Hurray. Comic number 2!

The company is called Weyland? Bwhahaha.

Warbot is pretty formal isn't he? What with wearing his tie whilst doing an obstacle course.

Awwwwww.....poor Warbot. At least he gave it a good try in the name of team spirit.

Heh. It's almost like there's only one image of Warbot. Makes me wonder how much range of motion those arms and legs actually have.

I love the fact that jokes have been, so far, merely implied and not outright stated. I've rarely seen slice of life comedy done well, but this is definitely it.

I also have to say that this comic would have been entirely impossible without a talented artist behind it, as that so much of the humor in the last two have been purely visual. The way Warbot seems to pause and stare at the net before we see the aftermath. Almost like he's staring in trepidation. Equally hilarious was in the first comic when he stared at the papers and the fax machine for quite awhile, as if trying to figure out how to operate them with his large weaponsgrade 'hands', and then staring straight ahead after crushing the fax. The emotion warbot manages to convey is pretty great.

I have to completely agree. The subtle nature of Warbot took me completely by surprise (in a good way) in the first comic and delivers yet again in this comic. It is a complete 180 from what I was expecting, and that is a good thing. I'm really enjoying Warbot.

I do, however, worry that the jokes will become old fast and a glaring lack of a story. But most webcomics start out episodic, find their footing, and then develop a story, so I am not holding it against Warbot right now.

Keep up the good work!

Brian and I have realized where most comics can work with just four panels per comic update, Warbot has to have the entire story told in one comic. Otherwise the particular humor that this comic has would be lost.

I think I'm saying this right.

It takes some broad vision... but i can't see Warbot running out of fuel any time soon. The sheer amount of possibilities (and the chosen way of execution) are great.

Actually, it reminds me a bit of Super Effective (http://www.vgcats.com/super/) Only, you know... better.

Well, it does kinda burst right out at you.

Very in your face, in fact.

Still, I'd almost go so far to say that it's out of this world.

Something for Ripley's Believe It or Not, perhaps?

The queen of all references.

Okay, I'll stop now. Game over, man. Game over.

Also agreed. Well stated, Krylo, and well done, Brian and Zack. I think this will be an enjoyable comic.

I particularly enjoy the fact that in the last panel, Warbot is looking back at the net under/above him. Sort of a 'I'll get you one day, gadget' moment.

A certain fictional company that has appeared in a multitude of other works! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weyland-Yutani)

We can't completely tell from the strip but his colleagues are not doing a good job with the whole team work thing. I'm pretty sure Warbot classifies as clinically obese what with his weight.

What a health and safety hazard this is! He should sue and go through the long and tedious court hearings thus changing the title of the strip to Warbot in Court Room proceedings.

...Reflecting on that, I'm not sure which one would be worse/better at this point in time.

Weyland and Yutani are legendary smiths in Eurpoean and Japanese fairy tales, respectively. Betcha didn't know that.

Fun comic and all that. Soo when is bring your children to work day? :D

Warbot will bring a microwave.

I find it kind of sad that nobody thought to try and help him up, and I can imagine him lying there for weeks before somehow getting out of the predicament.

Thats why the comic makes me feel sad. I laugh at Warbot, but then I feel bad for it.

Your comic makes me feel like a horrible person, and is funny. Not many individuals could have pulled that one off.

That's what dark humor should be. You have to pay for every laugh with a piece of your soul. This (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fyra_nyanser_av_brunt) movie is a great example. ^_^

<3 Warbot in Accounting. I love how they pose for the picture and Warbot is still upside down, partially embedded in the dirt.

Ok, so here's the story as I've interpreted it so far:

The scene is a post AI uprising, with the humans the victors. Not content to just dismantle them piece by piece back to their non-contemplative states, they give the maleficent robots day jobs, to give them a harrowing (and humiliating) glimpse into the futility of the sentience that they so crave.

Of course, with Warbot as the protagonist, I'd like to think he was just in the wrong place in the wrong time, but you can totally tell everyone's hoping that those ropes won't be able to support him.

:D

PS: You should make a emoticon for warbot, but set a filter so that any post with it is just the emoticon.

EDIT: Smartass FAQs. This is what happens when you type while stupid.

Warbot Wright: Attorney at Law.

He wouldn't have to do much. Just look sad like he is all the time, not saying a word. Everyone would get uncomfortable and just give the win to him

In the general spirit of this kind of thing. (http://www.theonion.com/content/news/plan_to_start_little_stationery?utm_source=a-section)

That I can't wait to see. Right now he's hovering around the "Hang in there" cat poster you see in offices in terms of sadness. I think some real dark comedy will be better, maybe some schadenfreude, though he might just look too freakin' sad to enjoy that properly.

This (http://www.theonion.com/content/news/plan_to_start_little_stationery?utm_source=a-section) could be Warbot's previous career.

Okay I just incidentally found that story and thought, Warbot. :)

Will Warbot speak at all? And will there be reoccurring characters?

And when will we get to a comic where somebody mistakes Warbot for the vending machine? And will live ammo be involved?

There seems to already be one, though it may be too soon to tell. The guy who says "Don't forget to press 9!" in the first comic is also in the second ones picture, kneeling on the bottom right.

I bet he'll be warbots bestest human friend. Yes, I said bestest

I'll have to post some of Zack's concept art for the office workers. There will definitely be a recurring cast. As for the topic of speech, that's been covered (http://www.nuklearpower.com/warbot/warfaq/).

Because they ARE ammo?

Or is that a gatling laser powered by his internal power supply? That'd be pretty rad.

I just have one question: When is Warbot going to do any accounting, and will there at any point be a love triangle involving Warbot and the coffee maker?

... Okay, so that's technically two questions. The point is, I'm tired and should really get to bed.

I'm probably late, but, uh, good job. Warbot is a lot funnier than I thought it would be. Every comic is really surprisingly amusing.

But it's a decent bit Dilbert too, or so I believe.
