Old thread was getting unwieldy for me, so here we is.
You know the drill. We're building a database of searchable transcripts for nuklearpower.com. Basically, our own personal ohnorobot-like service. And I need your help! And by "help" I mean I need you to do all the hard work!
Okay! I totally lost track of who's still with us and who isn't. So, if you're interested in participating some more or for the first time, leave a post declaring your interest!
And if you previously de-volunteered yourself, let me know again in this topic.

How to format this thang
1. Create a .txt file and name it the number of the comic you're doing. So, Episode 001 would be 001.txt. Episode 023 would be 023.txt. And so on. Easy!
2. Open the file and get to work! Start by recording all the named characters. If you don't know the name of a character, just post in this topic with a link to the comic in question. If a character is unnamed, then you don't have to name him/her/it.
3. TYPE UP ALL THE DIALOG! Include non-dialog text you'll find on things like signs, banners, narration, graphs, etc. If/when you find typos, use correct spelling when you record it in the .txt file.
4. Don't worry about punctuation. Commas, periods, semi-colons, all that stuff, just skip it. Skip capitalization too if you like. DO include spaces between every word. You can record the dialog as one large block of text or put a line break between every line. Doesn't matter on my end, so what works best for you is what you should do.
5. DO NOT list which character is speaking which line. It doesn't matter. DO NOT write descriptions. They don't matter.
6. When you're done with all 20, put them into a .zip or .rar file and e-mail them to me at my nuklearpower.com address (http://www.nuklearpower.com/contact/).
Post any questions you may have.

Alright, I totally haven't been slacking. Not me, nuh-uh. Been hard at work at that 601-620, I have. You can bet yer spinach on that.
And now that that is cleared up, you will have no allusions, illusions or delusions that I may have been slacking when I ask questions like does this old guy (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/09/20/episode-601-possession-is-nine-tenths-of-the-law/) have a name, as I know he was in previous episodes, do the monsters (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/06/episode-608-teleporting-never-screws-anyone/) in (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/11/episode-610-logic/) the (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/13/episode-611-did-you-see-the-new-poof/) castle (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/29/episode-618-tough-love/) of ordeals have names, and what name do I call this (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/18/episode-613-mirror-master/) guy (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/22/episode-615-the-other-final-solution/).

Yeah, I got hit in the face with standardized tests a little after I signed up for this, so I was a bit busy what with the studying for my insignificant life. Thats all done now, though, so I should be back on to translating this cthulian writing of yours into text pretty soon.

Sent in 601-620. Taking a break but sill do another one later this week or next week if they are not finished yet.
I was curious when reading this one. (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/20/episode-614-escalations/) I know it's funnier this way so that's how it was written, but did Black Mage ever actually know it was Onion Kid that he orphaned? Twice.
Also Grargh (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/10/11/episode-610-logic/)?

Ok, I wanted to test the search function, and the last thing on my mind when I thought of this was 'ho' as I had just finished reading Megaman FTW's post, and found a problem.
If you enter 'ho' into the string search, it brings up many comics that do not have the single word 'ho' in it, but comics which have words that have a consecutive 'h' and 'o' within them. Example, Episode #001 has 'who' and 'how', and Episode #002 has 'hours' and 'hour'.
Now, it may not be a big deal, as I cannot think of any other words people would search for that is commonly found within other words. People don't normally search for just 'a' 'in' 'the' 'or' or 'an' or anything like that, but I can imagine one searching for something similar to 'ho' that has less of a pronounish/conjuctivative usage.
So, thought I might bring that up in case it seems pertinent to ya.
EDIT: Fun fact. Every episode contains either the word 'in' or a word that has a consecutive 'i' and 'n' within it. Prove me wrong and I'll buy you a milkshake.
SUPER EDIT: http://www.nuklearpower.com/page/14/?s=in&key=transcript Scroll down and you'll see the problem.

There are no characters shown in this episode, but it is obvious that BM and Fighter are talking at least half of it. Should I just list all 4 or none at all?
EDIT: Also we put ANY character with a name in the comic at the top, right? not just those that speak.

Listing this here so you also have record of it of the only things I had trouble with (character names):
705, 706, 707, 709 the old woman with black mage I went with the name Ms. Elderly Lady that the guards spoke of during their conversation with Black Mage.
705 - The merchant I went with the name Cobblepot since that is what store black mage was in and by the signs.
710, 711, 712, 713 The guards are just listed as guards
717 The mayor is listed as mayor
719 The monster is listed as just monster
It's all sent for you. I hope that's how you like them.
Edit: I'd also like to point out they were pretty damn funny and I never read those ones before.

I found it but thanks anyway. Would i do that with or without the '?
also i know you answered a question about hyphens already, but should something like air-sub be written "air sub" or "airsub"
Hyphen found (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2001/04/06/episode-013-the-dramatic-flashback/) if you search "two-fisted" it finds the comic, but two fisted and twofisted bring up nothing.

List it as airsub. List it as two, fisted, and two-fisted.

Here's a list of all the outstanding batches. If you're on the list but you did finish your batch, then I'm dumb and lost it somehow, so please resend it. If you're on this list and have NOT finished your batch, please find the time to do it.
