This is a poll.
My ideas for the "Mauve Buys Milk" storyline incorporate bits from the Zombiepocolypse as well, and with Mauve and I running it, I think it should turn out nicely.

as long as there's zombies and cheese(which comes from milk) and brand spanking new premonitions gets to be naked, I'm happy

I've always wanted to try an RP, and Avvy seems the way to go.
The Zombiepocalypse is the scenario that interests me enough to do anything about it.

Do we have any guidelines as to what OUR characters can or cannot be?
Also... GOOOOOO Milk!

Your character is you. You, if you lived in the madhouse of magic, super-tech, and internet-flavored weirdness that is NPF. It's a lot easier if you've been in some comics or something, but it's in no way necessary. Just make a character that's like how you think are seen here/how you want to be seen here.
Also, being a god is passé.

Do we have any guidelines as to what OUR characters can or cannot be? Generally, super-overpowered characters are frowned on. We let a lot slide, but you can't be entirely invincible and supremely powerful. It's a very good idea to have some weaknesses.
So basically, no characters that are immune to every attack known to man, and no characters who can blow up the universe just by looking at it funny.

I ask mostly because you guys seem to be trying to steer a bit away from past Avvys right? So, i gather, there is no need to "comply with the theme" here, right?

Only certain elements of past Avvies. So yeah, do whatever you like, just make sure your character isn't too godmoddy.

I vote for the Zombieapocalypse.
And since I am playing as my new class and what not, having knowledge on the zombie apocalypse (go go World War Z and Zombie Survival Guide)

My vote goes to "Mauve And His Quest For The Lactose Item Known As Milk." However I would be very pleased if elements of the zombiepocalypse and time travel were implemented as mentioned in the previous thread.

Poll closes in 3 days, just an fyi in case you didn't notice. Should there be a clear winner at that point, the winner can start up their stuffs. If there's a tie, I'll make another poll.

Probably gonna be in, and more as actually myself than as a character designed to just do interesting and completely random things for no reason. More importantly, my vote.... I'm not too sure but its likely that with the current lead it won't matter.

If theres zombies in in Mauve buys milk can they be zombie Mobsters with tommyguns and the like? Some of them atleast? I've been feeling Godfather-ish and I bet it could only add to the fun!
Also, is there some kind of character format? Like, a specific way to write about your character.

Whoever ends up GMing will undoubtedly have a format in mind, and likely specify it in their first post. Use that when the time comes.
EDIT: I'll be working when the deadline hits, so if I win the poll I'll have a thread up at about 10:30pm CST.

True, but I'm also thinking worst case scenario for me which would be it starts on the weekend. Even falling a day behind at the beginning of Avvy could be fatal. I know a guy who knows a guy who knew a guy. True story.

Not necessarily.
Just institute a limit of, oh, two to three posts per person per day. That should eliminate the "1st thread complete in six hours" problem.
EDIT: OK, OK, I'm exaggerating slightly. It's first three threads complete in 7.5 to 12 hours per thread.

It's first three threads complete in 7.5 to 12 hours per thread.
Where by "thread" you mean the objective that was supposed to be completed in the first thread but only got a chance to emerge for the first time at the end of the third thread.

By 'thread' I mean 100+ posts, requiring a new thread to be opened.

I agree with Arhra. I mean there are those who work during the day who cannot post, leaving them behind in the dust. I say limiting posting to 2-3 per person per day would alleviate that abandoned feeling.
