Judging from the trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcoPxyxpE9A), no, no he is not.
But yeah, first actual trailer, and from the little we get I'm kinda pumped. After the recent bout of 'Good' Nazi movies it should be fun to see a bunch of Allies just go to town in a torrent of stylized blood and mayhem.

With Brad Pitt.
This will either completely and utterly fail or be completely and utterly awesome. I'm not seeing much middle ground.
EDIT: Also, Samuel L. Jackson is narrating.
Wow.

Eli Roth as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz: "A baseball bat-swinging Nazi hunter" who is known as "The Bear Jew" among Nazis. Some of them seem to believe that Donowitz is in fact, a vengeful golem.
Well I'm sold.

Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, Samuel L Jackson.
All brought together under Quentin Tarantino to make a violent movie about ruining Nazi shit.
How could this possibly go wrong? I'm gonna see this on opening night if I can.

I had imagined it a lot differently, although I don't know why.

It's like movie representations of WWII have finally caught up to video game representations of WWII. Right done to the bad voice acting.
Seriously, Brad, what is up with that terrible accent?

I'm just glad that WWII is actually being used as a setting for actual movies instead of being reserved solely for middlebrow, washed out tripe.
Also, this is possibly the only movie where the chance of seeing Ryan the Temp holding Hitler's arms back so that Neal Schweiber can freely kick him in the nuts is > 0%.

With the amount of world war 2 movies already existing I'm sure anyones tastes could be satiated no matter how depraved.

Me too, but it looks good still. Besides, Quentin Tarantino hasn't dissapointed yet.

Oh, it looks absolutely great. For some reason when I heard Tarantino was making a WWII movie I just thought "oh, interesting, I guess he's trying for something serious." Seeing this trailer I don't know what I was thinking. It's bloody Quentin Tarantino, what did I honestly expect!
... I'm suddenly extremely curious how this movie will get received over here. Absolutely positive more than one critic will say things like "it's questionable whether it's in good taste to use WWII as a backdrop for this sort of violence" or "sadly, the movie fails to really convey the horrors of the Third Reich." To which everyone will of course reply, it's bloody Quentin Tarantino, what did you honestly expect!
Maybe I should have tried to get in as an extra after all. They held the auditions just around the corner from here. Truth is, I just couldn't be arsed to stand in the queue for four hours. :sweatdrop

They cast actual Germans in a WW2 movie? Preposterous!
