Guitar Hero: Metallica has No Leaf Clover. Therefore I was contractually obligated with my soul to play it at some point.
Also rented Mad World at last. Its...interesting! I think I might go full-on Review mode with this one.
And, as always, TF2. But that is always true of me.

I'm slowly making my way through KOTOR 2 again.
It's kind of been taking awhile this time; errands keep needing to be run.
Just beat Final Fantasy XII. Didn't beat Omega Mark XII, but I beat every other optional boss and I don't think I can take any more of the game, though I do love it. Going to review it. Should be fun.
Also been playing Rhythm Heaven, the first Ouendan, and Final Fantasy IV.

Red Alert 3 Uprising
-Trying to get through Commander's Challenge. A difficult task when my computer runs the game at 1/3rd speed, and in fact crashes when Desolators fire their weapons. So basically, I have to beat Commander's Challenge while defeating every Desolator with artillery or air units.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
-Playing whatever character I feel like. Right now it's Cloud, actually, though I'm not a fanboy at all (not that there's anything wrong with that, he's a respectable character once you get past all the hype). He's something like my 9th character I've tried playing for serious.
Smash Bros Brawl
-My neighbours have it in their res room. I main Pikachu but usually play random. <3 Thunder and side-A smash... </3 Zelda Din's Fire spam from my neighbour.
Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen aka Yasumi Matsuno kicks you in the balls extravaganza (it's hard!) [SNES]
I've been wanting to play more Matsuno games of late, what kind of game is Ogre Battle: March of the Queen Reference? Strategy RPG, turn based RPG, or something else? I guess I could probably check Wikipedia or something, but you're bound to give me a clearer idea of what to expect, so I'll just roll with that.

Make sure you go back to places you have conquered. There are all manner of secrets there.
And you REALLY REALLY need a sheet detailing alignment requirements for level ups because alignment management is key. Stupid wizards with thier stupid window.
Also: Build some liches, sit them in middle of map far away from any cities, kill everyone, conquer towns with everyone not fighting, reputation skyrockets!

How about Greatest RPG ever???
Well it's a strategy RPG in that you have a big campaign map and move units around on it and then when they hit other units it goes into combat mode where you don't really control the combat (except for generalised tactics and tarot cards which have magical effects on battle), so it's all about fighting in the correct places at the correct times.
By far the most interesting part of it is the alignment and reputation system.
The people have been conquered by a big empire which you are trying to defeat. If you just crush them with superior force then the people will just think you are a bully as well.
So unlike pretty much every other game ever you can't just build a superior force and win unless you going for evil ending.
If a unit defeats a lower level unit than itself it loses alignment, if it fights a higher level unit it gains alignment.
Alignment ties into your reputation when you conquer cities and also defines what troops can upgrade into.
Reputation is key for which ending you get plus also what crazy sidequests you can do and who you can meet an djoin.
As for what I'm playing, Advance Wars 2. Either it's heaps easier than the last one or I have gotten heaps better.

Ah! I was going through GH2 on expert earlier this year. I got to, like, the last set of songs before my fingers broke off and I got distracted otherwise. I really need to get back on that. My roommate has beaten everything on expert, I can accept no less!
I can beat her on Sweet Child of Mine on expert occasionally though, which is quite a feat because she plays it all of the freaking time.
Currently I'm playing... Metal Gear Solid 4. I've beaten it a billion times and I managed to save up enough Drebin Points for the Stealth Camo. Fallout 3: now that I've recently gotten both of the DLCs. S'great, loving all the new weapons.
Armored Core; For Answer: I've played all kinds of mecha games, from western real robots to eastern super crazy robots, but never actually played an Armored Core before. I haven't patched past 1.2 regs, but I'm loving it, even if it is brokenly fast. I'm still praying for an answer, silly engrish opening sequence.
Touhou 8; Imperishable Night: I'm still trying to beat Fujiwara No Moukou on maniac. Considering she's an immortal phoenix locked in a never ending battle with the goddess of the moon, as neither can kill each other... The battle is difficult (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Nb5Ohbt1Sg), to say the least.

Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen [SNES]: What Smarty said. I suggest you stay away from this for a while -it's a very demanding experience. You can get it on the Virtual Console, by the way.
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together [PSX]: Haven't played it (yet).
Final Fantasy Tactics [PSX]: Well, I've already said it, haven't I? It's one of those few video games that actually cares about fleshing out believable characters, and it has the most intricate storyline of any Final Fantasy. The battle system stands even more than a decade after its original release, and you'll end up fighting random battles for the sake of it. But, if I may interject, get the PSP port, The War of the Lions. It has some baffling slowdown during spells, but in every other arena it is superior to the original (better translation, better balance between classes not called THUNDER GOD CID, incredible voice acting and CGI).
Vagrant Story [PSX]: BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT. It's like a dungeon crawler bursting with Shakespeare references and incredible cinematography, even better than the original Metal Gear Solid. Make sure you look at a guide before in order to know how to create and combine weapons. The title doesn't make it too much clear.
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber [N64]: Haven't played it yet.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance [GBA]: Could have been FUCK AWESOME if the dude hadn't been getting kicked in the balls by Square during production. I'd still buy it; it's a really fun game.
Final Fantasy XII [PS2]: Could have been FUCK AWESOME if the dude hadn't been getting kicked in the balls by Square during production.
MadWorld [Wii]: MadWorld, fuck yeah!
That about covers all his works.
Make sure you go back to places you have conquered. There are all manner of secrets there.

