

The only 2 who could have beaten out Ward were Alexander Ovechkin, the most prolific scorer in the NHL right now and Ryan Getzlaf since I watched him play in Juniors.

Take it away SMB. Oh and it was the Canadians that invented this sport :p Not the americans!

Hey, I'm a huge flame fan, but Getzlaf played for the Calgary Hitmen in juniors and I watched him play there and I love how he plays the game. Ovechkin is a marvel to be hold! My favourite flame is actually David Moss to be honest, the guy is a sparkeplug and trooper, the dudes sweet. But since I grew up playing against Ward I have him on my top 3 list. The guy was amazing back then! I aint no damn traitor!

He said "not just", not "just not". SMB was saying it can be any kind of humorist, it doesn't have to be an actor or stand-up, not that it couldn't be.

Be online sporadically next few days so I call it
Pretty much all guesses were excellent, this was very hard.
Andy Kauffman would have won (narrowly), Camus would have also done well as I’m convinced his whole life was an elaborate and hilarious joke. Seinfeld always a good guess.

People I don’t know enough about:
KrogothWolf- Russel Peters- Only thing I’ve seen was your youtube link but didn’t seem particularly original and didn’t make me laugh.
Archbio- Richard Pryor- I’ve only really seen him in Superman 3.

42- Dane Cook- Ugh.

Garud- Wayne Brady- My main exposure to him is through Whose Line. I’m not a big fan of the improv comedy circuit and especially not on tv where you have no chance to get involved.

Lewis Black- ApeBoy- Mostly I know him from the Daily show. He’s pretty funny but I’m putting him lower than others simply because I don’t know of his broader works where he’s outpaced.

SSB- Demetri Martin- I know him from Daily Show and Flight of the Concords- Reasonably funny but nothing spectacular.

Bookie- Hodgeman- Funny. That’s about all I have to say. Haven’t read his almanacs unfortunately, if I had he would probably be higher as I like literary comedy a lot.

TWG- Eric Idle- I prefer Eric Idle as a Python to Cleese as he did lots of jokes about communication and language which is an interest of mine. Lower than Cleese because of Faulty Towers mostly.

Zilla- Klevies- Jokes on the audience always hilarious! Would probably be higher if I had read say Nuklear Age or Atomic Robo. Yahtzee would be a bit lower mostly because his review quality has dropped markedly lately and his jokes seem to have gotten worse for no apparent reason.

Moogs- Mitch Hedberg- I adore his style. It totally genius. Just loses out to the all-around power of the laters.

Ravashak- John Cleese- Wrote some of my favourite Python sketches and Fawlty Towers is awesome. His non-python/towers work is generally pretty terrible and I don’t find him convincing in work penned by others.

Overcast- Groucho Marx- Not my favourite Marx brother (that would be Zeppo who played a masterful straight man as well as being able to fill in for all the normal roles of the other brothers) but they did great work with what they had at the time. Duck Soup is an absolute classic. Loses points for their act remaining pretty much the same throughout the years.

Rejected Again- Robin Willaims- A great improviser. Apparentely the scripts for Aladdin had bits that said “Robin does something funny here”. Lose points for a mild case of Steve Martin disease- ie a hilarious comedian who stares in terrible movies.

Greed- Charlie Chaplin- I remember being very reluctant to watch a Chaplin movie before I had seen one because I’m not a fan of slapstick comedy at all. But Chaplin had me rolling in the aisles. Takes a style I absolutely hate and makes it fully hilarious. A great showman.

Fifth- George W Bush- A hilarious stage persona who never breaks character in the vein of Kauffman. Would win if he was a bit more subtle. Too over the top for me.

Si Civa- Terry Pratchett- Bit of fanboyism here. Terry Pratchett is totally hilarious and I love his works, particularly the way he is able to weave compelling stories into hilarious jokes.

Krylo- Johnathan Swift- Pretty much my perfect comedian. While he remains funny, his work also raises important points that get you thinking and he writes a good story in the mean-time. His masterstroke comes in the prefaces to Gulliver’s travels where he remains totally in character complaining about the publisher messing up the tales of his journeys.

Take it away, Krylo.

Never Played:
Hawk-MGS3-Nor any other MGS game. Not sure why.

42-Laser Tag-Never really had an opportunity. I'm sure it'd score pretty high if I had opportunity to play laser tag ever, though.

Kerensky-Strip Poker-I consider this a spectator sport. I also find that most people who do play strip poker shouldn't be naked.

krogothwolf-Mega Man 2-I've played 1 and 3. Neither would have won, though, so don't feel bad. Also don't know why people think they were so mind fuckingly hard, but then I beat Battle Toads.

Si Civa-Baldur's gate 2-Sounds good, though.

10-Seil-The NPF Ban Screen-I'm not angry enough to really enjoy this these days. Also, it's more a job than a game.

9-Rejected Again-Candy land-Maybe if I were still seven.

8-Ape Boy-Super Metroid-It's a pretty good game, but I haven't picked it up since it was new, soooooo...

7-Archbio-Chess-I like chess, but I don't like it enough to learn the metagame, which makes it hard to enjoy.

6-Overcast-Fallout 3-I really love Fallout 3, but I also really love all the other games beyond this point. Hard choice to be sure.

5-Zilla & Moogle-My two favorite Zeldas-I'm not even going to bother trying to decipher which of these is better as that neither wins, anyway. However, Zelda is always a solid guess. It's the only reason I keep buying Nintendo consoles. Majora's Mask is tied with these two as well. TP just below them, then the original two games, and WW would rate lower than the ban screen due to lacking difficulty and sailing.

4-Fifthfiend-DMC3-This is one of my all time favorites, but I can't conscieably rate it higher than CT, FF6, or Lunar:SSS

3-Mr.Bookworm-Chrono Trigger-Honestly, at this point it's really really hard to rate these, but looking back at Alex and Terra instills more fond memories than Crono.

2-The Wandering God-Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete-One of the best RPGs ever created with one of the best soundtracks and some of the best voice acting. I almost feel bad putting FF6 over it.

1-Smarty McBarrelpants-Final Fantasy 6-I don't know that there has been an RPG which contained half the quality of FF6 made since. Xenogears came close until the last disk, and FF12 was rolling good until the story started falling apart near the end. Those are the only two that I think of. Well other than the Lunar games. Obviously.

That said, Risk probably would have edged out a win over FF6. Maybe second place. Axis and allies would have also scored well, though I've only had opportunity to play a handful of times, as would Civ:IV--though I haven't played the earlier Civ games.

Anyway, it's your game Barrelhater.

Kerensky287

Admittedly, strip poker was a joke submission, but I never would've guessed FF6. It's not exactly in my top 10 favourite FF games.
