Does enjoying this count as schadenfreude? (http://www.fmylife.com)

I think it's like a bash.org of self-pity or... something.

I'm going to edit in my favorites later, but let me assure you sir, I shall kiss your feet for bringing me this assortment of other people's pain.

Today, my husband and I were talking about names for our expectant child. I told him since I named our daughter he could name our son. He's decided on a name from 'God of War'. My son is going to be named after a make-believe cartoon character - Kratos. FML

This woman has nothing to whine about.

There is the edit button good sir. But what, pray tell, would you possibly wish to change?

I decided a couple weeks ago that the majority of these are fake. There's also lot of repetition once you read a few pages.

I'm beginning to notice that, (what with 3/5 being break up stories) but the first couple of pages had me rolling with laughter.

There was literal rolling going on. It was like the Holy Spirit or Being on Fire or something.

She's really showing her ignorance here, as Kratos is an actual god (or Titan, if you want to get technical). It's not that different from naming a kid "Zeus".

It's still an atrocious name, but it's not like he named the kid "Bugs".

The main thing that confused me is that there's consistently decent grammar. It's all very readable and understandable, which means that every single post is checked for quality before being shown or it's all fake.

Also, of course 3/5ths are break-up stories. If nothing else, that makes me think it's real.

That depends. If the kid grows up to be a macho linebacker in college, Kratos is completly badass.

If he grows up to be...well, like us, then it would be significantly less so.