You, sir, get an Internet.

Now it's gonna guilt me into playing it all over again. ;_;You and everyone else on their first play through. It's part of why the game is awesome. Now you go back and you fix things!

The world ends with you. I just finished the first week, to my surprise I found that I actually liked the story line so far. I'm not sure I can be bothered to start all over again and act as a rehabilitation officer for someone new.

I started playing FF VIII again.
Can't really decide if I'm enjoying the game or not yet. It's got some nostalgia though since it was probably the first non-NES FF I played and I didn't get around to playing it until the PS2 came out.

Don't worry, Joshua doesn't have nearly as many issues as Shiki.
I'm currently replaying TWEWY, Trying to find a bloody Feebas in Pokemon Platinum, and kicking the ass of EBA.
kicking the ass of EBA.
There are only three possibilities.
1. You're on an easy difficulty.
2. You've already played it a ton and mastered it.
3. You're a goddamn lying whore.
I started playing EBA again and I'm stuck at Material World on the Divas difficulty.

I shall never again play a game that requires this outlandish and foreign notion of "Ryuthem" so many of you speak of.

Dark Cloud and FFXII
Building up weapons in DC. Getting ready to face Yiazmat in FFXII and then I suppose I'll go and beat the last dungeon.

I've been stuck on the last mission on Normal since I got the game, a few years back. Stupid Jumpin' Jack Flash. I'll beat it eventually... Hopefully.

Just so y'know.

I just finished Avalon Code. Now I'm alternating between Rhythm Heaven and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. I'm thinking of picking up Pokemon Pearl again, but I don't have the willpower to breed and EV train.

I just finished Dokapon Kingdom with a lv 83 hero (overkill for sure, but fuck auto-counter), and I decided to actually get around to finishing KOTOR. I was disappointed in the twist, but it's basically one stupid blemish on an otherwise great game. The dialogue just gets better and better.

Currently I'm playing... Metal Gear Solid 4.
I want to amend that last night, I started playing Metal Gear Solid (the first one, on the Playstation) again. I was working on a run through on expert many months ago before I went out and got MGS2 and 3 (and eventually 4), which caused me to abandon my game, but I decided to continue again. I just got past the fight with Sniper Wolf.
My next game in MGS4 will probably be on Big Boss Extreme, because I'm a glutton for punsihment I guess. :sweatdrop
If this thread was about what I WANT to be playing, it would totally be The Sims 3, I can't wait until that comes out.

I thought I heard the extreme difficulty level was The Boss?

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon.
I blame the fact that I'm addicted to mystery dungeon games. And that the main character is a chocobo.
Also: Pokemon Platinum. Just finishing up stuff in Stark Mountain or whatever it's called.

Just so y'know.
If I wanna cause myself undue stress and pain I'll just slam my junk in a door frame.
Or play Megaman 9.
Whichever is easier at the time.

Final Fantasy VIII is actually proving to be enjoyable, maybe because I'm playing it on PC and can navigate the battle menu 100x faster.
However my DS has had something happen to the screen where there's now a giant black spot that doesn't go away. I can't trade it in like this so I'm torn between buying the psp I was saving for or buying a ds lite.

Well it's a no brainer if you don't already have a ds lite. I used to have the normal ds and told my friends "pfft I don't need no expensive ds lite."
Then my girlfriend got a ds lite and after watching her play it for 5 minutes I sought out a ds lite as quickly as possible. Of course, my ds was in good enough condition to trade in, so it wasn't too expensive for the switch.

So I'm onto 'Rock the 80s Now' I'm pretty much trapped in 'Hard Mode' - The curve to 'Expert' is way too steep, and 'Medium' puts me to sleep.
Also playing Brain age! My brain age is currently 62!

I'm kinda hoping that the DSi creates a price drop but that's wishful thinking. I also had actual games I wanted to play for psp but I have all these ds games I love. I'm sure I'll end up getting the lite though because how will I play pokemon or nintendogs without it.

I think with the PSP you've got some big name must-have games, but you've got more consistent quality and quantity with the DS.
Also the DSi is a stupid idea.

See that's why I'd get a DS Lite.
e: It's also entirely possible I'll be ridiculed and called a blasphemer for this but I'm beginning to wish more Final Fantasy's had been eventually ported to the PC. I mean I really do LOVE playing them on Playstation and would never have them move off it, I'll continue buying them for it, but does it feel a lot different navigating menus with a keyboard.
